Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Very disappointed going there to eat. Salad bar was a mess, tables were not cleaned off even while no other customers where there, food was on the floor and tiled areas needed to be moped. Food wasn’t even worth the price we paid. We ordered hot wings and they were the kind you just buy from the store in a bag and heat up yourself. The pizza wasn’t even good. Had little to no pizza sauce. Paid $ 60 for just 15 piece hot wings and the largest mountain pizza with 4 drinks. Never again will we go there to eat!

I have ordered pizza from here about 7 – 8 times now. Their delivery times are estimated at 45 – 60 minutes, but every time it has taken nearly 2 hours. At the 1.5 hrs mark I called the store and was told that the driver just left.
I live at most 10 minutes away.
35 minutes later the driver called me directly to say he is on his way and would be here in about 15 minutes.
I don’t like being lied to, and I don’t like waiting 2 hours for my delivery for a single pizza. Unacceptable service. I’m still waiting right now…

Awesome pizza First time we have had this place and we are way too much! Omg we loved it. It was our sons birthday so we splurged and now it’s all we are going to get for our pizza fix. We got Hawaiian and then classic pepperoni. We loved that their pepperoni is the small pepperoni, kind of spicy but oh so delicious! The girl that helped us was very helpful when we let her know that we’d never been there and she even told us that they have a deal when you buy two.

(07/​30/​2015) We always order delivery and had excellent service. When it came to dining into the restaurant it turn me off big time. Don’t get me wrong Pizza is always delicious. I will never order again from this certain Mountain Mike for what I consider poor service as far as the health issues. My student and I had a class there and couldn’t believe when we walked in there were several tables unclean, then of course you can see some parts of the kitchen while ordering and that wasn’t clean. I’m like if you expect people to come back always stay on top of everything. We even had to ask one of the staff to clean a table that we wanted to sit at. I live in the area near this Mountain Mike and was disappointed to see such a unclean restaurant. There shouldn’t of been no reason for the place to look like that. There were three staffs on duty as I can see and then of course they had some repair guy doing some work in the game room. It Only take one to clean tables. As far as the kitchen goes after finishing making a pizza you should be on the ball with cleaning behind every mess you make. This is one of our favorite pizza company but not this one. Still giving the one off of Marada lane and the one in Manteca high five for the great service we have always had with those two Mountain Mikes we have attend to. This one will not be getting our service unless they can show some high improvement.

The service was good. They were on time and the pizza was hot. The only issue that kept me from giving this normally great pizza chain a 4 star rating was that the sause just seemed a little bland, I tasted like it was missing something. I like a zesty pizza sause and this time is seems like it were from a can of plain ol sause.

called a day ahead to deliver pizzas and sodas for a work function. people on the phone were friendly and patient. they showed up on time as promised. good food. soda was cold.

Worst customer service ever. 1.5 hours only to tell me that driver just left and when I call to for a comp discount or to cancel they offer at best a $ 5 discount to a $ 35 bill. NO THANKS! Never again will I call here for a pizza unless it was my last option for food.

I really like Mountain Mike’s Pizza, certainly prefer it over Round Table. My only gripe is the thin crust is like cardboard. Seriously! I thought they were mistakenly giving me gluten free, but after ensuring they understood I wanted «thin» and not gluten free the last 4 orders, same issue. I used to order from them at least once a week but have since gone back to Round Table until they can get their thin crust recipe fixed. I’ll have to try other locations to see if this issue is with this location only or if all of them have this horrible thin crust.

Placed a phone order at 11:15 am requesting a 12:25 delivery time. It’s 12:53 right now and my stomach is growling as if to say «Mountain Mike’s, you suck!»

The pizza was worse than Donino’s. The crust was like chewing on rubber. Mountain Mike’s needs to find a new dough receipe. Oh and when you order extra cheese then put the damn cheese on the pizza. Horrible food.

Very nice people and service even had pitcher on the house. Pizza is great !! Bathrooms are clean drove in from Chino Hills for work. Nice to be in a great place girls at cashier very polite !!! Definitely will return when in town !!

Mountain Mike’s has given me delicious pizza and wings over the years (especially the wings), but they really demand top-​dollar these days. A large specialty is $ 24 now, and with a side of wings and delivery, that’s almost $ 40. Pity I can’t order from them as much as I did as a bachelor; it really is difficult to justify the price now.

Easy to explain. God awful pizza. Tried the lunch buffet. Salad bar is a 3 star. The pizza is horrible. The pizza sitting uneatten because its nasty was there 30 mins later as we left. Pizza jerky is what it had turned into. Its bad when there are 12 people in a place wIting for a pizza to be served thats not hours old. I small pizza with tiny peperonis was served in 30 mins. I can honestly say I have eaten pizza at 500 plus places over the years. This hands down the worst ever. No Parm cheese or red pepper flakes. Pathetic pizza place.

Great pizza, just pricey

I’ve been for the lunch buffet twice. The pizza is fine, but it’s the slowest Mountain Mikes I’ve ever been to. I’ve got 30 minutes for lunch, and I should not have to spend 18 of those waiting for a new pizza to pop up at the buffet… I thought the first time was a fluke, but it wasn’t.

The foods okay. Mountain mike’s about a good ten blocks away from where I live but some days I just don’t feel like driving. So I ordered delivery twice and both times it took them about an hour to deliver… I get better service from pizza guys.

The service here rocks! My husband was a smart ass and put a special request that they draw Gandalf on the box and they actually did! Totally awesome and friendly people! Good food too!

There pizza is pretty good and consistent with other Mountain Mikes. The only problem I see with this one is the area. I am tired of coming out of this place and have some dude asking me if I want to have my car windows cleaned and asking for change. Don’t ask me for change President Obama has been promising all of us Change. Since then I always order to-​go or have it delivered. I would have rated it higher except for the Food 4 Less parking lot issues and go there when it is light outside.

The pizza is decent but why is it that every time I want a pizza delivered they never have a driver? We usually end up calling Domino’s cuz I refuse to go to that shopping center after dark, unless I have my b/​f and his gun with me. Even then, I always leave there irritated because they are so freakin rude! It’s bad enough that I’m risking my life walking around Weston Ranch after dark, but now I have to deal with some 16 year old bitch with an attitude? HELL NO! I will stick with Domino’s.

EDIT 06÷29÷08 — hoshit! Jose P. is right… someone got bitchslapped and all is good. WTF??? OH, just to let you know, there’s another Mountain Mikes in Lathrop… mmmm good stuff people! I’ll adjust my rating to add another star so now there’s a total of three! Also, the delivery driver is really awesome! GIVE HIM A GOOD TIP $$$!!
EDIT 04÷16÷08 — Haha! The old owners sucked so bad… now they’re under new ownership! Let’s hope the service is better.
EDIT 10÷26÷07 — I think hell just froze over because they are now accepting credit cards. Either that or they saw my review. LOL
The folks at this particular Mt. Mike’s have horrible customer service. They’ve monopolized on the fact that they are the ONLY pizza place in Weston Ranch. However, once the Towne Center is built, and they build another pizza place there, it will at least give these guys some competition.
Let me give you a few examples of their service:
1) The don’t take credit cards for delivery
2) Orders often have wrong ingredients
3) Orders that are called-​in are sometimes missed causing a delay
4) When these issues are brought to the manager’s/owner’s attention, they just scoff
We obviously continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now we go to Eric’s Pizza and don’t mind having to drive a little further out. There’s also another pizza place I’d like to try out in Lathrop.
You may have better luck with these guys but look for an alternate place just in case.
