Should be a national landmark! Best Italian Ices in the world and even better service. Smiles all across the board

I absolutely love Ralph’s ices! The amount of flavors they have is just amazing! My only complaint is that they have no sitting area. Bringing home a kid with melting ices isn’t the most enjoyable experience. But other than this, a definite must for the summer time!

The ices are creamy and not so sweet that it makes you want to drink a whole bottle of water afterward. Just tried their new toffee bar crunch flavor, which was really good! And the jellyring and mocha chip are always staples. They also have really good sundaes drenched in hot fudge and peanut butter or marshmallow sauce if you want something a little more decadent. The lines can be long but it’s definitely worth it, especially after you’ve eaten at Denino’s across the street.

A Staten Island staple that always manages to come out with fresh flavors. I had the vanilla peanut butter this time, which was a harmonious juxtaposition.

Toffee bar crunch ice cream was deelish! Wish there was even more toffee bits mixed in! Warning to any first-timers: there are LOTSSSS of flavors options for water ice, ice cream, cream ices, on top of having the options of shakes, smoothies, twists, combos of desserts. Go there with a flavor craving in mind. If you’re someone like me who’s incredibly indecisive trying to always formulate the perfect decision of craving satisfaction + not indulging too much + not missing out on the«fan fave» of Unilocal… this place will for sure make you overwhelmed with all the options lol.

A gem on the island! And the employees are friendly and always give you more for your buck. They just pile scoop on top of scoop on top of scoops!

Best ices around. Nothing comes close to being a Ralph’s Ice. A Staten Island landmark.

I was very disappointed to find this place closed after having dinner at DeNino’s. I’m from out of town(California) but try to make it to DeNino’s and Ralph’s when ever I’m in town. I was thinking it must close for the winter but it seems like plenty of people have reviewed it in the last few months. When I go to the website, it doesn’t show this location. What is going on?

A wide variety of flavors that make a beautiful summer day even better. Ask about your favorite flavor and the answer is always the same –EXCELLENT! I enjoy the original simple flavors, chocolate and lemon, because that is what we had when I grew up. Thinking back, as good as they were, Ralph’s is better than anything I had as a child. So stop by and give it a try. You’ll probably see me on the line ahead of you.

I used to live around the corner so Ralph’s was our favorite spot to walk :) You can get everything from soft serve to their famous water and crème ices. This location is the original and they sell flavors here that you cannot get at any of their franchise locations. If you go at peak times the line can be in the street. A small size is pretty big. We always get the kids scoop which is one large scoop. This place is cash only!!!

A culinary landmark of Staten Island, Ralph’s extensive menu presents overs 150 flavors. From the favorite classics — vanilla, chocolate, cherry, and rainbow — to the fun and adventuresome selections, such as Mai Tai, Peanut Butter Fudge Pretzel, Carrot Cake, and Linzer Tart — there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. Even the small size comes with generous scoops, and will leave you more than satisfied on a warm day. While they also offer thick, indulgent milkshakes, sundaes, and classic soft-serve ice cream to appease your inner-child, the majority of customers leave with a cream ice in hand. Options include sugar and/or fat-free, so there is no valid excuse to be skipping dessert here. There is a parking lot on the side of their free-standing shoppe, but every spot can be taken on a busy afternoon, where customers will often stay to enjoy their ices to the last bit. Finding residential parking nearby, however, should not be an issue. Ralph’s is a surefire way to keep you and your wallet cool.

Ralph’s Ices are my absolute favorite on all of Staten Island! So creamy, SO delicious and very affordable! I’d choose Ralph’s over Baskin Robbins or Cold Stoned or Luigi’s Italian Ices any day! My favorite flavor is Spumoni! TOOGOOD!

Dropped by The Original 83-y.o. Ralph’s while waiting for a Denino’s slice to be ready, and strollers took over lines, with parents cutting without saying anything. Fortunately the staff were so friendly in dishing out the decent ice cream pecan pie sample. It hurts to do this, but their ice cream just doesn’t compare to their ices, and it hurts me that they even offer it, diluting their reputation. Ended up with the mediocre chocolate hazelnut and kit kat… no wonder they’re known for ices.

Amazing! From the day it opens to kick off summer, the lines don’t stop. The cream ices are so good and the options are endless. I like peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter cookie dough, rainbow cookie and my favorite is mint chip. The staff moves quick and will allow you to sample their crazy flavors. Anything you order will be good. The lines can be very long and it’s cash only!

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Crème Ices here are one of the greatest frozen desserts ever created. Ever. I used to go to Ralph’s back in the day when there was only like one in some random place in Long Island that I forget and one in Forest Hills, which I used to hit up semi-daily for a pint of that good stuff. Seriously, a pint in one sitting. After coming to one for the first time years later, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is an even huger menu of every possible flavor imaginable now, both of the icy and creamy variety(I don’t mess with that icy nonsense though). Not only are the crème ices so good they make you forget about wanting to eat ice cream, but they give you an insanely huge portion for a ridiculously cheap price. Never one to a order a small(which is just $ 2), I opted for a medium(just $ 2.50), and it was HUGE. Even I would have been fine with just a small. They are super generous with the amount of ices they stick in that cup. Come to Ralph’s if you want the best tasting, most satisfying and most economical dessert you can hope for.
