The staff is super friendly which is always a plus. The tables were sticky which was gross but not leave right now gross. When I came it was about 7pm it was not as packed but by the time we left it was a full house so I mean I feel that they had plenty of time to wipe down the tables. The pizza was good but I prefer top it pizza. There u can choose the crust type u want. Here they just gave me a thin crust. Which I mean I like thin crust sometimes but when I think of pizza I think of a thick yummy crust. So the pizza was just okay to me. I’d probably not come back again because I wasn’t amazed. But there’s no harm in eating there. I’m just a pizza fanatic lol Also the garlic bread isn’t good, don’t waste your money. Ps they sell beer

First time here and I’ll have to say I loved it. Custom pizza served in the same way you would build a burrito at chipotle. I chose the«mega» option which is the same size pizza as the regular but has two layers of crust for a deep dish feel. The environment was clean and relaxed and the food was great. Some of the Drinks offered: in house lemonade, pear tea, raspberry lemonade, black unsweetened tea, the usual fountain drinks(coca cola) and last but not least tap, bottle beer and wine. If you are trying to eat healthy there is also a salad option.

First time here and it was GOOD. When we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we’ve ever been there. He explained to us that we only pay for the size of the pizza and you can add any and as much toppings as you want, for the same price! I got a mini, perfect size for a small girl like me. They have selections of with their choice of toppings or you can build your own, me and my bf chose to build our own. TBH, some of the ingredients could use a little more flavor, like their tomato sauce and spicy sausages, but other than that, I enjoyed our pizzas. They also have sauces for when you go pick up your pizza when it’s ready; they’ll ask if you want it on the pizza or on the side. They recommended on the side, so it wouldn’t ruin the pizza if you didn’t like it, good idea!

Love that they have gluten free options and it’s so good! However really wish it was more consistent across the board with employees being trained in gluten free measures. It would definitely make me more inclined to eat here! I order a salad with toppings that are safe but the employees don’t change gloves in between and don’t know what toppings or dressings are safe for celiac both times I’ve asked. Highly recommend to people without allergies but not yet for gluten sensitive individuals.

Not as good as Blazes. Same concept with fresh vegetables and ingredients but the sauce lacks flavor. Great atmosphere.

I hate to be that guy, but nothing compared to blaze pizza. It’s the exact same concept, subway for pizza. The prices are the same as blaze and it’s in a better location than blaze. I love the vibe you get there, I like the value, but the taste did not compare to blaze. I would say it’s more«rustic» than blaze, but it tasted more bland to me. Less flavors. If you’re not as picky when it comes to pizza, give it a try. It’s a good value but I would tel you to try blaze.

Much better alternative then cardboard eating dominos pizza & buckets of baby oil Pizza Hut. It’s a much better atmosphere, pizza is made in front of you, and a very unique option of pizza choices from the menu.

Love this place! It’s fast, people are friendly and you get to personalize your own pizza! The pizza is thin with a wood burning oven flavor! The BBQ chicken pizza is top-notch! The pear tea is amazing! I would definitely recommend it!

My favorite of the quick fire pizza chains. Great topping options and great employees, they’re always helpful and fun! I always go for the pesto instead of tomato sauce, makes it more interesting.

My visit to MOD pizza was a good one. The ambience and look of the place is great. The concept for this place is also great. Fast quick fresh yummy pizza in a quick time. The workers here are speedy and good at what they do. The pizzas had good flavor and the options you can pick here are almost endless. Must try this place and create you own delicious pizza.

I absolutely love this pizza place! The food is great, and the workers are very perky and friendly. When you enter, you are greeted with a friendly«welcome» and they are jovial throughout your whole pizza making process. I truly favor their whole concept of «point and choose» your toppings, and how much of each topping you want. I also like how you can choose the size of the pizzas based on your appetite: For example, if you are not so hungry but are craving a «snack-size pizza», you can get the smallest size and would be satisfied after finishing the whole pie, sans leftovers. The pizzas are made fast, and the workers do not sacrifice quality for quantity! When I went there, I ordered the Calexico with *a lot* of jalapenos ;). The chicken, buffalo sauce, and gorgonzola was delicious and I definitely liked the MOD red sauce.(Unfortunately, they added a bit too much gorgonzola cheese for my taste, but it’s not a fault of theirs since I could’ve told them to ease up on the gorgonzola.) My boyfriend got the Dillon James and he said he loved the freshness of the vegetables. He said that if you’re the type of person to prefer more vegetables on pizza rather than tons of meat, the Dillon James would be great for you since you can add some meat(if desired). We both agreed that we’d definitely come here again whenever we are craving some delicious personalized pizzas! This place also serves beer – which is a plus if you like beer with pizza :). I recommend this place if you are craving some personalized pizzas, made in a timely manner, in a friendly environment.

As a result of poor planning, and a little bit of laziness, my daughters and I ended up here on a weeknight after school. It’s true what they say, it really is super fast. We ordered, paid, and got our food in less than ten minutes. We got three 6″ pizzas and three drinks, and it came out to a little over $ 20, so it’s convenient, and budget friendly. 2 pluses in my book. I had the calexico, which is one of their menu options with chicken, buffalo sauce, and jalapenos. It was tasty, and I got my spicy pizza fix in an individual portion. I’m glad to have a place like this so close to home. I’ll come back and make an adventurous custom pizza next time

This is dangerously close to my neighborhood. For a Saturday night, I was surprised it wasn’t packed. Word might not yet have gotten out about this family-friendly joint. The service is friendly, which is a definite must with indecisive kids in tow. I think what I love about the MOD chain is that they are consistent with their pizza-making. They actually take the time to spread the ingredients around evenly. This was a pet peeve of mine when going to gourmet pizza places and they tend to leave more crust uncovered than necessary.

You can build your own pizza(or salad), or you can order from their menu of pizzas and salads. My pizza here was pretty decent, but it was not as good as Blaze. There’s no fresh mozzarella option, and the pizza crust wasn’t as crispy as it was at Blaze. Probably will not be returning to eat here since Blaze is only a few minutes’ drive away from Mod. Service was good, and the pizza came out pretty quickly though.

Tip: It’s better to make your own but be careful because you can actually make a bad pizza if you mix and match the wrong things together. For this visit, I tried the location in Greatwood, which is located on 59S and Grand Parkway(99). In comparison to the location by the Galleria, some of the toppings were completely out and not refilled, and I noticed some of the toppings I loved at the Galleria location(like the roasted whole garlic cloves) were missing. It was only 8:30pm on a Saturday night so I was surprised to not see some of the topping selections refilled. Needless to say, you were limited by only what was available. The pizza was still delicious since I still had other toppings to choose from, and I had also tried the Mod Salad which was pretty good.

This is a build your own pizza just like Blaze pizza. It’s set up like Chipotle or Subway, pick your fresh ingredients unlimited toppings and they’ll bake it while you pay at the counter. And pick a finishing glaze to squirt on after they bake it. I didn’t. They also have preset pizzas so you don’t have to choose your own ingredients. $ 7.50 per pizza. Actually they have a cheaper smaller size too. I added various cheeses including Asiago, pineapples, basil, herbs, pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, jalapeños… Yummy! Thin crispy crust. Avoid adding salt bc it’s salty already. Service was good. Lots of tables to dine in. Located off of 59/grand parkway in Heb lot. Located close to Starbucks, Tmobile, menchies…

Last night our family decided to make our second visit to MOD pizza since they opened about a month and a half ago. My wife’s first visit she liked it a lot! For a Friday night the place was hopping! The line was practically out the door! But moving fast. Their crew was very efficient and worked well together and the pizzas we ordered were so good! The first time I visited I was a neophyte and didn’t realize that for one price you had your choice of unlimited ingredients. This time around I loaded it up and the MOD team was very generous with the ingredients! The pizzas turned out so good! While there we had an opportunity to meet with Tim one of the managers of the store and he enlightened us about the MOD concept and how the stores originated which was very fascinating! The stores originated in Seattle in 2008 and have caught on and taken off in many cities and I can see why! The employees here seemed together and happy and their attitudes were good! The place was bright and cheery and full of families enjoying a Friday night! A great addition to our community, our family was very impressed!

OK. 3rd visit. I’m actually giving them 2.5 stars, but Unilocal!won’t let us do that yet. 1st visit. Invited to the soft opening. Stove blew up. No pizza. Boooo. Given 2 free pizza coupons! Yaaaaaaaaay! Leads to 2nd and 3rd visit. 2nd visit. Came in the evening on a weekday. Only 2 employees working the pizza line, even tho there were(unexplainably) 7 behind them. First guy was polite and apologized. Topping girl was clueless and didn’t know what the toppings that I requested were. Ummmm, don’t you work here? *you can see my pics from that visit. The pizza came out great. Topping are yummy, great assortment of upscale foodie type choices, which is just up my alley. Unfortunately, the employees just are not knowledge or helpful enough when building your own which is what they are supposed to be all about. I have never been offered any sauces. And none of them seem intrested in their jobs. But, here is what REALLY ruined the visit. One of the managers came in, he was off duty. Bald, with a gotee — I think, toting his maybe 4 year old son. He proceeded to have his employees make him like 3 pizzas and 2 salads while letting his son(I think) his name was Ryder, because I heard it yelled repeatedly as he ran all around the place, climbing on and under tables behind the counter ect. Little Ryder even stopped by to hang out with me for a bit! Manager dad came out to give him some toys and 2 cups of soda(cause he wasn’t hyper enough!!!) So then Ryder dunked his hands in the cups and ran around the store ANDBEHINDTHECOUNTER touching everything with his sticky ass hands. It was sort of hilarious. But Totally gross. Manager dad never said shiz to him and didn’t seem to care that his kid was running amock in the store and breaking health codes probably. He finally left with his free food and peace was sorta restored because it’s loud as hell up in there. I don’t know why because there were maybe 6 customers. Turn the music down! And stop freaking yelling at us. Give us table numbers and BRINGUSOURPIZZA. K. Thnkx. 3rd visit. Still a long wait. Nice greeting. Pizza topping guy was cool. Cashier guy was nice. Name screaming pizza girl was rude. It’s still too effing loud up in here. Beer is overpriced. Pizza IS reasonably priced considering what you are getting. Crust is thin, chewy and soft under the toppings but perfectly crispy on the edges. And hey, all I had to pay for was the beer cause I was using my free pizza coupons from the soft opening debacle. All in all, it’s ok. They are new and they will get better. They will do ok, because let’s face it, this is Sugar Land. But I think that I am going to journey up the road to their competitor with the same concept and give them a try. Because LeBron James was nice enough to give me a free pizza coupon too. CSharbs Out!

Nice, quick pizza. If they could assure these ingredients were premium and did not look a bit on the suspect side I would have enjoyed my pizza much better. Wonderful selection, but the staff seemed very unorganized. I witnessed a group argument while I was waiting to pay for my pizza. The place looked like a poorly maintained fast food joint, which was unclean and very messy. I might be tempted to try another location… big maybe. I know this is a similar model to chipotle so can we get some kind of assurance on the ingredients used as a toppings?!?
