I love Tortas! Staff is awesome, the food is great, and everything is always super fast. We are definitely regulars at this point — there isn’t anything I’ve tried that I don’t like.

Got a pollo crunchy taco. Wasn’t amazing but good munchie food next to the tavern. Nice that they deliver to the tavern for free. Beer and Mexican food always nice. They guy that took our order was a little rude though.

When delivering this place always FORGETS parts of the order, then they refuse to bring the item or offer a refund. Do not order delivery from them if you want the entire order you paid for.

Came here twice in the last week to have some Mexican food as it is my favorite. The first visit was pretty good I had a quesadilla de asada and my only complaint was the lack of meat. Today I returned for an asada burrito, and to my surprise the same. The food had good taste but I felt I payed for a rice and bean burrito. The little meat it had was tasty. The against they have are Horchata which was great and tamarindo. I will not be giving this place another shot unless as a last resort. I’ve seen other reviews complain about the amount of meat also so I know I am not alone…

I stopped by Tortas Mexico for a quick bite because i was dying of hunger from working all day. I ended up ordering a breakfast burrito which was decent! I didnt think much of it except that it was satisfying my depraved stomach of its food requirement.
That burrito ended up carrying me over for the next 12 hours.
There must be something in there to help you get through your day. So maybe if we need to go to war, i will get another one of those so i do not have to eat for 12 hours and be okay.
HAHA.
The burrito wasn’t good nor was it bad so i have very neutral feelings towards it. I would eat here again if I am in the vicinity and super hungry to the point of fainting.

Since I’ve made my first post, I can say that I am now a regular at Tortas. I go there so much that the staff already knows what I’m going to order lol. I almost always order the exact same thing, the chicken burrito and the vegetarian taco. The chicken burrito is always moist and flavorful. I also LOVE the vegetarian taco, this by far is the best veggie taco that I’ve had in LA so far. Also, the salsas are pretty great too, my favorite is the verde salsa.
Long story short, I really like going here for some tasty burritos!

Um. No. These are not Mexican hard shell tacos. These are Taco Bell tacos. And they charge 2.60 each!!! I can get two for a dollar at jack-​in-​the-​box.
They call themselves «authentic Mexican-​style.»

Another day, another unexpected find in the midst of a strip mall.
This place has so many good things going for it. Starting with the fact that it is never crowded. In the several times I’ve been here, I have yet to see it packed. The food is great, not exceptional, but very good. Not to mention there is a huge selection of it. Tortas, Enchiladas, Burritos, Tacos, (Even some «American» options), they have it. If you’re disenchanted by divey, hole in the wall type establishments consider delivery. But on the plus side they have some interesting salsas that are actually hot.
Personal favorites are any of the tortas, (can’t really go wrong there) and the carne asada burrito. Rice and beans are always a must go as well, if that’s your forte.
In short, will it absolutely blow your mind? No. But, it’s cheap, quick and tasty and definitely a place worth returning to.

The mexican food here is great and super authenthic. I normally get the carne asada tacos with everything on it. The food tastes like what you would get from a taco truck which is a compliment because tacos from taco trucks taste better to me than tacos from a restaurant.

Terrible. The tortas carnitas sandwich is a joke and very unimpressive. Tried this place for the first time and was waiting for over 15 minutes when there was no one else there. Why are they SO SLOW. Subway or literally any other restaurant could make this sandwich in a blink for cheaper and way better with flavor. This place lacks customer service and speed. Expect to wait about 20 minutes or more for a simple order like 2 small tortas. What a joke. I like to support small businesses but not ones like this. Never going back here again, sorry fellas but you’ll need to really speed it up or get some quality ingredients.

I ordered posole and the meat was tough and old aside from the stew being greasy and not enough hominy.
I’m very disappointed usually I don’t leave negative reviews but for what I spent it totally wasn’t worth it.

I recently used a 50% off coupon and ordered the enchiladas ranchero. They were delicious. The restaurant is located on Ventura in a shopping center snuggled between a bar and a massage parlor. The inside seats about 10 people max but is seemingly very clean and well maintained.
There is a parking lot with free parking but it’s snug. There is additional street parking so either way parking shouldn’t be too big a hassle.
The services was great. I called in my order and it was hot and ready when I arrived. The guy was courteous, respectful, and professional.
The only reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars is I think the pricing is just slightly high. My enchiladas ranchero was $ 9.99. But I’m willing to pay a slightly higher price for good food.

well let me tell you friends TONIGHT! Tonight will be the last time that happens.
my girlfriend had a, no joke, shard of metal in her taco. not like a little tiny one that could go unnoticed. THIS THING LOOKED LIKE A PRISON SHIV! okay maybe not quite that big but def. big enough that if swallowed would have seriously hurt her. I saved the metal piece, called eat 24 and they basically told me tough luck, which I understand I did throw the food away so how would they know if I was telling truth. BUT I AM TELLING THE TRUTH! so please for your own safety order Mexican food from another place.
