If you’re looking for diner food and a really nice staff to go with it I recommend this place! We moved to Bow in October and were in search of a local breakfast place, found it! My husband gets the banana chocolate chip pancakes everyone every time we go! Which we usually try to go once a weekend. Their hash is out of this world as well! Reasonably priced, good staff, good bottomless coffee and delicious consistent food!

12:19 pm the place is a ghost town. We order 2 burgers. Huge burgers to bad the bun had green mold on it. Chickens platter didn’t look like chicken. Tasted weird. Looks like a nice place. Just fix the food

Amazing breakfast, my hubby and I both loved it! We had eggs toast, bacon, hash browns-incredibly seasoned, and he had what he called the best hash ever! He also got the cinnamon and apples waffles —which he is still talking about! I had peanut butter stuffed French toast but couldn’t finish because of everything else. /not cuz I didn’t want to because it was perfect!

Stopped by for lunch on 7÷16÷15 around 1:30pm, glad I did! My random selection for diner of the day(I enjoy hitting them whenever I can). The main street is quiet, many businesses there are shuttered, but here’s this little gem. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and fun environment. Loved my cheese burger and STEAKFRIES! My lunch was hot, fresh and awesome! It’s now going to be a regular stop for me!

We stumbled upon this little diner when we were on a hiking trip to New Hampshire and looking for some breakfast. After passing what seemed like hundreds of Dunkin Donuts we were pleasantly surprised to end up here. The décor is kitschy and the food is authentic home cooking served with a smile. There aren’t enough of these types of establishments left. If you’re passing through the area, stop here! You won’t regret it.

Stopped here on a weekday with my fiancée and 15mo daughter… loved the décor! Part 50’s(Elvis and pastel colored diner chairs) and part 70’s/80’s(loads of album covers, posters, gold records etc), the Rock On had a great, welcoming feel, perhaps because I’m also a musician, and a lifelong rock n rock fan… now to what we came for: the Food! I had a BLT club– lots of crispy bacon, perfectly toasted bread, fresh lettuce etc plus onion rings subbed for fries… Definitely didn’t disappoint! My fiancée had a mushroom omelette and she gave a thumbs up as well as a big smile on our daughter’s face as she was sharing our lunch! Our waitress was great and attentive as well… If you want a reasonably priced bite diner style with loads of rock n roll memorabilia and Palladia on the TV in a quaint small town center setting, the Rock On Diner is a hit record!

Stopped in for a quick bite after a long drive. I had the BLT, which was great and reasonably priced, my companion ordered the plain hash, and was a bit underwhelmed. I liked the theme of the place, and That Metal Show was playing on the TV which was a nice touch. Service was good, at one point the cook came out and asked how everything was. He seems to have created an imaginative and full menu. Audiophiles be sure to check out Bobby Dee’s across the street after lunch for some old school gear and records.

Typical diner faire for breakfast and lunch. I came for breakfast and had a traditional Western Omelette. The décor is all classic rock album covers, records, and posters. Like it all

Good food at a good price. Breakfast sandwich with pigs in a blanket and homefries is what I have for their breakfast(which is all day). Very friendly people with nice atmosphere. Cool to check out all of the classic rock albums hanging up as well as famous musician’s portraits. Food is pretty cheap too.

Great little place to eat on Main St. Service was good, and prices were right on target. Nice place for locals looking for some place within walking distance or a short drive.

Don’t bother. Just had a horrible experience: rude waitstaff, incorrect orders, undercooked bacon — and then refusal to re-cook said undercooked bacon — and sloooooow service. They never bothered to even refill our coffees. Sat at the counter with two other friends — and their orders were incorrect, too. We’ll probably never go back after that disaster. Take the extra few minutes to drive to Robies… or head to Poor Boys in Derry.

I stopped by the new Rock On Diner today, not once, but twice for breakfast and later for dinner. Rock On Diner just opened recently in Suncook, in the former Sunrise Grille space. The place was redone and converted into a 1950s/rock & roll style diner. The new diner is decked out with plenty of rock & roll memorabilia on the walls including framed posters, records, CDs, and instruments. This place is sort of resembles a mini Hard Rock Café. Coincidently, this diner was originally named Hard Rock Diner, but the name was changed to Rock On Diner probably due to obvious legal reasons. The layout is divided into three sections, the left side 1950s style with black & white checkerboard floors, classic vinyl seating, white tables, and counter seating along the wall. The right side is dedicated to rock & roll, fully carpeted with ample table seating. The tables on the right side have a plate glass dining surface with old 45 records, album covers and CDs of various rock and roll artists underneath including Elvis Presley, Steve Milller Band, Charlie Daniels, The Beatles, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, and other rock & rollers. The center back area has counter seating facing the kitchen with a TV showing VH1 Rock. The staff on duty don various rock & roll t-shirts. The menu items include typical American diner fare including a full breakfast menu of egg dishes, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, waffles, homemade corned beef hash, and more. Weekday Early Bird breakfast specials($ 3.99) are offered before 7:30AM. Lunch menu offerings(served starting at 11AM) include sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, soups, chicken tenders, steak tips, meatloaf, liver & onions, and seafood(haddock, shrimp, scallops, clams). Kids menu is available. The prices are fair, most items under $ 10, seafood under $ 16. Coke products and New England Coffee served here. A specials board is posted outside the door. I stopped in here for breakfast on my way to work. I could sit anywhere I’d like. The waitress wearing a black Guns N Roses tee offered me some fresh brewed New England Coffee($ 1.50) as I took a seat. The coffee was good. I ordered the Homemade Corned Beef Hash with 2 Eggs($ 6.75) served with homefries and choice of toast. The food was served in under 10 minutes. The breakfast was excellent and perfectly done. The Homemade Corned Beef Hash was grilled into a crispy patty with shredded corned beef, minced potatoes, & spicy seasonings. It was almost like eating a crab cake, except the meat was corned beef. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and soft. The homefries were fresh sliced baby potatoes and grilled crispy and lightly browned on the outside. The toasted English muffins were prebuttered, Smuckers jellies provided at the table. The food was not salty tasting, which is much appreciated so I enjoy the real taste of a good breakfast. The service was very good and I got a few coffee refills with my breakfast. The cook/owner Larry came out into the dining area to greet his customers and he also thanked me for stopping in. I told him I’d return very soon. Nine hours later, I stopped back at Rock On Diner for dinner takeout on my way home. Larry and the staff remembered my name! I ordered the Fish & Chips Special($ 7.50, normally $ 8.50). My waitress from breakfast was still here working a double shift. The food was all set in 10 minutes. The Fish & Chips had four pieces of lightly breaded fish and plenty of thick golden steak fries, tartar sauce and ketchup packets provided. The fish pieces had a pungent fish odor(whew!), but still tasted pretty good nonetheless. The big portion of steak fries were good and unsalted, much appreciated. Salt and pepper packets were also provided just in case I wanted salted fries. However, a smaller portion of fries plus cole slaw would’ve been nice. Overall, the breakfast was excellent and dinner was pretty decent. Because I had a good hearty breakfast at the Rock On Diner, I had a very productive day at work and got a lot of things done. Rock On Diner is now in my rotation for breakfast and lunch(dinner).
