I’ve totally been here before. However, I hadn’t been in a while. I usually would order breakfast here but think time the shrimp salad was calling me and boy did that taste light and amazing. The way they grill their shrimp is just right. The strawberries and blueberries were fresh. The blue cheese and walnuts added a kick to it. Overall, I was satisfied with my salad and honestly I’m going to go back on Saturday just for that salad. The customer service was great but they didn’t have any lemon left outside by the water. I was pretty bummed and was lazy to go inside and complain. I love lemon water, super important while I’m eating. Yay see you guys soon, Aroma!

They’ve been offering gluten free bread for a long while, which has been much appreciated since I had to succumb to the gluten free diet for health reasons. The bread is more delicious than before and their gf dessert options, when they have them in stock, are so good! My fave is the chocolate banana muffin! The service is always friendly(Mo, Carla, Tandis, Sergio, Brian, Alex, Travis, Flor) and management is top notch!(Moira, Brian, Monica) and can’t forget about the amazing bus boys(Miguel, Sal, Victor & Israel) LOVEYOUAROMA!

Love the ambience and the vibe. It feels very upscale but relaxed because of the house like interior and the outdoor patio seating, it feels very comfortable. I love their hand baked daily fresh cakes, their drinks are fresh and sweet and their delicious curly fries!

I love the«homey» feel of the restaurant. I went for my first time at a high traffic hour and yes I was that customer that had a million questions to ask(sorry) but the employees were very patient with answering my questions. Service was great and the food is delicious. I really liked the latter here!

I am in love with the food at this place! I had the most delicious burger ever. My husband always gets the Grilled Shrimp Salad which is amazing! Portions are generous.(It looks like a tiny place but there is tons of seating all around the outside perimeter. (This is what the Alcove in Los Feliz strives to be but fails in my opinion.)

This restaurant café is amazing. The décor, the ambience, the tables, and crowds are extravagant and trendy. Parking, on the other hand, not the easiest to obtain but completely doable. The girlfriend and I came here after a long day, and found a small line around the restaurant. I ordered an iced blended white chocolate double shot, while the girlfriend got a chai latte. Both came quickly. As for our meal, I ordered chicken and prosciutto panino with avocado, and a crab cakes sandwich. Both delicious and served in generous portions. Will come again. Just not too often, because it will take a toll on your bank account lol.

AHH The service was so much faster than NYC café’s! Even though the place was so popular, I’m so glad the line wasn’t long. Their food was great especially the salmon thing! The shrimp salad was good. They gave soo much fries. Ambiance is super PRETTY, its like a friend/group date place for brunch to meet up. I loved our spot, sitting all the way in the back with the red umbrellas and trees that look like oranges are growing out of them :) Was a great intro to our first brunch in LA! Great service, we kept asking for like boxes and more water, but they’re very helpful(:

Okay, so here’s the thing… This place is so cute and cozy. The tea that I got was good, and the service was great! So why did I give 1 star?! I’ll tell you why… Realistically I would want to give 5BUUUUUUUT– The day that I went it to this lovely café it was so packed, so a dear friend of mine and myself decided to sit outside. Well, while I was enjoying myself with my delightful green tea on such a cold day out in LA, I happen to come across MANYUNWANTEDFRIENDS!!! There were ROACHESCRAWLINGUPANDDOWNTHEWALLS!!! It was DIIIIIIIIIISSSSSGGGGGUUUUSSSSTTTIIINNNGGG! I literally almost fell off my chair! I got so freaked out and couldn’t enjoy my drink or where I was sitting in fear that one of those damn critters were gonna get on me. So hopefully they fix this! Cause they need to fumigate or take care of this creature problem because one things for sure, last thing I want to even think of, is if I’m eating something crunchy– my minds gonna think that I might be eating some of those roaches! Yuuuuuck! Please fix the problem! Would love to go back but not until I know this issue has been addressed properly.

I have only been a few times but this place is always busy so it must be pretty good. I love the outdoor seating and the coffee was delicious and rich. Need to really spend more time here but I can never get past the gelato place down the street to make here for other goodies.

Stopped in for quick breakfast run. My friend had an omelette and I enjoyed my salmon and cream cheese with an onion & cheese bagel(that was a mouthful). The salmon was moist, fresh textured like butter. The capers were not salty at all. The bagel was incredibly soft, but man was it buttery. No doubt, it was fresh! Seating was quite tight in the patio area with random tables and chairs that were situated along side one another. The heating lamp was a plus. I didn’t have a chance to see the inside seating, but my friend said it seemed cozy inside. Staff are friendly. Metered Parking along Tujunga. Top dollar for breakfast. Great food!

Yum! I’ve been here twice and both times they haven’t failed to keep up. It’s a VERY busy café kind of like urth café if you’ve ever been. But better! MUSTTRY the bread pudding muffin warmed up. It’s so good I ate half of it alone! It is easily shareable up to 4 people it’s really big. I also got a cinnamon vanilla iced coffee that was so good. One of the best I’ve had actually. The server recommended both of them and I got to do some work while enjoying an afternoon treat. I will be back for sure

I feel like this place is as much a place to go to see and be seen as a place for good food. The number of vegetarian/vegan-friendly options match the number of celebrity sightings. Food is delicious and comes in giant bowls and plates. I got the jerk chicken salad and it was delicious. My companion got the vegan breakfast platter and that looked good too.

This café is so cute and quaint. It is a pleasant surprise in the heart of North Hollywood. I’ve been coming here for years and every time I am as surprised by the beautiful ambience as I was the first time. The albacore tuna sandwich is the best I’ve ever had. It is served warm with Dijon mustard and the ingredients are fresh. I ordered it with ciabatta bread and it comes with a small side salad. The balsamic vinaigrette is amazing. A very healthy option. The curly fries along with the salmon salad are very good too. The salmon is grilled to perfection and it is flavored well. Also, their tea selection is phenomenal. The iced green tea is so refreshing on a hot summer day. It is naturally flavored with peach. I highly recommend this place to all of my friends in LA. It is such a beautiful place with amazing food. I would definitely take advantage of the outdoor seating area. It’s a cute little garden with shabby chic décor and tea lights.

I have always had a sweet spot for café’s and sugary substances. When I heard a couple of years of this spot, had bookmarked the joint. It wasn’t until recently when a friend and I were wondering the streets of the valley that we hit up this place. Its located in a small shopping community that’s very hidden, who knew these little spots existed on Tujunga. This area is mainly residential, kinda dig the seclusion away from busy Ventura Blvd. As we entered the place, the trees are light with white Christmas lights. There is a small outdoor patio in the back and side. Whats really nice is the interior with a home like feel. There is a dining room with tables, has an eclectic style. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Gazing through their menu it is similar to its sister restaurant in Los Feliz. One thing I do miss is the bar, who doesn’t want a drink with sweets. But thats fine for the alcoholics, too much good stuff can be bad for you. There is an abundance of street parking, nice perk of the valley. This spot seems allot more laid back and quiet, its not as raucous which would be a good spot to read or write up an outline for your next big idea.

Came in on a Sunday for lunch, it is a beautiful place. It’s one of those where you order up front, get a number and they bring it to your table. Love the portion sizes, a lot of bang for your buck. The guacamole is ridiculously good. I would say it is the best guacamole I’ve ever had and they give you a great amount, it’s good for a group of 4. I got the burger which was delicious! Great place for a lunch or even an alternative to Starbucks. Will be back soon!

Very popular restaurant. During dinner time, long line waiting. You order your food at the counter. The waiter will deliver the food to your table. It is a big restaurant, lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. Very cool place to hang out. The Service: 2 staffs behind the counter taking orders. They are very efficient. If you are ordering drinks, pastry or pick up only, there is different register(shorter line) for that. The staffs will pass by the table picking up dirty plates. But since there is no assigned server for each table so you need to try to get their attention if you need any service. The Food: BLT sandwich — with sourdough bread. The bacon is super super super crispy! The avocado and tomato are so fresh. Perfect texture! One of the best BLT sandwich I have ever tried. It comes with one side order. $ 10.95 The Parking: Street metered parking(very challenged to find a spot!) Residential area behind the restaurant. Some street can park 2 hours till 9pm. Some street can park 2 hours till 6pm. Read the sign carefully.

This review is long overdue. I have been here so many times, I have lost count. It’s quaint, comfortable, and feels like you are having a home cooked meal in your grandparents house in the best possible way. Right down to the jars of pecan pie! The baked goods are amazing sitting in the window begging for attention. Espresso drinks a plenty are served up fresh and hot nearly all day. The menu boasts some of the best crafted salads, and breakfasts which area made fresh everyday. I have admittedly only had breakfast, and salad but if those are any indication of the rest of the menu, then there is clearly not a bad choice available. It’s a great place to sit and relax especially in the back patio. Pricing is fair for the quality of food. Espresso is good enough to go out of your way if you want to pick one up because they also have a separate drink & pastry line! What could be easier. Treat yo’ self!
