Great host. Cozy, simple atmosphere — felt like a living room with a nice fire place. Pizza was quite good — probably 8⁄10 for pizza. A little off the beaten track which was nice.

I give them 5 stars for going the extra mile — literally! We ordered a company lunch for a meeting and they forgot to put one sandwich in the order. As we were realizing it they called and told us they were going to run it over to our office. That’s how to make a wrong, right! We are were so appreciative!

Great pizza and excellent Italian food at reasonable prices in a charming converted one-room schoolhouse with a huge fireplace. We arrived hungry just before closing time. We were the only folks there but the owner was very gracious and stayed late to make sure we didn’t leave hungry. We had pasta dishes and nice fresh salads. The food was delicious and what’s more, affordable, which is unusual in Stowe. The place is really a combination pizzeria, bakery and convenience store that sells beer & wine, milk, etc. They make their own dough and fresh baked goods. Located on the«short-cut» between Mountain Road and Rte 100 S to Waterbury. Definitely worth the visit. We will be back!

Fast & friendly service. Pizza prices were reasonable, pizza toppings were fresh. Crust was the best I have had so far in Vermont. Salads seemed pricey for the small size, however, the buffalo chicken one I bought was well made and fresh. Easy to see how they stay in business!

Never knew this place was here. Great place for people looking for a fast grab on the go en route to 89 or wherever. I ordered a calzone — not greasy, not too big, just right. Even the guy was very friendly. Thought it was odd I was the only woman there. Good place for construction workers or trade men to stop in? Not a lot of seats…

Great pizza and a very friendly staff. Off the beaten path but worth the drive. I would recommend this to anyone who asked where to get good pizza. I live in the detroit are, where most pizza comes from chain restaurants. This is definitely better than that. Cant beat farm fresh and handmade.

Simply Mouthwatering… Having lived in NYC for the better part of my life, I can honestly say that Jim’s pizzas rival any of the top Pizza joints in NYC. I was so impressed that I visited the Pizza Joint twice on my short weekend stay in Stowe. For those looking to get a taste of Vermont, local hospitality and darned good pizza, there is none better than the Pizza Joint.
