Called 3 times starting at 9:25…said they didn’t close till 10:30 in their ads… no answer… placed an order online which said it went through and they were happy to take my credit card payment and said I would get a call in 10 – 15 minutes… no call and no food… read other online reviews that have had the same problem… um it’s 2014… answer your phone or get an answering machine or at least take down your website so people aren’t tricked and wasting our time

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We’ve driven past several times but just recently stopped by for our first time. Everything was very fresh. Well prepared. No heavy sauces. One could enjoy the quality of their well prepared and perfectly cooked vegetables. Menu is very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Several options to choose from. I’m happy to have this in my neighborhood. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

I was looking for something different to eat and I searched the beach for Asian cuisine. I went to one place which I won’t name right now but I found their prices to be quite high for the average and naïve consumer. I got back on my ride and headed away from the beach when I ran across this place and I liked the prices and the food, nuff said. Great place to eat.

Nice little Asian café just off the beach that offers a number of veggie (and vegan) friendly menu options.
Started with their veggie pot stickers. A lovely presentation and steamed perfectly. The filling was a little bland, though (not sure if they’re trying to cater to an older clientele).
Their Spicy Thai Noodles were not very spicy (and despite the server’s resistance to my suggestion, this dish is essentially pad woon sen). The veggies were fresh. The tofu bland and uninspired.
Bonus points for the biggest Thai tea I’ve ever had.

went here last week and it was a little quite but they did a terrific job decorating the place, The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was good and certainly just the right portions. The food was very fresh and certainly cooked just right… I would go back to this place any day … certainly a very nice addition to Saint Pete Beach…

Opened October 2011 Bamboo Bistro deserves to become popular. The red and black décor and ambiance are pleasant with comfortable indoor and outdoor dining areas. The reasonbably priced menu includes asian stir fry and noodle dishes as well as sushi, and beer and wine. We started our meal with vegetarian steamed dumplings. I think we would gladly have eaten 20 of them. We shared a chicken and vegetable stir fry with almonds and cashews in brown sauce with brown rice and a Thai style basil fried rice. The veggies were fresh and cooked just right, and the presentation was very attractive. A freshly made chili oil with garlic enabled us to add the desired amount of heat. On a Sunday evening the place was empty, but they were producing a stream of take out orders. This is going to be one of our new favorite places.
