Worst Company and Mattress Ever! I have had my sleep number for 48 hours and wanted to return because it was the worst night sleep ever and my back hurt. Basically felt like a glorified blow up mattress. Went to call and return because of course they advertise 100 day mattress guarantee. Well, one catch they put in contract!!! The mattress can be returned but the BASE Can Not and the base is 2,099 dollars and Oh there is a restocking fee of like 500 dollars! Biggest scam ever and I am out of 2,500 dollars. Also, there customer service is horrible, put you on hold forever and could careless that you are basically getting scammed out of 2,500 dollars. I will be going to every social media outlet I can find to tell people not to buy this mattress. There is a reason NO major mattress outlet sells this mattress anymore.

The store is fine, has good knowledgeable sales staff… but. We bought the most expensive bed available: $ 12,000. Installers showed up 3 hrs late(9pm) and installed my side of the bed 6 inches off the frame. I slept half way off the bed all night. Then, they used the taller legs(which we didn’t ask for)…I had to jump into my $ 12,000 bed, and grab on so I didn’t fall off. When we called customer support, they sent out people to fix it. 5 days later. Again, at 9:30 pm. By then the foam had broken down, causing a permanent tilt to the mattress and 4 inch gap between beds.(We have the split mattress) So I was still falling off the bed, and couldn’t sit on the side, even though it was shorter. I called to have bed returned and refunded. $ 12,000 bed should NOT have this many issues. $ 12,000. Nice man on the phone refunded me, said people would call to schedule pick up. 3 days later, with zero sleep on this $ 12,000 bed… and no call. So I called customer service, because we are desperate to buy a bed that I could actually sleep on and needed a delivery date for after they picked up the $ 12,000 bed. They scheduled 12 days later!!! I asked again for next available pick up, because I’m sleeping in my recliner. And he gave me 6 days later instead of 12. So, for $ 12,000 I got a stiff neck, headache, exhaustion, and still no comfy bed. Oh. And we are STILL waiting for the expensive sheets we ordered from sleep number, since no others stay on. We’ve had the bed almost a month. Disappointed is an understatement. AND the voice activation is a joke. Is there a ZERO star or negative star review option?!

I purchased a P5 mattress and base on 4÷4÷15. I was using a retail me not coupon code and I was treated as though they really did not want my business! The salesperson seemed totally confused as to how to process the order and took at least 30 minutes from the time I walked in till the time I had the purchase receipt. By the way I had already chose the mattress as I had previously visited the store. The salesperson called after I left the store and said he needed my credit card information because he had to run the order through a different system due to the discount code. Hmm strange but OK! I just checked my email and I was charged three times $ 2706.22!!! I only ordered one mattress. I called the store and no answer so I left a voice mail. Two hours later I have not received a call back! I contacted customer service and all they could tell me is they only see one charge so why was my credit card charged three times! I still have not found that out. I have to dispute charges with my credit card and go through that process! If you must have sleep number go to another location or order online! I will cancel my order due to the headache!

Less than 24 hours after my purchase, I receive a phone call from the store. Oh no! They forgot to charge me for delivery. They tried to fix, but customer service needs me to call them and approve the charge. Not happy, but mistakes happen, I guess. The salesperson reminded me that I should have received a ten percent discount on the sheets and mattress cover I purchased because I am a previous owner. So, reluctantly, I call customer service and finally speak to the correct department. Christina was very polite and helpful. I was not angry just not happy at the additional cost. She was friendly and asked if It was ok to charge me the extra 179.00US dollars. My response was simple… it’s not ok but I don’t have a choice in this matter. She said ok and put me on hold. When she came back to the phone, she had the most amazing news. She was waiving the fee because it was their error. They were unable to offer me the ten percent discount because I had already used a coupon and they couldn’t «stack» discounts. Wow is all I can say. I chose select comfort because I loved the first bed I purchased and the customer service was always top notch. I see that the company has not changed. They truly know the meaning of customer service. In this world, with the economy as it is, it is the company that stands out that will survive. This company is a diamond in the rough. You rarely find reps or companies who truly mean to provide service…(don’t get me started on comcast, time warner… another time). So my advice… if you want a superb bed and a company who backs their product and is loyal to their buyers for a lifetime… buy Sleep Number. They are the real deal.
