Customer service nightmare! The way I was treated by the employees I’m shocked they still have people coming to buy food.

Ordered wok n roll and had the worst customer service experience of my life. It all started when I placed a simple take out order with several items. First they called back to say they ran out of string beans even though they didn’t mention it when I initially called. So, I asked for them to substitute the items. One of the items I asked for was plain white rice with chicken only. I made this very clear when ordering it (the person who was going to eat this has allergies and can’t have anything on it). So when I got home and opened up all the items, I found chicken fried rice instead of white rice with chicken. I called back wok n roll and they said that they would send out the correct item for delivery. This seemed like a great solution that I would have appreciated and been very happy with. After an hour and still no replacement item, I called back and the man (the owner) who answered the phone was very rude and said they had called several times to try to reach me. I asked him what number they had been calling and he would not answer me. I said I found it difficult to believe that they had been calling me when he couldn’t even tell me the number. At this point, the owner began yelling on the phone saying I made him angry by calling him a liar. Although I never directly said he was a liar, he most certainly is. I ordered wok n roll the night I moved in here 16 years ago and will never eat here again. In 1 order, their horrible service turned a huge fan into someone who wouldn’t recommend their restaraunt to my worst enemy. A piece of advise for business owners: don’t tell customers you are going to do something when you have no intention of following through with it.

Tried this place out after a friend of ours raved about it. We are totally puzzled as to why he raved about it. It’s one of the worst Chinese food we ever tried. The eggrolls were dripping with grease, the beef in the pepper steak and the beef lo mein were pale and super soft, had a pasty texture. Did not taste good at all. It seemed like mystery meat to me to tell you the truth. Will not go back.

Below average food. It wasn’t the worst Chinese take out I have ever had, but not good. The spring rolls were awful, the fried rice was kinda weird. The beef mei fun was not bad. I would not eat here again.

the last time i was in there, the one kitchen worker was eating something out of one of the plastic containers that they put things like soup and sweet and sour sauce in.
when she was done, she turned it over, tapped out the crumbs and put it back on the stack.
i pointed this out to the guy running the register and he told me i was mistaken.
bull!
i stod there waiting for my food and watched her.
i wont be back

This place is strictly a take out restaurant. Food is ok, but not great. This is your traditional Chinese food establishment, with lots of battered fried foods. Won tons at always too fried, too done for my liking. Establishment owners not very friendly, always working the register. They don’t take Amex card here, so just beware and bring cash or visa. The other Chinese food establishment on Rt 22 offers buffet and much better food. And the other place takes Amex card.

Just moved to the area. Just ate tonight for first time.
Shrimp Roll: small and bland
White Rice: Small grain, tender
Beef and Broccoli: Beef was a bit pale looking, but VERY tender. Broccoli was aldente.
Steamed Dumplings: (Qty: 8, not 6!) Not overly doughy. Good. Sauce it comes with was good also.
Kitchen appearance: Was good. More open than most. Felt clean and organized.
Pleasant service. Ordered on a Wednesday evening.
Ready and hot in 15min as promised.
I will try this place again. Unfortunately I’m comparing it to my last place before I moved here. (check out my review of ‘Lucky Star’ in Bloomfield, NJ) If my view changes I’ll let you know.

I truly have now found the best Chinese food in town. Moved out here from the city life where I miss having that quick access to all kinds of cuisine.
I have tried most of the Chinese food in my area. Very displeased. Always drove pass this area and see Wok and Roll, so decided to try them out. The food was not too salty, oily and was fresh. They take instructions well also as I like my food extra spicy and setup a certain way to enjoy it. There is always a smile when greeted. The place seems clean from what I can see. They handled the food separate from the money the way it should be. I like that. But, you know you don’t always get to see every little thing lol.
The food was great, our family have really found a good Chinese restaurant FINALLY:-))))

This place is ok, ordered some nice dishes that were generally OK too eat.
If you are desperate for Chinese in the area try and find somewhere else.

I guess after more than a hundred take out orders in 15 years I should provide some review! Definitely the most consistent Chinese take out in the area. We almost always get a quart of hot and sour soup, very good. House special Lo-​Mein very good as well. Just about anything they have will satisfy. The kitchen runs very smoothly and you can witness the extraordinary teamwork! Owner is great guy as well.
