El Tarasco Taco Truck

I loved this taco truck. I used get a supreme carne asada burrito for $ 5. Pretty filling, nice seasoningn and it was huge. Then they put the price up to $ 5.50 for a supreme anything (nachos, burritos). The burritos didn’t seem as full as they used to be. I noticed less meat & beans. I was a little mad but still went at least twice a month. Now it’s $ 6 for a supreme anythinf. I understand everyone is trying to make some money but if you’re going to charge $ 6 for a supreme burrito, make it a supreme. There are plenty of other places in Stockton with bigger burritos for $ 5. Now I have to find another truck

How can anyone eat at this taco truck? The carne asada is full of fat and good has generally no flavor. not recommended.

Visiting the boyfriend’s parents back in Stockton so we decided to stop by here. The tacos used to be so good, but our meat tasted old and my pastor was oily and seperated. I had expected way more. My boyfriend said his asada was dry also. We’re just going to continue bringing our business to the taco truck on Hammer Lane in front of Lowe’s.

Cant go wrong with this taco truck. Their tacos are awesome. Authentic mexican food. I’ve been here several times and the taste is consistently good.

Quality of beef is great, I love how they grill it kinda «crispy-​ish» and not too oily either! The sauce is of perfect spice with crunchy pickled jalapeño and carrots.

Tacos should be the state dish and this Taco truck should be the one that all Taco trucks look to for food guidance (is that a little over the top?) I have been faithful to this Taco truck since my days in high school and being away in the Bay for 5 or 6 years in college, I always crave it since there a little to none taco trucks in SF (blasphemy!). I love getting the carne asada tacos with the mild salsa, onions and cilantro and the workers have always been pretty kind. Check it out, you won’t regret it!

I’m a taco truck PRO. This is Hands Down the absolute BEST TRUCK in Stacktown! Super Boss carne asada! You can even get cilantro without getting onions! (Usually they are already mixed.) Do yourself a serious solid and check this place out! Right across the street from 7 – 11 on the north end of Pacific Ave.

Favorite taco truck in Stockton, this one and the one off walmart on hammer lane. I tend to come here tho more often then the other one. Well not much to say about a taco trick tho there all over the place out here but in my opinion this one is my fav.

A few days ago one of my coworkers wanted to come here for lunch. I really don’t eat that much from taco trucks anymore, so I said «let’s go».
On my first visit I ordered a chicken Supreme burrito for $ 5.50. What makes it a supreme they add cheese and sour cream. For the price of the burritos they’re straight fat. Just the right amount of beans, rice, chicken and hot sauce. Plus a nice amount of cheese and sour cream.
When I arrived at work with my burrito, I couldn’t wait to try it out. I took a couple of bites and all of the chubbiness started oozing out of the tortilla lol.
Tip: make sure you keep the foil surrounding the burrito. Or else it gets messy and all over you.
Note: I learned the hard way. :)
My second visit I came by myself for lunch. I ordered a regular $ 4.50 Asada Burrito and a $ 1.25 Pork Taco.
The pork taco was pretty good, I should have ordered three and left out the burrito. My asada burrito was off the hook. I squeezed some lime and added a kiss of salt to it. I took one bite and said «Hell Yeah» «This is the bomb». I couldn’t even finish half of it and I saved it for my dinner.
Tip: If you’re on a lunch break eat with caution. Because you will want to take a nap or don’t want to work no more.
Note: Speaking from experience this happened to yours truly.
I really do like this place now. It’s probably my go to spot now for this type of food.
So yeah I’ll be coming back very soon.

Great burritos. But lately they’ve missed the mark. They rose the prices to 5.50 for a super burrito and it seems they lowered the amount of meat inside of it. They raised the prices across the board. Also they haven’t been paying attention to the order. They missed putting asada in my son quesadilla and even after I asked for jalapeños and the cook said he put the in the bag… guess what. No jalapeños. But I’ll keep going back because their burritos are better than most.

Awesome tacos, I go to the Tarasco taco truck on main st though, they’re always consistent, fresh and warm. I order the carne asada tacos and one cabeza taco. The burritos de asada need some salt or more spice their kind of bland. Other then that I love these tacos.

Pollo/​Asada mix Supreme burrito… NOM NOM NOM NOM. Almost as good as Beto’s Taco Truck

Great food! I’ve tried just about every meat they offer and have not been disappointed. Not only do they have great food, it’s very close to my job and even if it wasn’t I would make the drive. Burritos or tacos you can’t go wrong. The carnitas are my favorite, nice flavor and crunch from the flat top.

The best taco truck I have visited. Ingredients are always fresh and the salsas are excellent. Just great.

Best Burritos ever! Go for Adobada regular w/​spicy salsa. Super burrito status and cheese are unnecessary. Meat, Beans, Rice, Onions, Cilantro, and Salsa is the way to go. Tacos are amazing too! I have been to at least 60−75% of Taco trucks in Stockton and countless others outside of the 209. This place is the BEST!!!
I am dying for my favorite Mexican food being in Arcata, CA (Humboldt county) for college. They cant make good Mexican food. Its also hella expensive.
I miss my countless options for great Mexican food back home!!!
