Starbucks

Ive always had quick service in the Drive Thru. The coffee I order is always as per all of the other Star Bucks Ive visited in the past.

Every single time I come here my order gets mixed up. I called once to complain since this is the Starbucks located at my convenience before heading to work. I used to come 4 –6 days a week but because such bad service I started driving to the one on east Washington that’s 10 mins out of my way. Today I didn’t have time to make it to that one so I had my fingers crossed this location could get my tea right just this one time. Again, didn’t sweeten my tea and I was the only one in line so it wasn’t even busy. Guess I learned my lesson again and will just have to go without when I’m running late.

I’m not sure where to begin… I’m relatively new to the game of coffee ordering and I’m still in the basic stages of figuring out my flavor combinations. This Starbucks has some of the friendliest staff working and they have infinite patience for me when I order and make some suggestions on what I could change to make things better. I really appreciate how even with the line behind me when I’m in the drive thru they never rush me. Too bad this particular location is about 25 mins from my home and I only find myself here once a week to be at a job site. Otherwise I would have become Duchess a LONG time ago!

Stopped here this afternoon w/​my teen age son in the drive up lane. Not crowded & the barista was very patient and congenial with us as she walked us (my son) thru the menu. Nice service!

This is a great Starbucks. They staff is always friendly and fast. I’ve never had any issues with my orders. The one problem I think the location has is that it just isn’t big enough. Always «feels» crowded.

Not a good location for getting work done! I went there to study because Starbucks has free wifi and in general is known for people to relax and have coffee and read the paper and so on. But between the music that was just a little too loud, and the loud staff, not very courteous of the several people trying to get work done, it just wasn’t a pleasant experience. They didn’t even write my name on the cup, there was a sticker printed that got stuck on to it! Lol obviously not a huge deal but what happened to the old Starbucks we’ve all came to love?
The coffee was good though. It was clean. But they where also out of *several* of their food items on the menu. I guess I expected too much.

Nothing wrong with the drinks as they don’t change much from place to place. It is the customer service that sucks. I have been here several times and mostly used the drive through. I’ve been inside 4 – 5 times now. One time I stood at the counter with no one in front of me. The drive through was busy as usual but there was 5 people working. I stood there for a while an no one acknowledged me to even say, «I’ll be with you on a minute.» Eventually someone took my order, walked away, I moved down to pick my order up and the person making my drink didn’t even look up as they set my drink on the counter. The best part was I did get a smile from the young lady who was taking the trash out as we approached the door at the same time. I went back again and you can definitely feel a toxic workplace. I observed the manager who never cracked a smile or acknowledged customers. He is setting the example and someone needs to train him in customer service. I would love to get my hands on this place and teach them all how to give great customer service and make their customers feel welcomed instead of the «I don’t care» attitude that seems to permeate the place.

I’m a regular Starbucks patron, but this is definitely not the best location I’ve visited. I’ve gone into the store and through the drive-​thru several times. Going in the store was fairly quick, but I’ve had long waits and even ended up getting my drink free because it was so slow through drive-​thru more than once.
I mean, I’ll take a free drink of course, but I would prefer quick, efficient, service over long waits.

I have had slow, rude service here on several occasions.
I am not sure why I’ve come back.

It’s a Starbucks so you can expect the usual. Counter person was pleasant — took the order, write my simple first name on cup. Started working — free, good wifi — and after a few minutes when I didn’t hear my name called I walked up to the counter. There was a cup there but I did not see a name on it. I asked the two baristas if it was a medium latte. They said they thought it was for chad. My name is john. No one else moves to grab the cup. I asked if it was a medium latte. No answer. I asked if any of the cups about to be filled had the name john on them. No answer. Got one brief stare and then they went on about their business. I counted to ten, trying to take up all the space at the counter. They knew I was there. Took a deep breath and asked if anyone was going to help me. The gent, surly as heck, loudly states that he is making me a latte. Unfortunately my ability to read minds want working this morning so I had no idea. I decided to take the high road and just smiled. When he handed me my coffee he made it a point to loudly call out what it was and wish me a great day, which is slang for FU. I wished him a BETTER day, which is slang for right back at ya. Nice job at stating my day with unnecessary confrontation Starbucks. I watched for a few minutes as I worked. Cashiers seemed nice. Baristas surly. Need to train your people Starbucks Sun Prairie location. Knew I should not have gone to a big box coffee place. Shame, shame on me…

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The employees are always nice and I always get my drink relatively quickly. Would come here more often if the prices were lower, so for now it’s just a treat every once and awhile for me.

I, too, am a fan of the Starbucks machine. Actually my favorite Starbucks product is the Via instant coffee which I drink at work all the time. The Starbucks in Sun Prairie is primarily a drive through affair — and they do a brisk business. The inside is similar to any other Starbucks you’ve ever been too. I think at the end of the day, you’re either a Starbucks person or you’re not…

We were very excited to have Starbucks Coffee near us in Sun Prairie and began visiting regularly. The coffee is great. The staff exceptional, and the layout very comfortable. Unfortunately it ends there. We found that the temperature is always set at freezing, winter and summer. The music is so loud you can’t here yourself think, or hold a conversation, and the genre is pop. we tried sitting outside weather permitting only to find tables and chairs not yet cleaned from the winter.
We will continue to visit Starbucks because of the friendly staff and great coffee, but will sit outside, after cleaning the chairs and tables

There are several Starbucks in the area, this is by far my favorite. Always friendly and professional.

I no sooner give my order for a double shot espresso & it’s delivered. Eric & the crew are on top of their game.

SLOW service. After twice suffering through the drive-​thru — SLOW — I thought it might be faster to park and go in. Nope. staff seem to be fluttering around without actually producing anything. Plus much chatting among themselves and ignoring customers. i thought it was startup adjustment but now I think they just cant get it together (or don’t really care). too bad b/​c it is a great location to stop between shopping destinations.

Service is improving at this location. Staff has always been friendly and courteous. The location of this store is somewhat challenging during busy times. Tight parking lot and narrow entry way makes it difficult to navigate around traffic. Quality of the products are what you would expect from Starbucks.

I was so excited when I heard that there would be a Starbucks at this location, as I’d been wondering about this large building on the corner. I thought us crazy kids in Sun Prairie were getting the biggest Starbucks in the WORLD.
I was so wrong. Starbucks is just a little bit of this building, the rest is still being finished and I haven’t heard anything about what’s going in there.
At any rate, I wanted to check it out but had already had my caffeine dose for the day so I went with a caramel steamer. The guy at the counter was friendly, the woman over by the coffee machine was super-​chatty (but in a fun way and I was in the mood for a little conversation), and my drink was perfect (I don’t think steamers are very hard for the average barista but a review is a review).

Yes, I rated a chain 5 stars and here is why…
My coffee maker, a french press, broke the week before SB opened. My backup, a Keurig, died the next day — no warning just died, wouldn’t even turn on.
SB has a drive through, I have two kids, dragging them in and out of their car seats is worse then glass in your eye. :)
Those are the reasons I went to SB, but here are the reasons why I am giving them five stars.
My first two trips through the drive through, because of high volume and new equipment malfunctions (the phone scanner wouldn’t scan my phone). They didn’t charge me for anything!
By the third time through the drive through they knew me and my order. My husband had a similar experience. We found the service exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a satisfactory experience. Kudos to you Sun Prairie Starbucks. I am glad you are here. :)
