Place absolutely SUCKS. An hour and a half wait to get our food and the food was horrible too. Do NOT make the mistake going here!

Food was horrible, service was worse as waiter was 100% clueless and overall one of my worst dining experiences ever. Even if it’s free I would recommend to go somewhere else.

Went back tonight (5÷13÷16) and had great service and the manager Ricky showed how much of a stand up guy he really is… Thank you for the pleasurable experience tonight and I will be back with my family

I was never a person to write a review, but after my experience I had at this Outback, the Unilocal world needs to know, how great this place is. We had low expectations for the food as we walked into the restaurant.(due to it being a chain) the steaks are absolutely amazing. Fresh, big, and delicious. (what more can you ask). My child has a gluten allergies, they HAVE A GLUTEN FREE DESSERT… WHATTT!!! the service was amazing, which is hard to find in staten island. What a fun night out. This is a must try

First I worried about all the negative comments, but I had to find out that they were all unfounded.

I always frequent outback but tonight the management is not present I waited over 1 hour for a table @ 5:00 other people came after us & were seated before us. I went to hostess desk 3 times & finally asked for a seat & was asked if I called ahead of time? I was already there an hour & a girl said as soon as I clear a table in the mean time there were 2 tables cleared & empty there is No excuse for that POOR MANAGEMENT!!! also I make jumbo lump crab cakes & they looked good on menu «great photography» & ordered them they were nothing but breadcrumbs all filling Disgusting!!! Don’t fool people who are paying for good food We r not stupid & pay good $ we r better off cooking at home but we like the comfort & trust of going out but it’s beyond disgraceful how you deceive the public

I love outback! It’s by far my favorite food chain restaurant. I love their outback special medium rare, sweet potato, and broccoli. My husband loves their quesadillas. We have gotten many appetizers there’re throughout the years and had their delicious bread and butter. I don’t really have any complaints. The service is sometimes slow when it’s very busy but overall love the place!

My family and I stopped by for dinner on Halloween, after trick-​or-​treating with the kids, and to celebrate my brother-in-law’s promotion. It was a big party so I don’t recall what everybody else ordered, but I will speak for my own experience. I ordered an Outback sirloin, medium rare, which comes with mashed potato and a side, for which I selected sautéed mushrooms. Firstly, our orders took approximately 40 – 45 minutes to arrive. Secondly, when my order did arrive, it looked like a frozen piece of microwaved beef. I touched the sirloin with my fork to get a feel of its texture and knew immediately that it was not cooked to my preference. It was way, way overcooked. Not only that, there was no char whatsoever and all I felt from one gulp was roughage in my throat, like I was eating a fibrous strand of dry veggie. I’m not one to complain much, but I have NEVER had a piece of beef this bad before, at a STEAKHOUSE for that matter. I decided to complain to the waitress, who said sorry, and walked away. Whilst being confused and slightly furious, I took a picture of my plate to post in this review. At the same time, the waitress came back and told me that my new steak will be there in a minute. In about 10 minutes, my new steak came, charred and cooked to my liking, but with too much pepper. If they can cook it to perfection the second time around, why didn’t they do it the first time? Well, regardless, I’m never coming here again.

Where to even begin. Every time I come to this Outback I experience terrible service but today was of epic proportions.
Our server was Kelly and she was rude, checked out and inattentive. It started when we ordered our drinks. We were sitting near the bar area so we could see when our drinks were made and were ready to be served. We waited and waited and Kelly never served our drinks. She came and took our order, and served our appetizer before our drinks were served. They continued to sit there. My boyfriend had posted something to Instagram right after we ordered our drinks so we checked the time and 23 mns had passed since we ordered. I had to remind her of our drinks and when Kelly finally got around to getting our drinks we saw that the bartender had to re-​shake them and add more ice. So, what we received was water downed drinks which is incredible disappointing especially when you are paying $ 10 a drink. I would normally be understanding but the restaurant was dead, it was 2 pm on a Saturday.
Secondly, when our food arrived she was not paying attention in any way. While she was serving us she continued to socialize and talk with her coworker across the room. There was no interaction with us or acknowledgement when she gave us our food. I wanted I ask for a side of A-​1 for my steak but Kelly left so quickly I had to wait another 10 mns for a chance she might appear again. When she dropped off the A-​1 was the only time she stopped by during our meal. She never once asked how everything was or asked if we would like another drink. My boyfriend and I had to flag her down to order another drink. The whole experience took incredible lengths of time because Kelly was simple never around.
I normally always tips a standard 20%, but since our experience with Kelly was so horrendous we only tipped 5%, and I do not feel an ounce of guilt.
I love Outback, but sadly my boyfriend and I will never return to this location.

Absolutely disgusting ! The server was condescending and had excuse after excuse for everything from the bread to our main meal. Dinners arrived ice cold and we were offered to have them reheated… No thanks Lobster tail and filet mignon reheated ??? The Blooming onion
Which we ordered 3 of were not cooked or battered the way they should be It was just a disaster! Thank you Outback for ruining my nieces 14^th birthday celebration !
NEVER AGAIN !

This place gives Outback a bad name. I don’t know what it is about SI but chains that are good everywhere else seem to come here and flop.
We went to Outback at the beginning of the Steak and Unlimited Shrimp, so we were expecting a bit of a crowd. We were not expecting to wait 20 mins for a salad, then over 25 mins for our food to be served, with no sign of our waitress. Other couples that sat at the same time received their check and left before we got our entrees. When we asked a different waiter to find out where our food was, he told a manager who then waited until we were served before checking on us. The waitress finally came back and asked if we wanted dessert… um, how about a second serving of the unlimited shrimp?
The whole thing was easily enough for me to decide that I’m not going back there. If I want Outback I can go to NJ, if I want steak there are plenty of better options on SI.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I think they take every thing in the kitchen and just cover it with salt. Steamed lobster tails should not taste like it was drenched in salt but mine did. Steamed broccoli the same. Friend ordered her steak med/​well, the first time it came out rare sent it back and came out med/​rare, sent it back again and they finally got it right. Come on it says steak house on the name of the establishment and they can’t cook a steak properly. As for the service good luck finding your server after you put in your order. Sat at the table at least 30 minutes before I got the glass of water I asked for when we sat down. You couldn’t pay me enough to ever go back to this restaurant. Anyone reading this and still plans on going good luck! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Purpose: Friend’s Birthday Party
Ordered: 22oz Rib Eye Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Steamed Broccoli. (Medium Rare)
Taste: Good, but it would of been amazing if they had a variation of sauces. Heinz 57, A1 and Worcestershire? I was expecting Jack Daniels, Bearnaise, Hoisin, Sweet Baby Rays, Kansas, Sweet & Hot… I can go on for days.
Environment: Quiet & Country. Not diverse as the nearby neighbourhood. It could of been a bland day but we had to find another place to get drinks. Baseball games… on… every… television… screen.
Waiter: My waiter (Lewis) was very passive aggressive and impatient. I understand that having a group of eight is overwhelming, but if the manager was able to introduce himself and be attentive, it shouldn’t be that hard for you.
Will I Go Here Again?: No. When I was in the restaurant I found myself thinking about other restaurants. It was like I was comparing a hot girl with no personality (Outback) with a cute girl with a great personality.

Good as always! Best steaks at outback! Can’t say anything about that particular spot. Just a regular outback. Good service, friendly staff, food comes quickly. Big parking lot, even though it was a Saturday night we found a spot right away and didn’t have to wait in the line to get in. Craving for a stake again as writing this review lol

I gave it a second try after waiting about a year and it still has not improved. It took two hours for one appetizer and two entrees when it was mostly empty. The Caesar salad dressing did not have the strong garlic flavor I recall. My glass was dirty. The prime rib was okay. The person I dined with ordered meat and it was chewy and tasteless. Come on Staten Island! Try to make one chain with a decent following last! Very disappointed and after two tries that were both similar, I won’t be returning to this location.

I don’t post that often but when I do it’s for a reason. Such is the case here today at the outback for lunch today (good friday) firstly the floor was so slippery While walking in the front door that I almost broke my neck and appears that when they clean the floor it is so slippery it’s very very dangerous. The entire restaurant felt like it had grease all over the floor which made it very dangerous even in the bathroom I mentioned it to the waiter and he just blew it off. Now for the food I ordered the prime rib medium rare and they came out and asked me if rare was okay because apparently they didn’t cook it long enough And I excepted it for that. When my prime was delivered it was actually raw and barely cooked so now the question was do I send it back and have them kill it even more because you know you can reheat prime rib or wait 20 minutes for another piece I opted to reheat it because we were there on lunch break and did not have time as I expected he turned it into shoe leather and my disappointment continued having been there the day before with an excellent meal this was not a good experience for lunch today I also forgot to mention that the lobster tail combination was also undercooked so whoever they had in the kitchen today does not know how to cook. I’m not one to complainhowever we mentioned it to the waiter and expected at least a free piece of dessert nothing we got $ 140 bill and left in disappointment we will now continue to use the Jersey location because Staten Island sucks and the manager was on duty today for lunch does not know how to satisfy the customers and never came over to ask us any questions or talk about our unpleasant experience

I love the outback. Decent prices, good food. The clam chowder is very good and who doesn’t love a bloomin’ onion?

Came here after shopping at Staten island mall.
This establishment’s hours are a bit different than the regular outbacks.
I was feeling a bit sick plus it was very windy outside, so I started with a cup of herbal tea. They didn’t bother to ask me which tea I preferred and gave me the orange pekoe tea with lemon, milk and sugar. I hated this flavor, but oh well. Next, came the a small loaf of German bread and butter. First came the side of House salad
We ordered the Filet* & Grilled Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie (Grilled petite paired with seasoned and grilled shrimp. Dressed baked potato). (780 Calories) 18.99 I added a side of sweet potato fries. I gave the shrimp to my other half and just eat the Filet. It could have been better. My other half had the Outback Special which is (Our signature sirloin is one of the leanest cuts, hearty and full of flavor.) 6 oz. (254 Calories) 10.99 It looked ok in my eyes, but he enjoyed it.
I noticed that when I went online to look at the menu after my visit, they had the $ 10 specials, but they were not present on the menu in the establishment when I went…
