Awesome! They have habatchi stir fri to go with yum yum sauce. It’s super good and really reasonable. The sushi is good to. I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like. That’s so hard to find in any type of restaurant. You have to try it and you’ll be hooked.

Good lunch specials and friendly staff. I gotta admit that not everything on their menu is good… however I love their salmon cream cheese roll and salmon avocado rolls! That’s all I go for.

My favorite place to get sushi! The fried Japanese bagle and tornado roll are amazing! I also enjoy their dumplings, ragoons, and lunch specials. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Great for eat in or carry out.

I’ve been hearing about this place from coworkers for months, but had yet to try it. I wanted to some sushi last night, but needed down thing affordable and remembered OEC.
Inside is nice with table and bar seating. The staff is relatively friendly and very efficient.
We had the rangoons and spring rolls which were super tasty. Though the rangoons were boiling lava hot so be careful. I loved the miso soup.
As far as rolls go, I had a sweet potato roll and one that had spicy crab and crunchy mixed together inside of it. I was a greater fan of the sweet potato roll. They have a 2 rolls for $ 8.99 special, but just remember the rolls involved have small pieces.
Overall, it was okay though I was excited to learn they deliver!

My wife and I ordered the steak and shrimp dinner and the house salad. Their sauce is good lite and mellow.

First time ordering from here. Very happy with prices, portion size and freshness of food. Will be ordering again for sure

We just moved to this area. We are thrilled to have this place 5minutes from home. We ate lunch here yesterday and have returned for lunch again today. Price is fantastic (we paid exactly half of what we paid recently at another place for same meal, same quality food). Service was great– friendly, prompt, and attentive. Food is tasty. We had rolls yesterday– kids shared California rolls, hubby got Alaskan roll and spicy tuna roll, I got spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. Today, adults are having exactly same things as yesterday but kids are are having Chinese food. I thought this is great that we can get Chinese as well as Japanese at a same place. A very friendly Chinese family runs this restaurant. It’s very clean here. I can see the kitchen through a clean window. We will be coming here often. They deliver (over $ 15 I think).

This was really good at lunch. I got the sushi combo. I was surprised that the more simple rolls still tasted good. From order to taking food out, it was fast.

The tiger roll is worth 5 stars all by itself. Strip mall Sushi at it“s best. Super family owned business with prices you can’t touch when you compare what you get.

I have been wanting to try this place for quite a long time. They have a really good lunch special and you can also get the same special for dinner for just a couple of dollars more. You can order takeout from anything that’s on the menu. Or you can dine in and have a server bring you your food. It’s much better than just the regular takeout place. I had two different types of sushi and a really good salad with peanut dressing when I went with my son. He had tempura chicken that was covered in panko crumbs and came with rice. It was the ultimate comfort food. Next time I’m not on that side of town I will definitely get some for takeout. It looks like it’s a family run business and everybody was extremely friendly. The clientele was completely varied with families and teenagers just hanging out. It would be a great day to hang out at nearby Barnes and Nobles and then go get some sushi.

We ordered delivery from here one week ago with no problem and the food was wonderful. This week they told us they don’t deliver to our address. Hmmm… I would have given more stars if they had not had a delivery change of heart!

. I went their for lunch with a friend. We had a salad that consist of iceberg lettuce, that had horrible dressing. We each had the lunch special that comes with two Sushi rolls. Both ordered different rolls each. The Fish was warm and mushy in texture and was fishy tasting. We were unable to eat any of the rolls. Never once did they check on us to ask why we never ate the sushi. Never will recommend or go back to this horrible sushiI felt sick the rest of the day.

In the NW decent priced sushi is everywhere including conveyer belt places. We have been looking for a real sushi place since we moved here 6 yrs ago and have now found it. Sushi = fast food/​not always super fancy dining. I feel more at home here, the prices are great and the sushi was great. My new favorite for a quick and tasty bite :)

One step above awful. Had a bento box for lunch at $ 14! Mediocre beef, salad was just iceberg presented on a brown plastic plate. At least the rest of it came in an actual bento box. Portions were way too big for lunch. They should scale back and charge less. California roll was falling apart and suimai was some kind of mystery meat, definitely not pork. Also only 1 person serving. She tried her best but they need to have more people working lunch rush. Oh, and I had to ask for chopsticks. I’m not even gaijin!

I live just down the street and I’ve eaten here a few dozen times over the years. I really love their yasai and sweet potato rolls as well as their chicken teriyaki platter, which is huge and yummy and has such a fresh homemade taste. I really do love this joint. The waitresses recognize me, I’m pretty sure, and are always sweet. They don’t have wifi themselves, but the wifi at Panera next door picks up really well in here. Nice for getting some work done while waiting for noms.

Stopped into OEC on a Wednesday night for dinner with a friend, and was pleased to see a cute little restaurant tucked into a strip mall. We were seated and our drink order was taken promptly. I opted for the Bento box to get a little bit of everything because my friend suggested the sushi but I was hungry for hibachi. While the Bento comes with only a California roll, I figured it was a safe bet as I also wanted to try their hibachi chicken teriyaki.
The California roll was all cucumber, the crab had walked through it and I believe there was avocado, I can’t remember. Not a great sushi roll. The vegetables came out partially cooked, steamed white rice was steamed white rice, and while the chicken was cooked perfectly it had no flavor. The three little shumai were also meh. The thing that made this meal tasty, was the bottle of pink sauce they brought to the table. That sauce was probably just mayonnaise with a little bit of ketchup, but it went on everything. I’m sure I looked ridiculous squirting it all over my food, I but didn’t care, it needed flavor. I would eat here again, as it’s a nice alternative than waiting for food at a hibachi at Tsunami, but I would definitely try something else. The prices are good for what you get.

Good sushi for a reasonable price. I like their lunch special deal 2 rolls and a soup or salad for $ 7, awesome deal. The ginger dressing they use on the salad is very tasty and their miso soup is good too. they also deliver sushi which is a wonder to be found in st pete

I go here more for Sushi, especially the Sweet Potato Roll. The Sushi is reasonably priced and the presentation is great.
Service was great and quick. The staff is friendly.
I like that you can see the Sushi being prepared, and there’s a big window, where you can see what’s happening in the kitchen.
Will be going there again :)

Came in for the sushi lunch special which is a really good deal. You can chose from a list of about 30 different rolls, nothing spectacular, just basic rolls with a few unique items like calamari, and avacado peanut, etc… The special is any 2 rolls from this list with a soup or salad for 6.99. They have the same combo for dinner at 8.99. Great deal! They also have many specialty sushi rolls to chose from and sashimi as well. They serve up Hibachi grilled dishes with fried rice and carrots that are all very reasonably priced and look delicious. I look forward to trying this next time. Glad to have another good cheap sushi option in the area!

Went there for late lunch yesterday. Since it was around 4pm, it was just my husband and I and another couple in the whole place. We ordered 2 rolls to split between us: Volcano roll and Pink Lady. We both liked Pink Lady the best. Volcano was okay. I liked that there’s a huge window into the kitchen, so one can watch the food being prepared. My only concern is the service. Although we were set right away and our server took our orders in a very timely manner, she disappeared for the rest of our lunch. She only appeared with our check when we were completely done eating. We definitely needed some refills and side plates during our meal. Wish she was more attentive, considering how slow it was at the time.
