Food is not that great nor too bad on scale of 5 I’ll rate 2.5. Chutneys were tasty. We took one of the combo’s and kuthu paratha. Combo is filling with a dessert, I liked the dessert. I’m giving two stars because of ambience. When you enter there’s a very bad pungent odor like a room which is closed for very long without ventilation. Definitely they need to do something about it. Also the person who was serving us gave us the menu card and complete forgot about us until we had to go back and remind him we had to place the order. After sometime asked for some extra sambar which the guy forgot again :(Their Billing machine was also not working.

Dosa was really good! Went here with our 2 friends and we ordered the butter masala dosa, ginger masala, onion dosa and masala dosa. Everyone really enjoyed their dosas! Food came out in a respectable amount of time as well. We will definitely be back!

!!! Caution !!! Place infested with cockroaches
I used to love this place and used to visit quite often. Invited so many people to the place and became a regular customer, but was shocked when we found a cockroach in the food that was served to us.

Had a great time at this restaurant! Very nice South Indian food and great service. They offered us «welcome dosas» after we had ordered which are just small masala dosas with some coconut chutney served with a piece of banana leaf as a nice touch.
We ordered an uttapam, egg biryani, appam, and veg kotthu parotta. The a few of the items were served with raita and veg korma, both of which were very tasty. The filter coffee was also nice.
Bonus points for being open after 9:30 which is so rare in Milpitas.

CRAP! Very bad.
The quality and quantity is both bad. I have tried both in Sunnyvale and Fremont… Both are equally bad. They use unhealthy used oil, the food tastes stale.
We had taken Bhel puri and masala dosa… Bhel puri was not upto the mark and quantity was too less… Masala Dosa — chutney/​sambar was the worst to say the least.
The owner of this restaurant should try eating at other south indian restaurants in Bay area and he will come to know what quality they are serving the customers.

!!! Caution !!! do not go place is infested with cockroaches .
We dined in this restaurant during lunch ordered Rava Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Munchurian Medhu Vada. We were almost half way trough and noticed the strange looking thing … upon closer look we noticed it as a baby cockroach .The lady on the counter talked with the owner and said she is so sorry for this. There are a lot better Restaurants to dine in the area pick any. Dont go to this place .

Excellent food. The place is just okay ambience wise but to be honest I was not expecting a lot. The food was excellent. We ordered two regional special dosas and rasam and coffee. The rasam is to die for. The dosas were good too and the sambar was just right.

Man this place is hard to rate
On the one hand, the food is excellent, as well as the service. I got the ananda spicy masala dosa, which was fantastic – lots of tasty dip sauces, the dosa was cooked on the spot and served hot, and the masala filling was was served hot and had a really good kick to it. The service was great as well – the servers were really attentive, and went out of his way to make sure the food was acceptable for my friend’s strict diet requirements.
On the other hand, after I ate the food, my stomach couldn’t take it – I must have went to the bathroom 5 times the day after because of the food here :)
Maybe it’s just me :) But unlikely I will come back here, even though the food was really tasty, and authentic, and the customer service was really good.

We got a family masala dosa between 2. The waiter said it was good for a family of 3 – 4. We completed it! And got more! The pineapple pudding is decent. The filter coffee is awesome.
The cabbage manchurian is not great but not bad.
