IHOP

This location is always packed on the weekends but we only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated.
The restaurant itself is very clean and every employee was very friendly. Our waiter was great and even though he had a huge section to take care of he was always one step ahead in refilling our drinks.
The food was hot, fresh and our orders were spot on.

Stopped by IHOP for a quick breakfast while traveling down 95. Got the pancake combo which came with scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. I ate nothing else the entire day and was puking all night long. I had no fever to speak of and had gotten a flu shot. it had to be the scrambled eggs. Hubby did not get ill and he had fried eggs. I bet they use a egg «mix» for scrambled and it was not refrigerated properly. It ruined my weekend. This place is not safe.

The food was good and service wasn’t bad. The server wasn’t as attentive as he should have been but was respectful nonetheless. I’ll come back again next time we visit the area.

The food was good enough, the service was good, the coffee was meh, the price was right. I used the rest room, and there was a sign that said ‘employees must wash hands after use’. I waited about 8 minutes and then finally washed my own hands.

I don’t know what it is about ihop but service is so slow. For some reason the whole ordering a meal, eating, and paying takes over an hour. The food is okay at best, nothing special. Tables are sticky (to be expected with all the syrup).

I haven’t been to ihop in a while and honestly I’ve never been wowed by their service or food.
Todays experience was much like the other times however, the staff did an excellent job controlling the large crowd in there. The wait wasn’t too long, which was nice, and the food didn’t take too long, but still longer than usual.
Their hostess had a GREAT personality and she seemed to control the crowd very well and treated every customer with a smile on her face and she was very respectful. Our waiter seemed a little anxious and busy but because it was busy and poor guy had so many tables in his area.
The food was ehh… I decided to try their egg white steak omelet and really regretted it. The egg whites tasted very fake, I know that usually egg whites don’t taste the best but seriously something was just off about them and the only reason why I’m giving them 4 stars.

Horrible, horrible customer service! I wanted to order carry out and I was literally standing there for 15 mins and each and every employees that passed by me just looked and me and didn’t even bother to ask if I needed help or if I was taken care of. I spoke to the Manager on duty a women by the name Sam and she just told me to Stan there that someone would be with me, and once again waited another 5 minutes!

It is IHOP, just expect slow service no matter how busy it is. My kids like it so we have gone a few times.

I usually get the same thing every time we come to IHOP and I was disappointed to find out… 20 min after ordering… that they had run out of crêpe mix and was asked if I was interested in anything else. Normally we would have left but we felt bad for our server, Vianey, because at the time we came (4:45pm), she was the only server working (she had been here since the morning) and was waiting on the whole place. As we are waiting, we hear that they had also run out of burgers, french fries, sausage and something else. I mean, that is POOR management — how do you not have enough people working and how do you run out of basic menu items??? Then more servers show up but still doesn’t solve the shortage of food.
We have now been waiting for over 40 min on our food… and when it finally comes out… it is lukewarm. Maybe it was just us but even with the other servers there, she was still the only one doing anything. There was one who stayed behind the glass, heavy with glasses who complained loudly during our whole meal — and that was pretty annoying.
Needless to say the obviously poor management is unfair to all the servers especially ours who despite the circumstances remained upbeat.

Went here from my road trip was very late 1am in the morning didn’t get to eat dinner so I went to this IHOP open 24 – 7 had the breakfast can’t never go wrong with breakfast food had the all meat supreme omelet with side pancakes delicious

Not too expensive, good ihop food:) nice location. Could be a bit cleaner, but over all not bad, not amazing!

I have Always loved pancakes and that why i love i hop but just because i love pancakes doesnt mean they are the best. One time I was at IHOP. I was eating breakfast and Our waiter started eating at the table right next to us. She was just talking away while we waited for our food. But over all that wait was werth it.

Ugh. Hadn’t been here in 4 years and haven’t missed anything. Although there was only 3 – 4 other booths occupied, it took 40+ minutes for a small stack of pancakes and an omelet-​type sandwich on sourdough – nothing exotic. There was not one offer to refill our water or coffee either. We still tipped generously, but we won’t be returning. Consolation: Once it arrived, food was piping hot and good.

My boyfriend and I came in about noon to have breakfast. There was a 5 minute way. No biggie. The manager standing there with the hostess then asked if we would like to sit out on the patio so we wouldn’t have to wait (what a gentlemen) but it was a bit too chilly. So we said no we would rather wait the 5 minutes. He then sees a table open up and just as its finished getting cleaned, he seats us right away. Our waiter Ronald, was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Anyways, back to why we came in. We visited IHOP because we heard they now had pumpkin pancakes. When they came out, they looked amazing. And boy they were AMAZING. I loved them with the butter pecan syrup (not so much the old fashioned syrup). We also had omelets and hashbrowns and that all came out hot and yummy too. Ronald kept our drinks full and made sure we were doing good the whole time there. There was not only one manager going around asking if everything was ok, but two. And they even asked if we needed anything. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great start to our day! Keep up the excellent work :)

Our experience was mixed. The food was ok. Good pancakes and eggs. Burnt sausage. The store is Very dirty. Dust and dirt hanging from all the vents. The worst was the noise. It should have been relatively quiet since there were only 8 people in the store. It was very loud. Hard to have a conversation when you have loud music playing and some sort of drilling coming from the bathroom. We asked if they were remodeling. The response was «I don’t know, I don’t go in the men’s bathroom»

Standard IHOP food, but the service needed some serious work. We were never offered anything more to drink after our first coffee. Also, the turkey bacon had a weird taste to it, like it was cooked on a dirty grill.

Server stole remaining balance of gift card. Keep your receipts

I have never had a problem here. This is IHOP people… Not some Bed&Breakfast in Long Beach. Servers are friendly and the service is *usually* pretty quick. Stay away on Sunday morning though, that seems to be «Let’s bring our small children and screaming babies to IHOP» day.

The only good thing about this experience was our server Sade, but even she couldn’t compensate for the outdoor seating vibe.
First, you can be forgotten! Sade stuck her head outside and asked if we had been waited on yet. We had told our hostess that we would take some coffee and water to save our assigned waitress the extra trip, but that didn’t save any time at all. Sade was already in the middle of taking our order when the assigned waitress showed up with our drinks, and we had been waiting a while.
Then there were the badly prepared orders, the nearby sewer and the persistent flies («our electronic fly swatter/​bug zapper is still broken»).
Sade fixed the bill for us, but IHOP has gotten so bad over the years that it really is a shame. I remember going to IHOP in the ‘70s, it was a premo experience! Now? I’d rather try out any diner. Sad to see.

Great service, Pancakes meh. But I knew that when I went in.
