I’ve been an employee in the City Center for the better part of a year now, so I have been to the Nature’s Table several times. As one reviewer mentioned, their service was once slow and unresponsive. But since they have experienced the full turnover, it’s a lot worse than it was before– assuming you can get service. The past three times I have been there to order food I waited in line for over 5 minutes(being the only person in line, mind you) before deciding to try my luck elsewhere. And the thing is, they knew I was there. They made eye contact yet did not address me, and were not working on any other order. This morning I went to get a breakfast burrito after my workout and the place was deserted. Not a single employee in sight. Also, the one time I was able to get food, it was terrible. Do yourself a favor and bring your breakfast or try the Starbucks in the Hilton; they’re also rude but at least you’ll get what you want. I’m never coming here again and I’ll do my best to convince my coworkers not to either. They already share the same frustrations.

I was just in St. Petersburg for a week working an event. Luckily Natures Table was a block away from our hotel(the Hilton Bayfront) and right across the street from the venue(Al Lang Stadium) because this place was great. The three ladies that were working there every time I went in had awesome service and had an effective routine down to get through heavy lunch crowds. I probably ate here 9 or 10 times during the week and so did the rest of the event crew I was working with. Everyone had something different each time and I never heard one complaint. The prices are good and there is a wide variety. I especially liked the pom-bomb smoothie, cali club, vegetable chili, jack club panini and there wraps are great as well.

Make sure to read the update at the end of this post. I kept the original post to show the history and how things have changed for the better ! Original post — — — — This Natures Table is located in the Northern Trust building in downtown Saint Pete. It primarily caters to the companies located inside that building. It doesn’t get much outside traffic so most of the customers are regulars that work in the building. I was once one of those customers. The general feeling in the building is the people working there have a bad attitude. The food is okay although a little pricey. But it’s the staff that inspired me to write this post. They are extremely moody. unprofessional, and downright rude at times. I found this out the hard way after discovering that for two months I was hated by the staff unbeknownst to me. I always took their rude remarks as sarcasm, as jokes. Almost like a sassy staff that likes to tease the regulars, and sometimes I teased back. It wasn’t until one of them refused to wait on me one day that I realized they were serious. I will summarize by saying this: My first impression of the staff as they look like trouble and drama. But of course not my trouble or my drama so why worry about it? Right? Well. go there long enough as a repeat customer and you’ll get ensnared in it — or at least somehow I did. Customers be warned… The staff might be tiny girls but don’t be fooled, those small shoulders carry some mighty large chips and the disrespect fuse can be lit by a warm breeze. I obviously don’t go there anymore. — — — — — — — — — Update ! — — — — — — — — – Since writing this review things have changed and the staff has had a full turnover. The new staff cares about the customers experience and it is a welcomed change! I would once again recommend this natures table to anybody looking for a quality breakfast or lunch meal. Glad to be able to write this!
