3^rd time I have been here for ice cream and 3^rd time they messed it up
Ordered a butterfinger blast last time got caramel time before that cookie dough and this time banana and by the time we get home it’s to late to go back and say something it’s unreal and annoying ! Had to throw out the ice cream with banana in it because I hate the banana taste in ice cream… Can you get your act together this is the last time should have went to Ralph’s by my house! They don’t mess up orders!

Got yelled at by the girl taking my order from the drive threw.
Her attitude was outrageous. When I asked to speak to the manager about the situation she just rolled her eyes and said «you are not the first person to complain about her today.»
(Ummmm send her home maybe?)
Then the girl is behind the manager talking crap to the other employees about me.
All because i said «new blast shake» and that is not okay! Because blasts and shakes are NOT the same.
I then call that out to the manager and the girl walks over to the window giving me a nasty attitude, I gave my food back and took my money then proceeded to cheeburger cheeburger.
How she has a job there is amazing!
She gave me a death stare as a left.

I’ve been here a bunch of times in the short time it’s been open. Normally for small things like a kids meal for my son as I tend not to eat a lot of fast food. However multiple times that I’ve been here they get the order wrong but I am been chalking that up to it’s a new location and they have new staff. However the most maddening thing that they do at this location is leave all the lights on including the sign that says drive-​through open until 1130 12 o’clock A.m. while they are cleaning up. So you as a consumer, you think they are open you pull in to get something and they completely ignore you. I am literally describing knocking on the drive through window to see if they are open or not and they won’t even turn around. All they have to do is turn off the sign above the drive-​through window that says drive-​through open and nobody’s going to pull in there expecting them to be open!
This literally just happened to me 10 minutes ago and it must be the third of fourth time– they don’t understand if they keep treating customers like this there won’t be a sonic at this location very long

Service was good, felt bad for the car hop being the only person, she was going insane, the food came out fairly quick. But expensive for nothing. Sonic is not what you see on TV. If you plan on having stomach pains for hours after and being very thirty than its for you, but this will be my first and last time to a sonic for food, maybe will go back and try the shakes/​smoothies but as desert only. The only convient thing is it was open late and you can pay from your car but still not worth it.

Overpriced! Inaccurate order, crappy food which comes out cold & greasy as hell. Milkshakes are sickening! I cant imagine how they manage to screw up a simple vanilla shake, but it tasted so phony & synthetic that I threw most of it away. I don’t expect this place to last very long.

What you see on tv is not what you get. What they don’t show is the next 3 hours of stomach pain and agony for why the hell did I eat here!

I went there with my family a couple of months ago when it first opened up. We were very disappointed with the food. For starters, the food came out cold. The food was really no better than what you would get at a McDonald’s dollar menu. On top of that, it was very pricey. We all got burgers, fries, shakes and paid close to $ 40.00. We could’ve went elsewhere and gotten much better food for less. By the way, eating in your car is highly overrated and not to mention very messy. Somehow, I pictured that it would be nostalgic like the scenes in movies from the fifties. Not really!
As for the service… Well it’s basically a bunch of kids that are looking to make some extra $$.
Can’t really fault them for the lack of attentiveness and customer service.

This place was way overly hyped. The food is pretty good but wasn’t worth the hour wait when it first opened up. The wings are really good tho, get the bbq and avoid the garlic one, trust me. The shakes are always on point too really good and the staff is really nice.

Open late which is always great. The server was friendly. Food was ok, not great. Some things were over-​fried like the onion rings and cheddar poppers. Sonic is one of those places you must try at least once but you will probably regret it. Most of the delicious items are fried and you will feel like shit after. I really don’t know what’s a worse feeling the morning after drinking or the morning after sonic. Still I always come back!
P. S. Get the cherry limeade!!!

I must be addicted to Sonic because whenever I get a chance I come here. Considering we just moved to Staten Island it’s much closer then going all the way to Jersey when I get the Crave!!! So I’m happy to have it near the neighborhood… For the food, you can’t go wrong. Yeah its greasy but what fast food spot isn’t. I think I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu except for the wide variety of drinks. I usually get the ultimate super sonic burrito and cheddar peppers. Not to mention the coffee witch isn’t that bad, it has a very bold taste. If you ask me my favorite fast food spot is definitely Sonic. If you never been to one … Shame on you lol, Start the search and believe me you won’t be disappointed:)))))

Although there’s a sonic a few minutes from my current home I couldn’t help resist the temptation to try sonic for the first time on a recent trip back to Staten Island. After all the hype it had to be good…
Nope, hype was wrong. We ordered a little bit of everything so we could sample some options. The onion rings were pretty greasy and had no flavor to almost a sweet flavor. I half wondered if someone accidentally dropped nerds in the fryer. The French fries were the worst I’ve ever had. They were cold for starters and seemed stale, like yesterday’s fries stale. The burger was okay but if you’re going for fast food Wendy’s or McDonalds would be a better option. We also ordered the bacon cheese pretzel hot dog. It was almost painful to taste. The hot dog just tasted funny, the bun was soggy, bacon is bacon so at least we had that. I ordered a birthday cake shake and couldn’t even drink it. Mind you I’m a sweets person. As a child you’d find me eating sugar packets at the restaurant if left to my own devices. The cherry was good though. And from a service perspective the girl at the window noticed they didn’t put sprinkles. She ran back and added them herself which was very thoughtful– she really earned them back a star for the food would only get one. The slushy was honestly what made me want sonic in the first place and it was okay but not what I expected based on the commercials. I had the lemon berry with pop rocks. There were some frozen ice chunks at the bottom that were annoying but otherwise I’d say the slushy was good. I wouldn’t make a trip just for it though. I know fast food is not good for you but I feel the need to mention that although we didn’t finish any of these items in entirety I drank a liter of water immediately afterwards and woke up feeling queasy. I’ll have to double my jog map today to make up for a not so worth it meal.

Place is garbage, service is garbage, managers are garbage, they can never get the order right and begin to blame you for the order saying you lied about the order you made?! Manager came out of store just to yell at us over his shit service. (We dropped our drink by accident, manager thought we did it on purpose? Delusional) Is 0 stars possible!!!

So the hype has calmed down and you can now order lunch from here without waiting in line from the night before. The staff is very friendly, respectful and professional. That’s all I can say good about Sonic. The burger, although had a unique taste, was dry. The patties seemed like they were made and left on the grill to stay warm. The plain tater tots were good, nice and crispy. The loaded tots… Not so good. I wanted to like it but just can’t. Just another typical fast food joint. I put Sonic somewhere between Burger Kind and Five Guys.

They gave my Son rotten expired apples with his kid’s meal. Then when we asked for a fresh one, they gave another rotten package. They have expired food but the place just opened? Good god, I cannot understand that. The burgers are tasteless and dried out, tater tots are so greasy and do not taste good at all. Even my limeade sucked. Super long lines… Absolutely not worth it! This place makes Burger King seem like a 5 star restaurant. I was trying to find something good about this place but I just can’t.

McDonald’s is like a gourmet restaurant compared to this place. If it last’s here more than 6 months I’d be surprised!!!

First time here and ashamed to say this place was a bummer wasn’t as expected :(first off I ordered my meal and it came but the whole burger and fries tasted like wax like really really fake. Next problem the service was very slow I waited 26 mins until I got my burger then it got worse my sister ordered a cheeseburger and they gave her a burger with no cheese so they told us they will bring us a fresh new one 48 mins later nothing I went to the front and then they started making it when they made it they gave her a burger and cheese no lettuce and tomatoes like she wanted we had to wait again… Next thing wrong with this place they do not offer refills on drinks nor do they give you cups of water they told me that it’s $ 1 for water ??? It’s suppose to be free everywhere where do you get a dollar from it makes no sense this place the service wasn’t how I expected and I was very displeased with my service I won’t be coming back and I have traveled from queens Woodside to here and it was a disappointment sonic is not for me …

I told them no pickles and they still add pickles
I have been waiting for almost a month to try this place and my first experience was BAD
I have read several reviews stating the order was totally wrong
I did not believe them
I believe them now !!!
I even took pictures of my food and receipt to prove my statements

Ok so they clearly over worked themselves… i get it… theres a drive thru, a restaurant and a drive up and eat spot… we had to wait 20+ mins for our food which wasnt the issue… it was the food… (the shakes however were awesome)…i ordered a #11 which came with a ton of tater tots …1 onion ring. and 2 fries… literally…what took me back was the burnt smell… i looked at my chicken and smelled it… as im doing that, my family noticed the same thing… all of the chicken smelled like charcoal… unacceptable…look once again, i get it… you have a ton of customers… but you just dont sacrifice quality just for quantity… worst $ 40 I’ve ever spent at Sonic…

Wow moist crunchy chicken strips (extra crunchy) onion ring. Sheer non greasy fried food. Onion ring was so hard and crispy. In a great way. My pineapple milkshake was so very good
