Best Chinese food around! Always consistent. My husband and I have been coming here since we found this gem, and we haven’t stopped coming since. Wish they delivered!

Been coming here for years. I eat here at least once a month. Egg Fu Young is my favorite. They’re gravy for it is the best I’ve ever tasted. Veggie fried rice is another favorite of mine. Everything here is delicious. It’s the best around.

I can’t figure out the negative review either. Open kitchen concept is awesome, first off. The chicken fingers were the best I’ve had at any Chinese place. The Lo Mein was awesome, the broccoli with garlic sauce was cooking perfectly and they gave you great, big portions. I was actually extremely impressed and happy to make Jade Garden a regular spot for dinner! Even the soup was killer!

Work in Newmarket and had to run a couple errands at lunch and figured I’d stop here. Won’t do that again! Terrible General Tso’s Chicken. Tough, chewy, no flavor(not hot like it should be either) and practically all batter. Pork fried rice was bland, crab rangoon was just ok, have had much better. Threw most of the meal out, waste of $ 7. Oh well, I should learn and just stick to a PB&J from home! Oh even the fortune cookie was stale!

cant figure out whats with the bad reviews… ordered the sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and crab rangoon, and an order of pan fried dumplings on my way home. was ready when i got there 10 – 15 mins later. everything was hot and fresh, great flavor and great crunch to the rangoons. lady at the counter wasn’t talkative and was clearly all business, so i guess if you’re looking for a more personal experience then it might not measure up. as for me, i just wanted to get in, get my food, and go, so that was fine with me. good prices too. nothing to complain about here!

I’m puzzled as to how Jade Garden has such positive reviews. Only out of our desire not to travel out of Newmarket to get take out brought us here last night. Ordered egg rolls, House Lo Mein(x-spicy) Hot/sour soup, and x-spicy Orange Beef. Disappointment began right out of the bag with NO hot mustard. Who does this? Unfortunately the egg rolls needed all the help they could get and the watery duck sauce alone couldn’t help them. Lo Mein was greasy but tasty. Hot/Sour soup was OK for me but my wife couldn’t eat it because she had the Orange Beef first(her favorite Chinese dish) and couldn’t get the bad taste out of her mouth. Little orange flavor and very thick slices of mystery meat(not a solid piece) with an equally mysterious 3″ piece of papery or plastic ribbon that we’re still attempting to determine its origin. Not a pleasant experience to say the least.

Best and maybe only chinese place in Newmarket? Pretty good chinese food. My favorite chinese is Orient Pearl which is in Epping so this beats traveling 15 minutes to and from Epping. Only annoying part is that you can’t pay with a card under $ 10 so I find myself ordering more than I should or want to.

I stopped in at Jade Garden for lunch. This basic Chinese takeout place is very cozy, which is order at the counter with a few tables for eating in. For lunch, I ordered the L11 Shrimp Lo Mein($ 6.25 plus tax) with Pork Fried Rice and Appetizer(I got 2 beef teriyaki sticks). The food was set to go in under 10 minutes. The portion size was just right for lunch. The lo mein dish had plenty of very soft baby shrimp cleaned, mix of scallion, carrots, mushroom slices, cabbage, onion, sprouts, tossed with soft noodles, slightly greasy. The pork fried rice(gold) had a firm texture with a mix of tender roast pork cubes and chopped onions(slightly cooked). The 2 beef teriyaki sticks were slightly chewy and had a sweet flavor. I finished my lunch, which was overall good.

Fairly cheap, extremely greasy, but I’m very glad that it is open later than most restaurants in town and is pretty consistent.

I think this place is under rated. You can tell as soon as you walk in that this isn’t some«high end» restaurant. They crank out good Chinese food. I’ve eaten here a bunch of times over the past ten years and never had a complaint. It’s good, quick, and reasonably priced. The only complaint I can think of is I wish they had at least one duck dish on the menu.
