Easy and casual, great food with out the pressure of being waited on by a serving staff. Love this place, we’ll definitely be back.

Fun place! Order at the counter and they call you number. Friendly service and an interesting atmosphere. Nice for a quick stop but a little pricy. We both had gyros with onion rings, my wife had chicken and I had lamb. Chicken was good but my lamb had a lot of grizzle, yuck! The meat was poorly seasoned and generally the gyro was pretty bad, worst I have ever had. Onion rings were mushy, bland and Greasy. Generally a fairly poor experience.

This wasn’t good… We nearly walked by based on how it looked. The street looked like slim pickings so we went in. You order at the counter and they bring your«food». Yes it was cheap. My wife ordered pancakes and bacon, and I got a roast beef club sandwich. The food came out in decent time. However there was no bacon on her plate. She went back up and informed them, and they said they would bring it out. She was about ½ done and still no bacon. So I went up and just as I got there, a girl was coming around the counter with 2 plates of food and a side of bacon. I am thrilled that the bacon made the dining room. However, after seeing that tray go outside to another table, I was again disappointed. However I knew it was her bacon. So now, I asked the manager for the bacon, he looked puzzled because he knew it went out. So now, he goes back to the kitchen… I hear some grumbling… then…the worst possible thing happened… he went outside to the table and took it off that table and walked it over and sat it down… it barely hit the table and I called him out on it. I told him to take it back and give us the 2 bucks back. That’s not it however… her pancakes arrived cold. My roast beef club was a warm, brown meat… confused, I deconstructed it… remember steak ums? That was the meat. Gross heated meat product. Also, the person responsible for how this transpired is the owner. He took our order, and retrieved the bacon from the other table. Once food is dropped at another table, it becomes that tables food. Nasty, Avoid this place.

First time here and won’t be back. The Dome potatoes were so salty I couldn’t even eat them and the croissant was dry and chewy not lite and flaky. Mediocre food.

Went for breakfast and it was yummy. Pancakes were delicious. It’s a family owned establishment and a welcome change to chain restaurants.

Food was okay, nothing special to mention — yes the breakfast potato was nice but omelette was just plain mediocre & oily. Spanakopita was good but also super oily. Coffee was very weak and tasted cheap, reminded me of old days in the Air Force flight line… The guy behind the counter seemed out of touch, he missed couple items that we ordered. After tasting oily bomb we lost appetite to go back and order the missing items. What deducted stars was the bathroom — leaky ceiling and flooded floor don’t give you much confidence of quality control of restaurant in my opinion…

The perfect breakfast place. My favorite are biscuits and gravy with two fried eggs overeasy on top. Coffee is pretty good. If you are looking for a local diner/cafeteria then definitely come check out the Dome.

Good food! Fast service and good prices! The lamb sandwich I ordered tasted delicious, the only thing I didn’t like about it was that it was a bit too tough for a sandwich and I had a little bit of trouble biting into it. The Dome Fries k ordered with it were delicious. My girlfriend liked her traditional gyro a lot as well! The breakfast menu looked good as well, well probably try it next time. All in all great place to swing by and try.

Very good breakfast, nothing fancy but good value. Not a full service restaurant, but it works well.

Don’t even waste your time or money! This food was disgusting, I packaged up my food to-go and gave it to a homeless person lingering outside the restaurant. I also noticed a large package of RAW beef sitting out on the prep station behind the cashiering not being attended to when I arrive. I peeked over as I was walking out 20 minutes later, the raw meat was still sitting on the counter. The only nice part of my dinning experience, was the Owner took my order… The girls cleaning up the restaurant were tentative as well.

I was referred here by the valet at Courtyard Marriott for breakfast & thank God! I loved the flounder & grits, couldn’t resist a fresh croissant and coffee. The pastries & breads are made on site under supervision of a sweet owner. The wifi was just a plus! I’ll go back in the am!

This place advertises they serve breakfast all day, which is always a plus. There are no extra frills. You want large portions of eggs, coffee, and a shoddy internet connection this is where you go.

Very friendly. The Greek omlet was delicious. The home fries were outstanding. They reminded me of röschti which I grew up eating!

We had a surprisingly delicious experience here after our first three breakfast places didn’t pan out in St. Petersburg on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. With plenty of parking out front, we walked right in, debated over the menu, then placed our order at the counter. Standard breakfast fare of muffins, pastries, eggs, omelets, corn beef hash, etc. I had an omelet with feta cheese, tomatoes, and fresh spinach, and it was excellent. Not too much spinach, very light and fresh tasting. Served with crazy good buttery Dome potatoes. Plus choice of toast — I lived on the edge and had sourdough. They have a drink station, so you have to get your own coffee, tea, soda, etc. That is also where the silverware is. No napkins, but rolls of paper towels are on each table. My entire family liked their meal — it wasn’t fancy, but it was very good. Even the coffee was decent. Pssst. here’s a secret — if you ask for your muffin to be heated, they actually cut it into pieces and throw it on the flattop grill. YUM! Reasonably priced, with fresh ingredients, and served hot — its great place to bring people who want a no-frills breakfast.

Decent meal. The cashier(middle aged man) needs to either focus on answering the phone or his customer waiting to order. He answered the phone twice while taking my order, took my card, gave card back and didn’t swipe it, then couldn’t remember if he charged me and couldn’t remember what I’d ordered. Poor people skills. Won’t be rushing back for breakfast any time soon.

Very solid three star«order at the counter and they’ll bring it to the table» diner. The menu is huge with a great selection for breakfast especially. You need to know what you want quickly as there is usually a line that forms from the counter to the door. Service is fast and efficient. In comparison to other places the Greek Gyros is just average.

My croissant was soft and flaky with yummy melted cheese. I asked for crispy home fries and they delivered well done crispy home fries. This is a walk up and order restaurant and the food is quickly ready for consumption. I can’t say I would go out of my way to go back but good enough to stop in for a quick bite if in the area.

The Dome Grill is a solid breakfast place with an old-school feel located right in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. If you are looking for a downtown spot with decent food and ample space, The Dome Grill is the place for you. While the restaurant is very«no frills»(you order at the front, grab your own drink, etc., etc.), they offer pretty good food with a variety of options ranging from breakfast sandwiches to pancakes. I ordered pancakes with chocolate chips, which were huge and fluffy. The scrambled eggs were just okay; I ended up putting hot sauce on them. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty big, and look very fresh and filling. The prices are good, the food is solid, and the location is great!
