I’ve been going to Jin’s Garden at least once per month ever since it opened. Great food, great variety, and reasonable prices. It’s way less greasy than other Chinese food I’ve had in the area. Do yourself a favor and eat in rather than getting takeout or delivery. The food is way better when it’s fresh from the kitchen. They also give you free hot tea if you request it. My favorite dishes there have been the fried dumplings, Singapore noodles, ginger chicken, Hawaiian beef, wonton soup, kung pao chicken, and chicken teriyaki. The lunch bento boxes are a great deal, too.

I have order here many times and it’s good, some food on the menus is very good like the dumpling, shrimp fried rice but they give you less meat and smaller portions for more money on the other food on the menu. I order beef with broccoli and lots of broccoli but very little beef, or chicken dish and the container is not even full, for large size. The food taste good but for the price you don’t get what you pay for. I will order again but I watch what I order and order less. Just for a meal. No leftover.

«American Chinese Food.» It’s pretty average, so yo won’t get your socks blown away. The delivery service was fast enough, although they seem to have a tough time every time finding my hotel, even though it’s on US-1. The biggest plus to this place: the portions. If you order a set for dinner, it’s going to be enough for at least dinner and breakfast the next day.

I’ve been here a few times in the past couple of months, but I wish I could come and eat here more often! The restaurant is usually quiet, but it shouldn’t be – they have the best Chinese food in Stafford. Their menu is huge, with Chinese and Thai selections and some special healthy options too. Everything I’ve eaten there so far has been good, and the prices are reasonable. There are so many things I still want to try at Jin’s Garden, but I am so addicted to their Mango Chicken and Red Curry that I may just stick with those two items for a while. You’ve gotta try them!

My family and I first tried the this place after moving to VA because we received one of their mailers. We were not disappointed. Their hot and sour soup is always good with just the right amount of spice to it. I’ve tried many of the items on their menu and all have been great. There red curry is exceptional though. I really enjoy the flavor and creaminess of the broth and it does have a lot of chicken and veggies. I like mine extra hot so I ask for extra heat, but I do like it just off the menu if I forget. Customer service has always been great. All the staff have been very friendly and attentive. Go for lunch and try their specials. I think they start around $ 6 for rice, entrée, egg roll or spring roll and you will not be disappointed of the portion sizes. We usually take some home.

This place was surprisingly good. The food isn’t authentic but it’s fresh, hot and served by friendly staff. I tried their sweet and sour chicken which was great, had a nice flavor and was hot and crunchy. I also had their beef chow fun which was also good. It can be difficult to prepare without making it greasy, but it was nicely cooked. As other Unilocalers have posted, this place is very clean. That’s always a plus.

A little expensive but I still love their food, you can’t go wrong with pork fried rice and some orange chicken! I always order delivery and it is to the house in about 20 min even on busy nights!

I love this place! They make excellent dishes of large sizes for a good price. The staff is always amazing and friendly. The other day when I was there picking up lunch there were two little ones with their parents having lunch. The parents asked for milk for their children, but that is not offered on the menu. The staff just took the order and ran out to the store to buy the kids milk for their meal. That’s really awesome customer service!

I had this food delivered on a Sunday. I had the Mei Fun chicken. Surprisingly after 45 mins the food was still hot. At first glance of the Mei Fun Chicken it looked plain with no flavoring on it. However, to the contrary it was an amazing dish. I put hot oil on too for a spicy kick. I enjoyed the food, I will definitely order from here again. On a side note, the only con about the service was they forgot to place forks in our delivery. It is minor, but those little things are important.

Usually I stick to Falls Church for my Chinese cuisine today I decided to venture out into Stafford I’m so glad I did the wait staff was awesome thank you hope I ordered the Jumbo shrimp fried rice no onion shrimp egg foo young no onion and braised eggplant in garlic sauce no onions it was the freshest most delicious things I’ve tasted in a long time the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the size of the rice I know this sounds crazy that you get more shrimp then rice but I’d rather have a lot of rice with my shrimp fried rice other than that there are no complaints Bravo

I started this review TOO long ago, but my recent visit made me want to come back and finish a good review for this excellent restaurant. The Egg Drop soup was exceptionally rich and well worth a try, however, my favorite is nearly always hot & sour. I found Jin’s to be nice and chunky with good spicing. This is a great choice. The Crispy Shrimp with Broccoli was very well spiced and served with perfect rice. Happy Family was definitely make you happy! For my most recent visit, I wanted something spicy, so I tried the Thai Red Curry with beef… WOW! The sauce was spicy, and creamy with tender beef. They definitely make me want to try other Thai dishes. Finally, I couldn’t speak higher of the service. This little restaurant deserves excellent ratings for making each person feel extra-special!

We stopped in for some egg drop soup and chicken & broccoli for dinner. We had never been here before, so we were pleasantly surprised to see how clean and nice it was inside. Even the restrooms were nice and clean. The food was not only prepared very nicely and was not greasy or overly«saucey» like a lot of take-out Chinese places, but it was fresh and flavorful too. It was served on very nice plates, again, unlike many other Chinese restaurants. The server was friendly and helpful too. We’ll come back!

Just moved to the area a couple of months ago. Have ordered from 2 different places and they were both blah. So when I ordered from here I didn’t expect much. It was delivered within 30 minutes on a Friday night and it was delicious! Found our new spot.

Started with an appetizer of Crab Rangoon, it was okay, but I’m very picky when it comes to crab. My boyfriend loved it. We both ordered the lunch special General Tso Chicken for the great price of $ 6 which comes with rice, an egg roll, and cantaloupe. Everything was fresh and tasted great. I would definitely come back!

General Tso Chicken — this was quite disappointing, it was very soggy and did not look appealing at all. Expensive and a waste of money for this dish. It’s like they half assed this one. Shrimp fried rice — this dish was pretty decent. Carrots and peas with jumbo size shrimps, the rice was soft and nicely done. Egg rolls — this is the same no matter where you go. Stuffed with cabbage, nothing exciting. Hunan delight — this was our favorite out of all the stuff we ordered. This is a must to share. Beef Chow Fun — this is one of my favorite noodle dish. Wide white noodles fried with bean sprout and your choice of meat. Unfortunately this place failed at making it. This was so bland and flavorless, you can even tell from looking at it. Typically it’s supposed to be all brown from the sauce but this dish they made looked like they went cheap on the sauce. Combination lo mein — this dish was also bland. If you spend more than $ 50 bucks they throw in a 2 liter of soda. Ask if they don’t offer it out right. For the price they charge and the flavorless food, I would not drive out that far to get Chinese.

This is THE go-to Chinese restaurant for me and my wife. We are from a Pacific Island and were spoiled by incredible Asian cuisine back home. When we moved to Stafford I literally tried every single Chinese restaurant I could find. We have settled on Jin’s as providing the best quality food on a consistent basis. General Tso’s Chicken, Spring Flower Chicken, and Mongolian Beef are what we usually order — we have yet to be disappointed with the food.

The hot tea is weak. Tastes more like hot water than tea. Hostess greeted me at the door and I asked«Can I sit here?», to which she replied«No, come with me.».(BTW, the place was EMPTY). Leads me to a middle table and faces the chair away from the door. I say«can I sit over at that other table?», to which she replies«Yes.». I’m like WTF was that all about then? Tried to order General Tso’s chicken with Lo Mein instead of rice. Nope. Can’t do that. Have to order it with rice and then order Lo Mein on the side. Yea arrives at the table, as stated, very weak. So add sugar to at least make it pleasant. But there’s no spoon to stir the tea, so grab the spoon wrapped in the napkin. The spoon is almost the same diameter at the inside of the little tea cup. Annoying. Workers wearing mismatched sweatpants and sweatshirts like they just came from the gym. Aquarium near the door is empty. Girl sitting in one of the booths folding what look to be «to-go boxes» or something instead of doing it in the back area. Phone rings CONSTANTLY and is the loudest thing in the restaurant. 4TV’s on the wall. 3 of them work. None of them have sound. Then the food came out… Fried rice was awesome. General Tso’s chicken was SUPER fresh, but not all spicy like it should be. More like orange chicken from Panda. Lo Mein is good but way too oily.
