Extremely delicious! First time trying their burgers and I give them 5 stars!!! Clean environment, and delicious burgers and fries. I think I would prefer eating here compared to In N Out and Habit burger. Environment is totally different and the products used seem to be of high quality! Everyone must try!

Great burgers, great fries, clean shop, friendly staff and who doesn’t like peanuts? Never trust anyone with a peanut allergy… just kidding but I had to pad this review a bit.

Great food the only downside is the music, everyone doesn’t listen to rock, it’s loud and you can’t have a decent conversation with the person next to you.

I was very impressed with my first visit to 5 guys. There were a lot of options to choose from(and yes I always have questions), and the guy taking my order was very helpful and very patient! I thought that a regular cheeseburger would be to much for me(since it is 2 patties), so I went with a little. It was the perfect size! I added some bbq sauce on it. It made it very messy, but it tasted great. The packaging could be better :( Their burgers remind me of the burgers that you get at a family bbq. Outside seating is limited, and it was too cold inside for us to sit, so we ended up eating at another location. Would definitely come back. … oh and unlimited peanuts are always a bonus :)

A love affair that never ends! Five Guys and I first met in Northern Virginia and haven’t left each other’s side ever since. Well, for a short time when I relo’d from NoVA to L.A. …and then came Five Guys in L.A., they missed me so… any more time apart would have been a travesty of the worst kind. LOL A fun place from the minute you walk in. Torturous to go when hungry and having to sit through that short but seemingly never ending time to cook those ‘two patties’! Fresh, all kinds of toppings, totally appetizing! …and then there’s the fries! Freshly cut, nice and crunchy on the ends, soft and hearty on the inside… how a fry SHOULD be. :) Clean, red and white(red’s my favorite color), the folks are totally friendly and they make sure you’re satisfied while you’re dining. To top it all off they have the fun soda machine where you can have tons of different flavors. I love the peach lemonade, strawberry’s not bad either. Eat outside and people watch or inside and feel the vibe. Street parking or lot parking in the back. Bathrooms nice and clean. A great experience all around. The love affair now continues… back on the East Coast. Shall we?

Came here for the VERY first time only because I had to pick up some bagels for an event we’re doing tomorrow right next door. So I’ve been starving ALL day, it’s 4:00 p.m. Why not have a burger? I came in, the cashier(Elpidio) & the cook(the young man with piercings & tattoos) sorry I forgot to ask his name! Shout out to them for being so helpful and kind with my first experience! The burger was delicious. So much flavor. The fries? TODIE for. I loved it. I will be back, probably to this very location bc I had such a good experience. Definitely recommend. They come around and check up on how you’re doing and ask if everything’s okay. So thank YOU guys, for being patient, explaining the menu, and wishing me a great day. You don’t come around that type of customer service often.

Good food, but expensive. It’s be better if they had real iced tea to drink. The staff is pretty great. The music is way too loud.

No, NOPE, No way. I was so ready for a big O burger– came to me with bun cold to touch and cheese not melted– just wasn’t any flavor to the couple bites I took– Got 100% refund and moved none.

As my favorite fast food burger place, five guys’ll trademark is indisputable consistency and quality that no other five dollar burger joint can offer in Los Angeles. Yes, even better than inn n out! Get the tiny burger which is actually just one patty, unless you cooked up an appetite. They also provide free peanuts as a great alternative than fatty fries :)

Amazing burgers, amazing service. The management here is great. The managers are also really cool. Salvador is very welcoming, and knows how to lead his crew. The food is always consistent, and never made wrong, which is great considering how many options there are. Quickly becoming my go to place for a good burger. A damn good burger and fries combo. Check this location out, you’ll find a new favorite. Tip: try a simple cheese burger with hot sauce. Hot damn that thing is good. The hype is real guys.

Pros: + Super savory and delicious cajun fries + They serve Ginger Ale + Tasty Burgers Cons: — Parking is annoying! — Inconsistency between chains(had a great experience here and a meh one in a chain in El Segundo) I know it is a fast-food chain, but I think these burgers are pretty damn good for being fast food(at least at this location). Also, I LOVETHEIRFRIES! I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with everything on it and their amazing cajun fries and really enjoyed the meal. The cheese was melted all over the patty which is how all cheeseburgers should be, but sadly a lot of fast food places can’t even get that right. I also love that they have those cool soda machines with a bunch of different sodas on a touch screen because those machines always have Seagram’s Ginger Ale. Keep in mind that I love their cajun fries because they are very well seasoned, although I know many people who don’t like their fries that salty so be warned. At this location they also play good tunes! Had my tasty burger and fries while listening to Pink Floyd. Cool spot for lunch.

I visited this Five Guys on the Southwest corner of Ventura Blvd and Coldwater Canyon with friends while attending a taping of Big Brother last summer. I have to be honest, it was a little confusing getting in here in spite of the Unilocal directions attempting to guide us. The signage is quite visible from the street, yet we drove past it once or twice before figuring out how to handle the parking, so let me give you an insider tip. For the most convenient parking, turn off Ventura Blvd onto Coldwater Canyon. Turn into the center, then look for the sign that says self park or free valet park. We ended up parking some distance away and walking through the whole little center. Once you finally arrive, the décor is a bright and cheery red and white, much of it in a checkerboard pattern. The feeling is a little industrial with the ductwork out in the open, but still finished as the ceiling is painted black and the ductwork a deep red. Red and white overhead lamps dangle from the ceiling like little alien flying saucers invading Southern California. «Take me to your fry cook» Whoever designed the décor in these stores has never heard of the word«humble» The walls are covered with signs announcing that Five Guys Burgers is the best at this or that. Talk about blowing your own horn, but at least we have something to look at while you wait for your burgers. WARNING: If you have any sort of peanut allergies this place could easily be the death of you. There are large open boxes full of peanuts in the shell that you are welcome to help yourself to for free,(woot! woot!) but that also means that there are peanut toxins blowing around freely so if you’re at all allergic they’d be hard to avoid. People tend to throw the shells around so the floor is not exactly«eat off the floor» clean if you know what I mean. FYI they also cook their fries in peanut oil so while they are RATHERTASTY those are a no-no for our peanut allergy friends, too. There is a sign on the side of one of the peanut boxes that says«DUETOPOSSIBLEALLERGICREACTIONSPLEASEDONOTREMOVEPEANUTSFROMTHESTORE» Have we really reached the point where our society is so litigious that peanuts will have to be regulated like hand guns? Do I need a CCP(concealed carry peanut) license to bring one of these dangerous nuts out in public? There is a Coca-Cola Freestyle soda machine inside which guarantees you can have just about any soda flavor combination you wish. Seriously, they advertise that there are 100+ possible combinations of sodas including a number of syrup flavors. My eyes light up and my little heart skips a beat every time I walk up to one of these bright red monoliths. Now, down to the important part — the burgers. They are hot and juicy and oh so tasty. None of those skinny cardboard looking and tasting burger patties here. What makes the difference? Well, they use only fresh ground beef. They don’t even have freezers at their burger joints, only refrigerators, so the meat has never been frozen. I should warn you, though, that the REGULAR hamburger comes with two patties. I forgot to warn my lunch companions and they were quite surprised when their burgers had two patties and mine had one. Yes, when I ordered I specified I wanted the SMALL burger which comes with only one patty instead of the regular burger which comes with two. Five Guys Burgers claims that there are over 250,000 ways that you can order one of their burgers, considering the fifteen different free toppings that are available, but I beg to differ. The ONLY way to order one of these tasty meaty treats is with jalapeño peppers and bacon. Okay, you can add ketchup or BBQ sauce but my do not forget the bacon and peppers. You’ll be doing your taste buds a favor.

It was disappointing to come to Five Guys and there were only four guys working when I came in — but that’s not a big deal. What’s cool about Five Guys is the experience they offer and the friendliness of the staff. On top of that the food is good. The food is on the pricier side(compared to In N Out or other places on Ventura BLVD) — but it is worth it. Also, their online ordering makes it easier and convenient.

I guess everyone is blinded by all the additions to the burger. Once you remove the bun and the ketchup, BBQ sauce the burger looks like the same as a McDonald’s happy meal patty. I got the plain hamburger in a lettuce wrap. The party was was dry and tiny. The only redemption was the Cajun fries! They were delish and they gave me well over the standard cup for the fries. It was more like two servings. Extremely disappointed in the burger at this burger joint.

Not a fan at all. Kind of in the same category as Fatburger, which I also don’t love. Tiny, greasy, overpriced burgers and mediocre service. No veggie burger option, boo. Not a fan of the fries, the cajun is just plain salty. They give you a bunch to fill you up on all the wrong things, one order can easily be split. Quality is not on par with the prices they charge, you can get MUCH better food at In N Out for a third of the price, I don’t get it. Burger is small and greasy, very messy and not in a good way. The bacon soggy and undercooked, not worth the extra money. Service was not only not very friendly, but also very very slow AND got our order wrong, meaning we had to wait even longer, not worth going back.

Five Guys, Four Stars, here’s why… FULLDISCLOSUREONTHEMENUBOARD — Fueled, er running on empty, all day by 1 banana, 12 walnuts and water, it was good to know portion size, calories. Especially since I was meeting my guy for dinner two-and-a half hours later. Went with The Little Cheeseburger(550 calories), «all the way»(mustard, ketchup, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, yummy fatty salad dressing/mayo etc. adding about another 100 calories). EFFICIENCYTHATPUTSTHE«FAST» INFASTFOOD — Before paying, the gal on the grill surveyed diners to get our orders rolling. Five Guys cooks all meat well done, so don’t even ask for rare variations. She then summoned the cashier to collect the damages, albeit minimal. My burger and water was only $ 7.94. Don’t forget the tip jar register-side, Five Guys’, guys and gals work hard! PERSONABLECASHIER — He reminded to grab some peanuts to shell and enjoy while waiting. Boiled version at WLA resto The Nook spoiled me, so I passed. Wasn’t long until my order(note your number on your receipt) was up. FOOD — The Little Cheeseburger is a five napkin(or more) kinda sandwich; well constructed with fresh ingredients within a basic bun, definitely a tasty snack. It filled me up but didn’t stuff. Not as good as my fave Santa Monica’s Shaka Shack’s or The Carving Board’s Chophouse burgers. On par with Johnny Rockets and In-N-Out but way better than my one and done Fatburger experience. Haven’t frequented McDonald’s or Burger King in years so I dunno how Five Guys stacks up to the industry’s forefathers, guessing rather well as they’ve improved on the model! STAFF — Only self-starters work here and nothing but. I predict amazing business careers for these impeccably trained, pleasant, energized young people who kept the store tidy including the well-ventilated pristine restroom and all the while never stopped smiling. PARKING — I was fortunate to grab a meter directly out front but there’s a lot behind the shopping center. Next time I’ll try it to report on fees or such, perhaps waived with validation. Yup, definitely a next time, next time a burger craving strikes…

I needed a different burger for lunch, I was tired of the usual places that I eat at. Walked in here on a rainy friday and stared at the menu. Went with the bacon cheeseburger, no bun so they put it in a tin with grilled onion, grilled mushrooms, pickles, and lettuce with a side of mayo. Over at the fancy drink dispenser I nearly cried when I saw that they had orange Fanta Zero. By the time I filled up my cup(a few times), my order was ready. I took a little basket of peanuts with me and went on my way. When I got home I started with the basket of peanuts and then opened up that little folied cover tin, I was greeted by a beautiful cheeseburger. The bacon was tasty and the cheese melted and gooey. The mushroom and onions were good but the onions were slightly undercooked. Over all I enjoyed my meal and appreaciated the friendly service.
