I am basing my rating solely on the standards I have for Asian cuisine in the Midwest/St.Louis. The bubble tea is consistently good. It’s not top notch like Boba Guys in SF or some places in LA but again, St. Louis isn’t known for being a hot spot for Asians the way SF and LA are so EVERYONEJUSTCUTITSOMESLACKOK. Anyway, the bubble tea menu is fairly extensive and as mentioned, it’s consistently good. I haven’t had a bad experience with the texture of the tapioca balls or the flavors. As for the food, honestly, I’ve only tried the spicy fried chicken and it is SOGOOD. I love fried foods that are perfectly crispy and have added flavor. The fried chicken has a pretty authentic Taiwanese fried chicken seasoning/flavor(how do I know this? because I lived in Taiwan for 6 years and visit Taiwan annually). I will have to try their beef noodle soup and other entrees to get a better sense of how authentic the food is but for now, I am satisfied. Prices are very reasonable and the people working there are always super friendly. The service is quick as well!

Overall I was pretty pleased with the food and bubble tea. We tried the milk tea and Thai iced tea. Delicious. We also ordered the crispy chicken. This stuff is addicting as hell, but very filling and I’m not exactly sure what part of the chicken they are frying here. The beef stir fry noodle was tasty. I hoped for more veggies and less noodles. Too many noodles here. General tso’s chicken was delicious. Real white meat chicken which is hard to find in the fast food, take out Chinese restaurants. Only complaint here is that there was far too much sauce. I could drink about a hundred of these bubble teas.

I’ve always been to the location at the Loop and this is my first time at this location. Disappointment on my orders in that the noodle soups that I really wanted were unavailable, namely the beef stew noodle soup, which is usually to die for, and anything vermicelli. However, the beef stir fry noodles are really good too, and they have amongst the best spring rolls around. As for their drinks, you can’t go wrong with anything ordered. My favorite will always be the ginger milk tea. Without boba. :)

An awesome spot to hang out with friends. One of the best places in town that serve bubble tea plus I live the variety of their menu. Reasonable price.

Ok so if anyone asked me what my favorite place in the city was I would without a doubt say St. Louis Bubble tea! 5 stars hands down! I’ve been a customer since the business opened over 10 years ago in the Delmar Loop and since moving to Maryland Heights the Olive location has been my go to HOWEVER the new staff that has been hired within the last couple of months really suck! In 10 years I’ve NEVER had any problems. I’ve had 2 situations piss me off within the last 2 weeks! And it’s the NEW people working there that are the problem! A tall jock like white boy with glasses RUDE! After telling him 3 times what I wanted he got an attitude after he made it wrong and told me they didn’t have that on the menu. No shit Sherlock! It’s a custom drink that I’ve been ordering for 5 years!!! A young lady apologized for his ignorance and remade the drink I ordered no problem. Her customer service A+ …his on the other hand I hope he finds a new job soon. Although I enjoy seeing little Henry grow with each visit I hate to say that I probably won’t revisit this location anytime soon :(

I haven’t been here too many times but I haven’t been disappointed yet. their bubble tea is pretty solid and the food that I have tried from here have been pretty darn delicious. I usually get the taro bubble tea. I’ve also tried the orange chicken. both delish. I like to treat myself to this place whenever I go out to the county. keep in mind there aren’t many parking spots.

Bubble Tea is an interesting beverage. If you don’t know what it is and you want to know, google it sometime. It’s worth trying. The restaurant also sells a whole list of other typical Chinese food items, a lot of it deep fried. The portions are huge and the food is tasty. Eating in the restaurant itself is, interesting. The acoustics are such that everything echoes back extremely loudly and the chairs make a horrible squealing sound when moved, amplified greatly by the acoustics. It’s very, very loud in there. Conversation stops entirely when the staff uses their blender to make one of their bubble teas. I give them three stars for their dining experience, but carry out will be much better in your ears and your sanity so I give that four stars.

Probably the best boba I’ve had in the midwest. That doesn’t say much though. Typical midwest boba prices.

The peach snow is my favorite. I love to get popping baba added. I’ve had the chicken low mein before, it’s a huge size and it taste very good. Definitely recommend it. They have a huge menu with plenty of flavors to choose from. I’ve never had a bad experience!

Been coming here for over 10 years and still love it. My favorites are the iced coffee, taro milk tea, green bean slush, and matcha green tea snow. Everything with boba of course. Honestly, what’s bubble tea without boba!?! The food here is also pretty legit. The stir fry beef noodle is fantastic. Almost tastes like my mom’s homemade stuff! And THAT is the highest of compliments.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here for years. I always go to the Olive location as opposed to the Delmar location for 1. Delmar location is always crowded and filled with so many college kids that I can’t take my younger sibs 2. The staff are a lot nicer and have not messed up on my drinks once. Delmar has messed up on my drinks a couple of times and to ask them to fix it seems like a hard task cause of the crowd flow. 3. Olive’s public restroom are A LOT more sanitary. by a wide margin. While bubble bea is not as popular in St. Louis as they are in California. I find that the drinks are better here. Maybe it’s because I’ve been coming here for so long, but when I visited Cali 3 weeks ago and had their bubble tea, it wasn’t the same as our St. Louis’ bubble tea. This place is a gem. Love their beef stir fry, love their spicy chicken app, and absolutely love their soy sauce chicken. For the individuals that haven’t tried this place yet, here are my recommend favorites. Bubble Milk tea w/boba Lychee Snow w/boba Longan Snow w/boba Pineapple Snow w/boba Wintermelon juice w/mixed jelly and milk pudding Wintermelon milk tea w/mixed jelly and milk pudding Taro snow is good too, but definitely a lot sweeter. Been coming here for a long time. Nothing is as good as those in the west or east coast but for stl, it will suffice. They serve a variety of hot and cold drinks from snows(creamier slushie) and slushies, milk teas, juice, etc. They are most well known for drinks that have«boba» which are tapioca balls which originated from Taiwan I believe. They offer food also which have all been good if you’re craving saltiness to go with your sweet drink. I haven’t tried any food I haven’t liked yet there. I normally order royal milk teas, green tea snows, taro snows, mango snows. Food wise I order the fried pork chop, crab Rangoon, beef noodle soup, and spicy chicken nuggets. Pay in cash unless you’re ordering bigger orders. The place could be a little cleaner though. They added a portable fire place but didn’t really keep me warm lol… looked like more for décor. There is another location in the Delmar loop.

I don’t know what bubble tea is. But I was driving by and saw painted on the window: eggrolls and crab Rangoon. That got me. I went in for eggroll(2/$ 2.90), crab Rangoon(6/$ 6.25) and combination fried rice($ 8.25). The eggroll — not specified on filling — was OK. Mostly vegetables. The crab Rangoon was OK. The combination fried rice was mostly rice. I found some shrimp, and some unspecified and poorly cut meat in nasty shreds. It was a massive serving, good for four meals, but it needed a protein infusion. They asked me about sauces. I told them what I wanted. They were skimpy with the little packets, and they didn’t have hot mustard. This was $ 16.58 for not so great. Yeah, I know it rhymes.

I came to this establishment expecting an icy treat after a long day. I asked about the chai green tea slush, since I like both green tea and chai, thinking it would be a good combination. It tasted very pungent, kind of like a freezer burned Eggo. No big deal right? I’ll get a different one. The girl pointed to the sign and told me that they don’t give refunds or exchanges. The sign said, «Know your flavors.» How could I «know my flavors» when I had never had it before? I have never been to a place where a dissatisfied customer was SOL if they were unhappy with what they got. It wasn’t like I could sample it first. It wasn’t like I was a kid trying to pull one over on them. I will not be coming back. And I get the feeling they don’t really care either.
