We did not have such a nice visit this time. Between the cold food and the service we received, I became pretty annoyed quickly. Not the mention, the waitress/drink attendant just stared at my pregnant belly. I won’t be returning here.

Pretty good place as far as buffets for the area. Everything is pretty fresh and tasty. Employees are friendly and timely at refilling drinks and clearing plates at the tables. The sushi is very good and fresh. My daughter LOVES this place — we will be back.

Cold food, warm sushi, and they never seem to have what I actually want to eat stocked, and kung pao chicken makes me gassy…

As far as Chinese buffets in the area are concerned, this is the best one in Stafford/Fredericksburg. Food is replenished very timely. It’s always your standard chinese selections. I enjoy the crawfish, salted fried shrimp, and blue crab. The sushi is decent also. Try the hot and sour soup if you’re a fan. It’s pretty good here. And you can still go late on a Friday or Saturday night and the food will be coming out hot.

Still love this place! My husband loves to go to Hibachi Buffet and he usually is very picky about any«foreign» food, but he really enjoys it. In fact, we have taken out of town visitors there for dinner and the raved about it. The steam tables are always tended and things are replaced quickly. I’m usually very cautious about buffets and the reputation they generally have for food sanitation, but they staff are very good about checking the dishes often. Food spills are taken care of quickly too. If you can’t find something here that you like(since they have such a wide variety of dishes), you are nuts!

I’m only giving them two stars because the fresh fruit was great. The food was lukewarm, and we arrived only 30 minutes after opening. Nothing tasted outstanding to the point that I wanted to go for more. Even the ice cream sandwiches were mushy and barely frozen. If they continue to serve food like this, they will be closing their doors soon.

There is no quality control on the food. Every dish I had from the nine food bars was old and tasted horrible… tough…chewy…drenched in sauce. The Hibachi grill is fine, but do not eat the tough chicken. This restaurant needs to reduce the items on the bars and focus on making the limited number of items worth eating. Also, use cold, restaurant quality salad dressing for your salad bar… not warm Aldi-brand bottles of dressing. It is a shame because the restaurant has potential.

We’ve been here many times over the years and it is always hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great and other times it is so so. You can’t go wrong with the hibachi plates though, made fresh on the spot.

Buffet food was just ok. The price is great for all the food they offer on their buffet. They offer fresh made sushi(did not try it) and a hibachi grill in addition to the buffet food.

this place was okay been there a few times. when I grab sushi the guy gives me a look like, man I just made that and your gonna eat it? I always wash my hands before eating I walked in the bathroom and busted a U and went to use the purel up front. Also went to go get a second plate, my original plate was on the table so I moved it to the edge of the table as I was Taking a bite of the new plate. A pregnant roach popped out and said wtf you looking at we got to eat to. Well dam okay I understand your pregnant and times are tuff.(wondering where the baby daddy is). So I was a nice guy paid for the 5 of us. But I only left with the original four that came in. Won’t be back over there.

I have been here about 8 times. I do love the selections and they alway LOOK so good! The issue is every time, no matter the time of day… the items are cold. It’s the place which reminds me most of Hunan Chef Buffet in Houston, TX., just wish they’d get the temperature right. I’m here now and starving so I’m still eating! Lol! I’ll try it a few more times…

Mmmm… I’m gonna say NOPE to this place. I promise you there is nothing special about this place and the food is really not that great. I do like their decorations though! The Staff: Not helpful at all, in fact I felt like they had an attitude towards my family and myself for no reason. We felt like we were being watched, the waitress was standing right next to our table and watching us from the corner of her eyes. It was extremely weird and very uncomfortable. The Bar: Meh… Very basic. They dessert and fruit bar looked nice but the hot bar was truly basic. I didn’t see anything that stood out here that other places don’t offer. Hibachi: Meh… The same as any other place. The Sushi Bar: UGH… Not Thanks! Sorry but there was hair on some of the sushi and it didn’t taste fresh at all. I’m surprised the guy standing next to the bar didn’t notice the hair it was so long and visible(BARF). Not saying he put it there but maybe he should look at his bar once in a while and clean up if needed. haha The check out process was easy, just take your check up to the counter and that’s it! Personally I didn’t feel that it was worth the $ 12 but that’s just personal preference. I’d rather go next door and pay $ 12 for a nice fresh plate.

I’ve eaten here several times, each at my father’s request because he’s elderly and it’s where he likes to go when he’s in town… All-in-all, this restaurant has never rated more than an iffy 2 on a «good» day because nothing is fresh. Most of the time, like tonight, everything is lukewarm, overcooked, over/under seasoned, and items on the buffet are rarely replenished during the course of time that we dine wroth them. Plus, none of the sushi is made to order; it’s displayed on plates for who knows how long, which is a recipe for disaster when it comes to raw food– regardless if said plates are sitting on ice or not. Instead of the Hibachi Buffet, I’d recommend Formosa if you’re in the mood for Chinese(they do a small lunch buffet on weekends) and Umi if you’re in the mood for sushi.

Personally I wouldn’t even rate this place a single star, but I did enjoy SOME of their sushi selection. Aside from that there isn’t much to be desired or makes this buffet any different from another. The customer service here is absolutely horrible. You feel rushed while your eating and when it comes to paying the servers will not only hound you to make payment but then hover over you and count the money to see how much there tip is right in front of you. It was my second time today and will be my last with the same exact review as my first visit.

My wife and I are regulars, and believe me, my wife is picky! We go for Friday date-nights a couple times a month and I always leave staisfied. Okay — stuffed! I usually just stick with the sushi and the seafood buffet; the grill just fills me up too fast, so I’m not much of a fan. The guys on the sushi side though are very creative. Give them a tip and they’re likely to put something together just for you. And as for the salmon and whiting and fried oysters and steamed mussels — they’ll always have us coming back. And my wife loves their crabs. I usually top my meal off with a bowl of their peaches and guineps. Very nice! The one star missing is on the fried oysters and the whole steamed codfish — I don’t think they replenish those items nearly fast enough. They’re quite tasty! And I think the codfish should be sliced into steak-cuts in the kitchen to keep folks from destroying it as they serve themselves with the long handeled spoons they provide. And it wouldn’t hurt to see some New England Clam Chowder once in a while — pretty please! But beyond that, this is a great place to sit down and have a meal. Good value and attentive service. Cindy is a real pro whether she is behind the counter organizing the staff or at the tables waiting on diners herself, she does a noticeably great job. If you’re looking for a casual place to eat with a nice atmosphere, you won’t go wrong here. This place has been pretty good for a long time.

Meh, nothing was especially good here. The sushi was alright, not too much better than a grocery store sushi. It’s worth going if you want unlimited sushi. You can pay $ 12 or so and eat to your hearts content, but then again you could do this at buffet. I didn’t get a chance to try the Mongolian grill though.

Have eaten there several times, and will not go back. Consistently cold food, now with 11.99 for dinner, and an additional 2.99 a pound for snow crab. I think not. Best food there is the sushi bar and the stir fry bar. Everything else is overlooked, cold when should’ve been hot. Dessert bar is all canned pudding and bought and thawed crap. For the same money go next door to Outback.

This restaurant is no Bueno. In all fairness we arrived about 1 hour before closing on Sunday but there was hardly any food available, most food trays were empty, everything was cold and not very tasty. The good news is that the buffet was not pricey. The best of all available options was the hibachi which was cooked fresh and made to order. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Great food and plenty of selections! Pretty much the same price as if you were to go to McDonald’s, Jersey Mike’s, or surrounding establishments in the area. I’ve only been there once since I’m not too big on buffets but its worth a try if you haven’t.
