Best bakery in Stamford and probably all of CT. Everything is always fresh, staff is very helpful and it’s a great place to meet a friend for coffee and a pastry in the morning. Personal favorites are the Strawberry shortcake in the summer, the blueberry squares and the cranberry pecan bread. My only complaint is that they don’t take credit cards. They do have an ATM in the front but there are days when I just want to buy them a square reader :).

They may make good food, but these guys are exceptionally rude and I’d prefer to have positive encounters when spending money. It’s unacceptable to yell at customers, sorry.

These guys are all over the farmers market scene. They sell a nice 1 lb muzzarelli for $ 8

I came in to buy a box of assorted cookies for my coworker’s birthday. I was a bit turned off that the woman who assisted me did not wear gloves when she handled the cookies. She could’ve used tongs or something. So, minus one star.

Best Coffee in Town. No doubt. They have the best selection — I like mixing a half/half of light roast and dark roast and then a drop of something flavored(blueberry or pumpkin) since I drink my coffee black. Plus — its cheap; only $ 2 for a large AND they give you a card where if you buy 6, you get one free. Best coffee at the best price. I’m not a pastry guy but black and whites are always good as is the crumb cake. Some of the stuff in the case can be disappointing but the challah is good, bagels are decent and its a good local Stamford place. I“m a regular. Cash only FYI.

An awesome combination of great products, great service and friendly neighborhood owners. I’ve been shopping at Beldotti’s since I moved to Stamford in 2004, although they have been around a lot longer than that. It’s a family run business that offers a great variety of high quality products — pastries, cakes, cookies, breads. . and more. We buy our bread and pastries here for all the holidays, and we buy all of our birthday cakes here as well. I also stop in regularly to grab a cup of coffee and say hi to one of the Beldotti family members who are always there. It should also be noted that the Beldottis have always been very generous to local schools, teams, charities, causes, events, etc. In addition to their great products, they are great supporters of the Stamford community.

I am disappointed in the service! I called yesterday before noon to place an order for 3 loaves of specialty bread for pick up today. When I went in however, they only had 2. I saw my order slip — it was clearly written for 3. I was told who ever took my order must not have given it to the bakers. WHAT!!! And that I could settle for a loaf that I didn’t order. Disappointing that a simple order wasn’t done correctly — I’m glad I wasn’t placing a big order or an order for a cake or something — what would have happened if that didn’t get into the bakers?

I am giving just 2 stars because the value for what you are getting is poor. A loaf of bread is $ 7 + !!! One loaf! I drive twenty minutes to Matthew’s Bakery because the prices/value are much better. Brownies are good, but not great, I’ve tasted better. They can improve on their style(they really are not sure if they are a Jewish/Italian/Latin bakery and as such no one style is done great) and definitely on their value. I’d give them another chance, but would be careful to ask the prices before buying.

If I don’t bring a coffee cake for here, and it must be from here, I’m basically not allowed into my study group! Fantastic coffee bar, wonderful breads that even my grumpy father loves. Only drawback is that they are cash only.

What is the secret ingredient in Beldotti Bakery’s amazingly delicious orange cake? I’m an avid cake baker, and the perfect orange cake has long eluded me. Now that I’ve tried Beldotti’s orange cake, it may be time to throw in the towel. Moist. Check. Find grained. Check. Hypnotic natural orange flavor. CHECK. The only down side to this product is its addictive quality. DONOT attempt to have one thin slice. The cake will call you back into its orangey goodness, and you will slice away until you’ve eaten the entire thing. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Can be frozen, which I suggest you do until you have at least six others around to distribute the calorie load.

They had a booth at the Windsor Farmers Market and I scooped up a loaf of their Cranberry Walnut bread for $ 6. It was beyond terrific…
