3 stars for the Beef and Green Beans(best green beans on the coast) Pork Fried Rice and Beef Lo Mein,-2 stars for the most miserable, no personality, no sense of humor, most boring male bartender EVER!

This used to be our«go to» restaurant for Chinese food but I honestly don’t know what is going on there anymore. We brought home take out last week and that was the last straw for us; the pork strips were rancid! As soon as we opened the box we were hit by the smell of pork that had gone way past its prime. If that wasn’t bad enough, the chicken wings(that used to be superb!) were dry and tasteless. Actually, everything we ordered seemed like its was just sitting around the restaurant for HOURS. Our family will not go here again.

crappy food. wrong order. waited forever for the food. way better options in the area. don’t go here. I’ve eaten here on multiple occasions and it’s been disappointing every time. don’t waste your time and money; it’s not even that cheap, it’s pretty much the same price as everything else in the area.

After waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for our delivery with no apology from the staff or delivery driver. Food was cold and mushy. Not good.

theres a saying, only pigs eat at buffets. so if you want to stuff yourself and then feel lousy after you ate, don’t blame the restaurant. the food here is really good when its hot, the steam table isn’t keeping the food hot at times. anyone that eats raw fish shouldn’t complain about how bad the food is. been here many times and will return that’s for sure !!!

Totally disappointed. Stopped in for the buffet and while it was stacked with food, the lights on the tables were off. After making our selections and bringing them back to the table we realized that the food was cold and the tables had been shut off. We really wish they had told us in advance and we gladly would have ordered something off the menu. They allowed several other people to order the buffet after us and they looked as disappointed as we were. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Chinese food is slightly above average as it is made fresh but nothing out of the ordinary. The buffet for lunch is good and the best item on the menu in my opinion is the General Gau’s chicken which is exceptionally good. Good if you’re craving chinese food and is worth it if you’re in the mood

It just isn’t the same anymore. Sesame Chicken used to be white meat, Chicken teriyaki was breast meat, Vegetable lo mein was flavorful and saucy and I could go on. All that has changed. Chicken is all dark meat now. Lo mein is dry and tasteless. Avoided the buffet for that reason thinking take out at a higher price would be of higher quality. Nope. Im sad to see a place that I visited often, no longer an option.

Updated review. 2÷1÷14−3÷31÷15 The buffet is better than it used to be. I took a few months off from this restaurant and after giving it another chance I was very satisfied. I now go to the buffet at least once a month. Glad I decided to try it again.

I come here not for the great taste, but because i’m a pathetic human who craves an great all-you-can-eat deal. Is the food delicious? Sort of. Greasy, fried food lends itself to plate after plate of servings. Great fried Chicken balls, crab rangoons, and teriyaki chicken skewers. The General Tso’s is ok, and the fried rice is nothing to write home about. Also: every time after I gorge myself on food, I inevitably get sick. I suppose that is equally my fault, but this is moreso the case here. The desserts are passing at best – they got rid of Pistachio Ice Cream, and their cream puffs are essentially flavorless. That being said, I love seeing how much I can eat in one sitting, and pushing myself to the limits of food consumption. For that reason alone, I will return.

This place has great Chinese food however if you go there for their buffet and if you order delivery the food is different. I like their delivery food quite a bit more than the buffet. The delivery is actually super fast. The interior seems to be showing signs of age however it’s comfortable. They do have several nice big TVs there however there turned all the way down with no closed captioning so forget about hearing anything on the television. They do not serve coffee for some reason. The staff seems attentive to your needs however not overly friendly. Overall I would recommend eating at this place my wife and I order out from here at least 2 times a month.

Food is quite good but not consistent. Got take out numerous times and the chicken and steak teriyaki and ragoons are much smaller than what they serve at the buffet. The buffet is pretty quality but they have not had the fried shrimp the past few times so I hope they are not starting to cheap out or the place will lose business quick.

I waited at the bar for my order to go. Definitely a local scene. The music was blaring and the people at the bar were having a sing-a-long. It’s was fairly entertaining. I got lo mein and Szechuan chicken. It’s okay but bland, it just doesn’t have any flavor. I’ve had the sushi before, the spicy tuna was great. The eel was alright.

Went for an impromptu date night & we really enjoyed ourselves. The scorpion bowl was very strong & came to the table on fire(which I hate, because they are burning off the sweet sweet liquor, but it was pretty). We split a large house fried rice,(chicken, shrimp, pork & veg) a seaweed salad, and a pupu platter for 2. Everything was tasty and fresh, and they seem to have updated to interior décor. Would definitely return

I haven’t actually been in the restaurant so much as the bar– but the quality of the food shocked the hell out of me. The drink specials in the bar are super inexpensive. The waitstaff is wonderfully friendly, polite, and fast. The Japanese food is GREAT. The quality of the sushi is really, very good– and most sushi places I’ve been here are just… unfortunate. Certainly not the case for JP! The Chinese food is tasty, but whenever I’m here, it’s really for the Japanese food(and drink specials). I do recommend stopping by the Jade Palace!

SUCHGOODSUSHI. Also lunch buffet is awesome. They wait staff is ONTOP of it considering it’s always so busy at lunch. Best exotic drinks too! Décor could be updated but honestly I could care less because it’s such great and fresh food! They have coloring pages for kids and high chairs. On your birthday they bring out complimentary dessert!!! PS there is a candy bar and the hostesses are so sweet. My fav!

Don’t judge the book by its cover is how I describe this place. As we sat down and surveyed the place, we thought it would be a typical Chinese restaurant due to dated design and location. I was very surprised when the food came out.

The wait staff is rude and doesn’t care. The food is substandard and was probably previously frozen. The décor was worn out long ago. The dishes are chipped. The tea cups are stained. No ones standards are this low.

3.5 Stars. Really good food. Not gourmet or anything, but you can pretty much count on a good meal every time. Although the PuPu Platter is always a great option, they also have good Moo-Shoo Pork and Dumplings.(Their Bok Choy is real good too.) Staff is attentive. Restaurant has wear and tear. Could be cleaner. Overall: a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
