Love the veggie sub! It’s awesome to get food without meat but has some substance… They realize vegetarian doesn’t mean only a cold tomato lol They are fast and polite. The lady at the register is on her game too. She will get er done.

Ok so I tried it half a year ago when I moved right behind it. Boy was I glad I did. It is a two minute walk from me and I eat it weekly to the point that the staff know me. If you want a fast sandwich place, then this place certainly beats subway by 2.89 miles. I always order a turkey bacon ranch and it has never disappointed. Although the ordering online system times could use a little work, the place definitely deserves 6 stars if I could.

I love the Hook n Ladder so much that I rarely try anything else. Though the engineer is a tasty sub too. Always hot and melty cheese… yum! Their selection of hot sauces is awesome and the house hot sauce is really great. Add in the fact that they have a CocaCola freestyle machine and this place is in a different league than Subway. The only issue I have is with the parking. Not much up front but there is some in the back.

Sandwiches were good. The dining room was dirty. There were napkins and stuff on the floor. Every table was dirty. We asked them to clean a table — they did. Just the one we were sitting at, leaving the rest as they were. This was a Sunday night, it was not busy. It looked clean behind the counter but the dining room grossed me out. Especially because there were 3 people behind the counter doing absolutely nothing.

The only reason I won’t usually give five stars is because that last important star should be reserved over the top experiences that went beyond expectations.
Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at my excellent salad today at FireHouse.
This is was random last minute lunch meet up. I almost didn’t agree because I’m trying to eat healthy and I just wasn’t in the mood for a meat and bread feast.
The firehouse chop salad was perfect. A tad heavy on the dressing, but I could fit every piece in my mouth (unlike most salads at other places). That’s important for keeping your shirt clean and roof of your mouth injury free.

If you order water they will give you the smallest cup ever, when you ask for a larger cup, they very rude. I spent $ 9 for a sandwich, but have to drink water tiny cup??? Just because someone orders water does not mean that they are not thirsty, quite the opposite! Dicks!

This Firehouse has fast service and great food. I order the meatball sub (pictured). The meatballs are large and homemade tasting. It is smothered in spices and cheese and then baked for perfection. I recommend getting a fountain soda as well. They have the soda machines that have hundreds of choices. There are about 20 soda brands to choose from (Coke, Diet Coke, Mellow Yellow, Dasani, Minute Maid Lemonade, Sprite, etc). Then you can add different flavors to the main soda choice. I like grape or orange Mellow Yellow or Sprite.

Didnt know what we were gonna get since there were no other reviews to steer us in the right direction. But we were pleasantly surprised! Delicious sandwiches! I had the steamer. Yum! Clean and Cool décor! You can even buy their BBQ sauce in a bottle shaped like a fire hydrant that can be used as a piggy bank later. I love how they also give back to the community. The perfect sub place to go after a long day on the water. It really hit the spot. Thank you Firehouse subs!
