Went back to Nikki’s! While the décor is still very much an issue, same posters hanging in the frames, the customer service and overall excitement of the place was on a totally different level.
I said previously that if the end game was to keep a few barflies in then good job, but the place was lively and exciting for a Sunday night. I will definitely be visiting again!

Just left a tip. Cold food and slow service. Not my cup of tea. I will not go back. Too bad because McCoy’s was quite the opposite.

⁵⁄₂ Saturday at 1:30…Stopped for Lunch with my wife and sat at the bar which was full, Bartender seemed new and a little slow but we finally got our drinks and ordered nacho’s to start…20 min later no nacho’s, Bartender kept on checking with the kitchen and said there coming rite out, sorry for the delay and it will be worth it. Another patron (appeared to be a regular) comes in and sits at the other end of the bar. After 15 min. he get’s a plate of food, we’re still waiting for the nacho’s. 20 min. later the Nacho’s arrive, Cheese on top appears melted but as we attempt to dig in only the surface is melted, everything under it including the chili is cold and flavorless, at this point lunch is a disaster, I asked for the bill for our 2 drinks paid it and left. I think an experienced Bartender would have not charged us after this awful experience but i tipped him for his service anyway… If they plan to be open for awhile somebody needs to correct the problems in the kitchen…

We sat at a table. Wait staff was prompt to take our orders, maybe too prompt as the kitchen was closing. Drinks came reasonably fast, good size cups. Food was reasonably good for low end dive bar type food. The wait was a little on the long side for sure. Not a place to come to primarily eat from what we saw and tasted. One problem was that we never had a waitperson ever come back to the table… never… not for 2 hours… so one of our party asked for the check so we could get the heck out of the place!
They can’t be making rent… not now, probably not ever.
BTW, loose the poser biker dude type and unkempt employees. That just turns people off.

Four of us stopped in here the other night after the maiden voyage of the boat this season. We just wanted a few cocktails and a quick bite before heading home. This place was perfect. We sat at the bar and ordered beers and cocktails. The service was quick, beer was cold, drinks were well done. We had a few orders of the chicken wings. Made to order so it it took a few extra minutes to come out but it was worth the wait. Done just right. Not too messy and the barbecue sauce was really good. The Yankee game and NBA playoffs were both on the TV’s at the bar. We ended up staying until the games were over. The owner came over and said hello and the bartender (Denise) was right on top of things. Very relaxing atmosphere and friendly crowd. They also have tables outside which is nice. We will definitely make this a regular stop for the crew.
