China Grill Buffet

My husband and I like this place but it gets really crowded on weekend nights. The sushi is always fresh and the Mongolian grill is too. It seems like a good place for families with young kids because the prices are so reasonable and there are many non-​Asian choices for the fussy eaters. I’ve always found it clean and the service is decent. The food constantly turns over so the stuff in the chafing dishes don’t have time to get dried out. The choices are somewhat limited (hence my 4 and not 5 star rating) but what they do have is good as long as you’re not expecting ambiance.

The food here for a Chinese buffet is average at best. No particular dishes are special in my eyes.
The food includes the usual chicken, beef, shrimp, noodle and vegetable platters etc. They have a limited «sushi» selection that only has California rolls and Salmon rolls (with a ton of rice in them). In addition, they recently took out the hard ice cream and only left the soft serve ice cream so that’s another deduction since they did not lower the price.
The service is so so, and the last time I was there they actually swiped my credit card for the wrong amount on the bill, watch out for that.
There is apparently a new buffet opening within the same complex. Hopefully it’ll make this buffet step up their game a little bit.
Nice isn’t too bad for lunch/​dinner, so if you are looking for a cheap meal, this place can work.
