We were out in Tahoe for a soccer tournament and came across this little gem. We ordered the Italian pizza and calamari. The calamari was unlike anything I’ve had before, light, crispy and not greasy at all while retaining a ton of flavor. The crispy noodle garnish caught us a bit off guard, but it was still great nontheless. The pizza was also amazing. Very flavorful, especially the tomato sauce. You can definitely taste the freshness in the sauce which made it that much better. The cheese and toppings(pepperoni and sausage) were also very flavorful, and the pizza as a whole was cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is a deli-style restaurant with limited seating. The sit down service was amazing, the cashier and waitress(didn’t get her name) was very attentive and friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. The prices are also extremely fair and reasonable, no reason to ever go to round table with a place like this. Do not miss this place if you enjoy a good pizza! P. S. They also serve a variety of food such as pasta, salads, sandwiches and burgers. The Philly Cheesesteak also seemed very popular as I saw them ordered 5 times within our visit.

Good pizza, we ordered one of the pizzas wrong but the waitress was nice enough to take it off the bill even though it was our fault

Im a former NY’er… and OMG! I went for the first time. It was afternoon… im hungry… had no lunch… its 2:30pm…figure ill stop at this pizza and deli place… tucked in the back. get a sandwich… Looks like a little pizza/deli place… casual comfortable. I ordered a meatball sandwich… a little pricey… but ok it is Tahoe. well…we’ll just see. Amazing! The meatballs, the cheese, oh and the bread!!! It was huge! Its what we call a Hero back east… I gorged myself, forced myself, and ate the whole thing! My adult daughter had the same… felt overstuffed after half. Definitely took the other half home. We had ordered a cannoli to split when we ordered the sandwiches… oh well… you have to! The cannoli was was a slightly different style than im used to… chocolate drizzle on the plate… nice touch… the pastry stuffing was a little cheesy for me. I wouldve preferred more Marscapone in the mixture and less Ricotta. But thats just a personal preference. There was also coconut in the mixture… i have a severe distaste for coconut. I prefer no coconut and some choc chips instead. So let me just say my daughter polished it off no hesitation. So… it was also good. The young gentleman that waited on us was friendly, attentive, and was very interested to know we were pleased and happy. No Dinner for us tonight… still full!!! The ambiance is little pizza place… the food is not… it is Italian Restaurant quality! the menu has appetizers and dinner entrees too! and they do takeout! Gets a big NY thumbs up! Ill be back! but will it be Chicken Parmigiana or Sausage and Peppers? but… Lasagna rave reviews… and then again… everybody loves a good Philly. Theres also Caesar salad with great reviews. They have a veggie melt… ooh …maybe shrimp Scampi… and pizza of course… theres beer and wine, and i saw spirits. So …the price… felt a little high… but now that i dont have the expense of needing dinner its quite reasonable! 6hrs later and im still full. Highly recommend!

Such a shame. I loved this place but leave it to the space case on the other end of the line to completely push me away. I would suggest you hire someone with customer service experience if you expect people to come back. After I expressed how I felt to her by saying how I felt disrespected and saying I would not order from here again. .. She just hung up. I at least said goodbye.

Wow, what a find. The pizza, a classic thin crust and a great sauce. The house salad was good sized and the house dressing should be bottled and sold nationwide. The bruschetta wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. But the be all end all was the philly cheese steak sandwich! Dripping with cheese, onions, mushrooms on what I believe was a foot long house made roll. The sandwich itself was great, but then the peppers that were offered as a special side sent it over the top. Our waitress was friendly and helpful making this the best experience we’ve had at a pizza/deli in a while; not a rush around but a fun sits own meal. Need more stars …

My family was touring around east of Tahoe and we had just passed Incline Village when our tummies rumbled in harmony. We did not want to turn back to find food. Unilocaled around for something on the way ahead and Asiago showed up in the results. We always strive to find something local and«non-chainy» family run places to eat. Asiago seemed to fit the bill just fine. The place is located in a lot besides an Administrative building on Hwy 50. If you are southbound on Hwy 50, you will not get a visual to this place. A nearby restaurant Agave Azul is more visible from the road, so you may use that as a landmark. Nice clean place inside with the basic seating and the ambience somewhere between a Deli and a full service restaurant. Good music playing inside. Simple menu offering familiar Italian fare and a couple of nice variants thrown in as well. Courteous service. We ordered the Bruschetta, Chicken Marsala, Roasted Ravioli and the Lasagna(thank heavens for that!!) The garlic bread was nice and not overloaded. The food presentation was simple but efficient and it arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. The Roasted Ravioli was interesting and came with some marinara sauce. The Chicken Marsala was very nicely done and served over some spaghetti. Had a unique flavor to it which we have not tasted in other places. The Lasagna … :)) oh well! That is a whole different story! The serving bowl was piping hot with molten cheese and sauce around it. A word of warning … you will not be able to resist that aroma and you will end up eating it before it has cooled down … you are warned. I had to close my eyes after every bite … it was that good! To some, it may be too heavy … but hey … it is a lasagna … if you don’t want heavy order salad! Truly recommend this little mom and pop place if you happen to be around and are seeking some refreshing Italian fare.

We had the combination pizza, house salads and a couple beers and they were AMAZING! Salad and veggies were super fresh and flavorful. The meats on the pizza were also delicious. The large EASILY fed 4 adults and 3 kids with salads. Great prices, great service and even the salad dressings were fantastic. We stuffed ourselves with pizza or the house-made cannoli, tiramisu and brownies would have been in our bellies also. We will be back tomorrow for our deserts This place is a hidden gem for sure! Great prices, great food, great service and nice beer selection all of which was reasonably priced. This place just made our favorites lists and we will be regulars when up here for vacation.

Waited over 45 min for a sandwich. Food was terrible. Sat with an empty drink for 25 min. There were 4 other tables… Not busy at all! Staff wearing dirty undershirts. Place is dirty. Server wouldn’t stop talking about how much he hates the Warriors and would not put the game on. Never coming back.

OMG best pizza ever! Got a veggie and an old fashioned no meat. Perfect balance of sauce and cheese with first class toppings. Crust was very tasty and everything reheated well. Order too much, you won’t regret having it the next day for a snack.

Driving between Truckee and Gardnerville and I was starving! Debated about going down to Carson City and then I remembered there was supposed to be a newer restaurant near Kahle Park. I ordered a slice of pizza and house salad. I would come back for the salad alone, it had olives, green bell peppers, fresh tomatoes and their rather tasty house dressing. The pizza was good, the crust was thin and crunchy and had a nice flavor to it. They’re set up as a combination of a restaurant and deli so it’s not a normal sit down place but service was friendly and efficient. There are several items on their menu that look sinfully good, so I’m sure I’ll be back to check them out!!!

I came here with my family since there were really good reviews but I was extremely disappointed with the service. First I ordered a bruschetta that was completely ignored. Then, I ordered a sprite and got sparked water wich is understandable but just added to the bad experience. I have also ordered a pizza that took a really long time to arrive and I could see other families who arrived later getting their pizza first. The pizza itself was really good and that is why my rating is not lower.

Surprisingly awesome! Ambiance is more like a deli/café but the food is 5 star. The lasagna is a MUST! Best I’ve ever had. For those who know me, know I don’t give these kind of compliments easily. Service is awesome and friendly. Serious neighborhood gem I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was so delicious and the garlic bread comes with to sop up the creamy sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Check it out!

The pesto pizza was a big disappointment: a smear of green sauce under a thick pool of cheese. in a blind test, I wouldn’t have known it had pesto at all. The crust was really bland, too, which demonstrates a significant failure for any self-respecting pizza chef. Flour, water, yeast, salt, and time — and maybe some olive oil. That’s all you need to make exceptional pizza dough. Asiago’s isn’t getting it done. The Caesar salad was a knockout though — grilled Romaine! The cashier had said it was the best Caesar salad I’d ever had(I would ever have had? I was about to have had?) and he might be right. It was great. The dining room is too brightly lit, and looks too much like a cheap cafeteria in bad need of a remodel. I’m glad to have gotten take-out; I wouldn’t have wanted to spend any more time in there. I’d go back for the salad. And I’d try a different pizza in hopes of experiencing the«foodgasm» cited by other commenters here.

What an amazing find! The place is plain but the staff is friendly and the food is amazing. We had a Greek salad big enough for 3 people to share and the super yummy Mediterranean pizza. Loved this place and we’ll be back.

Prepared to get you mind blown… by the caesar salad! It is amazing. Charred romaine lettuce, with a Gallic aioli, egg, tomatoes and some baked parmesan cheese. Think Caesar salad deconstructed. So f@@king good! My honey had the lasagna that was piping hot, cheesy yumminess. That was the second time we tried this place. The first time my honey got the meatball sandwich, delicious and I had the Caesar. The chef is amazing with creativity along with stellar talent! Located next to a postal shipping place, kind Of a weird location and ambience bit the food is absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favor and try it you will not be disappointed!

Omg! Read all the rave reviews and had to check it out. Had shrimp Louie salad(yum) traditional pizza(double yum). Also ordered moussaka and was too full to try it yet. I will definitely be back to try more. The pizza had a buttery crust and was worth the food baby I’m having now. Can’t recommend them enough!

Holy foodgasm! That lasagna should be its own food group. Hearty and so, so delicious. The meatballs, oh, the meatballs! They’re like a flavor explosion in your mouth. I am currently lying on the sofa, in a most splendid food coma, unable to move anything other than the tips of my fingers to type this review. I wish I had taken photographic evidence of the excellence I just consumed, but alas, it was all eaten in a hungered craze… but my mouth still waters just thinking about those savory bites. I am so happy this place is right around the corner from my house, although my waistline may say otherwise :) Staff is friendly. Restaurant is a simple, no frills kind of place, but that’s just fine with me. You don’t need fancy décor with food like this! Cannot wait to try more items on their menu.

Dined here last night with some friends. We had a great time. The interior is basic but comfortable. They have takeout and soon will be delivering. Service was good. We ordered several pizzas along with salads and spaghetti. I tried all three pizzas we had. The crust was wonderful and the flavors were excellent. The spaghetti that my friends had was a lot and they said it was excellent. The salads they had were big tooooooo. It’s only been opened a few weeks so they are still working on ideas for food i.e. winter & summer etc. We will be back. PS they also own the Philadelphia Restaurant and Sandwich Company which I gave 5 stars
