This business is now CLOSED. I had never been in this store before I got the email that they were planning on closing and all remaining merchandise was 70% off. So a couple weeks ago, I dragged the very patient Christine F. with me on a shopping binge in the CWE starting with this store. To sum it all in one sentence, I can see why it closed. Set back in a unassuming storefront easily missed, it was full of overpriced trendy merchandise set at price points that were always too high for the regular consumer. And I say that because even at 70% off, it was hard to find something that I loved at a price point that I would also jump at. I understand that they were all«brand names», but you know, there are also«brand names» with different price ranges, which would have probably served the store better. There was a variety of clothes, and there was a lot of merchandise in the tiny storefront, even given the fact that they were closing in several days. From casual to the trendy to the formal, the boutique did have a good selection of different outfits for different occasions. There was only one dressing room, which actually didn’t even have a working light or hooks for clothes. I think it’s sad that St. Louis has lost another locally-owned store, but it seems like the owner is going to be all right… she’s headed to Europe.
