Love this place. It’s clean, bright, and newly renovated. Baristas are friendly and experienced. If you don’t know about SB rewards already, you should get it because free unlimited refills of coffee, iced coffee, hot tea, iced tea, or shaken iced tea lemonades with any drink purchase(can be anything, even a frapp). I literally tried every single tea flavor for free… oops. My favorite drinks are their green tea frapp, peach green tea lemonade, and the loose leaf green tea(I’m kinda crazy for green tea)!

When Coffee Cartel smells overwhelmingly like bleach and cleaning supplies you go to Starbucks down the street. Sorry, CC… not this time. This Starbucks is noticeably nicer than most. Probably because it’s in the CWE but it was also noticeably cleaner. They have a small outdoor patio which is a great area to sit in if you have the time. Overall, Starbucks coffee to me is pretty«meh.» There are many other local joints whose coffee I prefer but sometimes convenience is king… or not smelling bad in this case. Upon my visit I learned that Starbucks does sandwiches now that you can warm up. Yes, I’m behind but I seriously rarely go to visit this chain. They weren’t bad for being pre-made! Anyways, I won’t be back anytime soon but this location is A-OK in my books.

Nice location, newly remodeled with a pretty chic feel. Leather sofa, window seats and outdoor patio with umbrellas to shelter you from sun and rain. surrounded by other awesome spots like the Chest Club, FroYo, Gamblin Whiskey, Lester’s and Brennan’s cigar bar. No drive thru but it really doesn’t need one with all its glory.

It’s a Starbucks so you pretty much know what you are getting regardless of the particular location. This location itself is pretty nice if you ask me. Plenty of room inside and outside for those of you who like to sit and enjoy your beverages. Reliable Wi-fi like most Starbucks and overall a groovy kind of atmosphere.

As far as any Starbucks location goes — this is probably my favorite. The staff here are incredibly friendly and boy, are they fast! The store is usually fairly busy and parking isn’t usually available unless you get there early in the day, which is fine if you work 9 – 5. The space is somewhat cramped, but better than it was prior to their renovation. Again — it’s a Starbucks, but it has the best staff of any others I’ve visited in the past and better than others I visit out of convenience.

Great place to grab a cup of corporate coffee and read a book or work. The seating is pretty good for the area, the interior is always clean, and the outside is great for people watching. I prefer going in on the evenings when it’s not too crowded, though the lines can pick up on weekend afternoons. The only annoyance I’ve had with this location is the WiFi’s glitchiness. It’s bothersome when going to the shop soley to work over the internet and finding it not working for no reason. Again, that’s minor. The staff have always been friendly to me and they get my drinks fairly fast. It’s Starbucks, so there’s no surprises with their fares and no use discussing them.

This is an above average Starbucks mostly for its location and its indoor and outdoor seating area. Parking can be tricky around here especially at night and weekends. This is a popular area. This coffee shop can get crowded but I have never had to wait very long in a line here nor have I waited long for my drinks. Enjoying Starbucks outside at this location usually provides some great people watching.

Starbucks is a chain sure but the coffee always tastes good. The barista spells my name right on my cup every time I come in.

Great drinks and coffees made to order. Breakfast sandwiches are good too and they are made fresh everyday. Salads and lunch sandwiches are also available anytime during the day. Recommend the lemonade with raspberry it’s really good.

Just your usual everyday neighborhood Starbucks. Ample seating, friendly baristas, and there was never much of a crowd when I was there. A little out of the way for most of the CWE, but if the siren’s calling you and Coffee Cartel just won’t do, it’s easy to wander on over here.

My fiancée and I love Starbucks. She gets it every day, no joke. I usually accompany on the weekends. We moved to Saint Louis approximately 1 year ago, and stayed at the Chase Park Plaza– this Starbucks sold her on why we should live in the Central West End. It was quaint, scenic, centrally located… Then they remodeled the location. At first, it wasn’t bad, a little more volume meant waiting a few more minutes in line. But the past 2 weekends have been terrible. The staff seems to have turned over and it is usually crowded to the point that they can’t keep up. Drinks come out wrong, and unless you’re able to leap over the 15 people crowded into the space at the pickup area, that’s just your problem. I ordered the oatmeal with blueberries and flax seeds– it looked really tasty in the picture. They forgot to add the flax seeds and also forgot how much water to put in. It was like nasty blueberry oat soup. You might catch it at the right time and have no problem, but you could also walk across the street to Coffee Cartel. Your best Starbucks is going to be in Clayton or on Wydown. Back toward the city, you’ve also got the one on Grand near SLU.

Sidenote: The best cup of coffee I’ve had in CWE is at Pi Pizza. I think Starbucks excels at consistency of product. This location is no different in that the coffee is the same taste as any place else. That said, this is a great location to grab a quick cup and go. …however, parking is tricky near Maryland and Euclid so this is easier said than done. I rate this as 2 out of 5 stars comparing it to other Starbucks shops in the area. It is small and cramped and has one unisex bathroom which creates waiting for the bathroom an expectation. On a positive note, the bathroom has always been clean. Maybe the guy in front of you feels obligated not to be a sloppy mess knowing a cute girl might be waiting for her turn. The business itself does really well given the traffic in CWE and their Apple –esque ability to make people feel special while holding the logo on their cup(myself included as I type away at my Macbook writing this review…). A coffee shop as a whole and I might give it 3 or 4 stars. The staff is great(as great as all Starbucks staff) and you know what you are getting when you walk in the door. But when it comes down to going to a Starbucks, I’d rather go to one elsewhere.

Visiting form out of town and paying money for a good cup of coffee my experience was horrible. The coffee maker was rude after we stated the order was wrong. The worker threw the coffee away with an attitude and made rude out loud comment to the other employee. The coffee maker then had an attitude until we left. Other then a rude employee the atmosphere was nice.

Despite Proximity to Coffee Cartel, this starbucks is always pretty crowded inside. Can usually find a seat fairly easy outside, but inside is high demand and cramped. Great service though, they do well given the space.

Went there this morning to meet a client — great location in heart of Central West End. Very attentive, quick service. yes its very cramped, but real estate is tight in that area. #1 Reason I love them today is that I left my briefcase after my meeting. Major problem. I had to Doctor clients files in there with all of their financial information. Almost had a fucking heart attack. Raced back there after and they had it in a locked room waiting for me!!! End of business cannot come quicker today! Thank you Starbucks staff for saving me butt.

This is not a «come hunker down and study for hours» type of location. It’s very tiny and seating is limited. In fact, it’s not even a good location if you want to hang with friends and catch up. This is really more of a «thank god there’s a Starbucks in the neighborhood» location. However, I am thankful as it’s quite convenient to my STL life. Staff is incredibly friendly. More so than most locations — I have great conversations here. My orders are always perfect. And I love their tip jar, it’s a poll of sorts, and always fun. Parking in the CWE is a pain, but there is street parking available, you might need to circle a bit.

It’s Starbucks, but anything in CWE has to carry its own swagger, and this little spot, despite being near Coffee Cartel, manages to squeeze together plenty of seating in a small spot and has some great service. It’s also conveniently across from the Chess Club and right next to the Chess Hall of Fame.

This place is tiny inside and by tiny I mean claustrophobia-inducing. But the saving grace is the lovely sidewalk seating. And, of course, there’s free wi-fi. I enjoyed an iced latte here Sunday morning while reading the news on my phone and it was a nice setting. The egg white, turkey bacon and white cheddar breakfast sandwich was better than I expected it to be — it was just enough to fill me up without making me feel too full.
