GREAT show. Great time, even with a smaller audience at the late show. We didn’t know what to expect but so entertaining and fun. Will definitely go back and definitely recommend it!

This venue definitely deviates from the average bar scene in The Grove — a breath of fresh air! If you’re into Electro Swing/Jazz and a classic cocktail, out of the way from the typical Grove hubbub, this place is a must.

I think this is a hidden gem! On the west end of the grove. We went on a Tuesday and enjoyed well made cocktails and show tunes in the back room. Loved that we could make requests!

I surprised my wife with tickets to «The Rocky Horror & A Little Bit More» at The Emerald Room Cabaret, which is at the back of The Monocle. Yes, the music included many songs from TRHPS, but there were a few surprises, too. All of the four main performers were good and seemed to be enjoying themselves, but two of them had *really* good voices, especially on a couple of the songs … but the emcee, wow, he had a VOICE! The show was truly«something different» — and one of the most entertaining live shows we’d either experienced. Go to the website for The Monocle, read about the venue, and then GO! We’ve already decided we’ll be back soon!!!

Best new cabaret and bar in town! Amazing craft cocktails at a great affordable price. Beautiful ambiance in the front room bar, there is always music or a pianist/singer there to enjoy. There is no cover fee! The Emerald Room cabaret in back has stellar entertainment from all over the country every Friday and Saturday at 7pm. Ticket prices vary $ 25 — 55 depending on the headlining act. The Varite show every Friday and Saturday at 9pm &11pm is around $ 20 and well worth the price, amazing vocalists, Burlesque, circus performers from fire spinners, jugglers, balancing acts… a real Vaudeville show! This place is a must see!!!

A must do for a night out on the town. I’m really excited to tell everybody about it! Start with a fantastic hand crafted cocktail in one of the most lovely turn of the century bar settings I’ve ever seen… then move to the theater in the«Emerald Room» in back to find some of the best entertainment I’ve ever seen in a cabaret! Fabulous singers, drag queens, burlesque, magicians, and jugglers… simply a the most entertainment you’ll find in STL!

Fantastic drinks and bartenders. Entertainment was better than shows in Chicago. What a great venue for a fun evening out in St. Louis!

Loved this place!!! I had one free night in STL during a business trip and a friend said that I had to go here. What a cool place. It reminded me of the bars in The Mission in SF. The bartender was super cool and the drinks were made with fun ingredients. If you’ve only got one night to spend in St. Louis, this is the place to go!

Though this is labeled«gay bar,» I assure you it is inclusive and a good time for heterosexuals(being one myself). My girlfriend and I spent some time enjoying handcrafted cocktails and craft beer in the throwback Great Gatsby-esque atmosphere. Go here. It’s fun and local.

We have a new cabaret in «The Grove». Unlike anything in St. Louis the Monocle is bringing talent in from across the country to perform in an intimate space. Table service for your drinks are available through out the show. We were lucky enough to see Whiskey and Cherries perform from Chicago. This rocking duet serves up awesome music IE Broadway show tunes, Bette Midler, and love songs with a sassy and somewhat bawdy show. A special appearance by Liza is not to be missed. We in St. Louis do not have many venues like The Monocle and it needs to be supported by the community so the owners can keep the great talent coming in. On October 2nd one the great Liza impersonators will be in town to put on a must see show. Call ahead and get your tickets and reserve a table.
