We came to Tenacious Eats last week to celebrate a birthday. We will definitely be back. Everything was great. The host at the door had a lot of personality and set the tone for the evening. The selfie station was a fun touch. The food was amazing and had great flavor. Portion sizes were small to medium which is good because there are several courses. One thing I would’ve liked is if the gratuity was included. Maybe make the tickets an even $ 100 with gratuity, I think that would be more convenient. But in any case, we enjoyed ourselves and we’ll be back for sure!

Tenacious Eats is a blast. It’s been a while since I’ve gone, but I attended a screening of Chocolat back when Chef Liz was still operating out of Meyer’s Grove. The band that played pre-screening was great, the emcee was personable and hilarious, and the pre-show and intermission entertainment was very fun. I loved the way the crew engaged the crowd– the whole experience felt very intimate. The food and drink was superb as well. Each meal is based on a theme related to the film being screened, so chocolate was the cornerstone to each cocktail and course served when I attended. There is a course for each taste, and with multiple courses and smaller servings, if you don’t love the dish served(which is unlikely), setting it aside until the next course is totally acceptable. To be honest, I don’t recall any negative aspect to the experience. Initially I was a little worried about not getting my money’s worth, but I left stuffed, slightly drunk, and really excited to return. This is a social event though, I personally wouldn’t go solo. Perfect double-date night event.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. After months of planning, the chef backed out and I had to cancel my dinner party. She made up stories, was rude and condescending, and even bad-mouthed the charity that I was working with. Beware this questionable ‘business’
