I just bought new furniture for my living room and thanks to George my selections were perfect. He didn’t just help me with the transaction he actually walked the store with me to help me pick out the perfect pieces to fit the room and his insight was spot on. The furniture was delivered when they told me it would be and the guys that delivered it were so nice and friendly. I had one piece that had a very small scratch so they reported that and I had a call within 30 minutes for someone to come out and look at it. Mike came the very same day and his repair was amazing, I can’t even tell where it was! That was a much better option than having to have them deliver a new piece. Everyone went above and beyond and my experience was great! Rothman will always be my first stop when searching for furniture! Thank you George and thanks to the Rothman staff!

We looked up sectionals online in advance and knew what we were going in for. It was an easy and no pressure experience. When we walked in we were casually greeted and offered any help if we needed it. No one hounded us. We found two sectionals we liked, both a great deal. Our sales associate, Tom, appeared to sense that we needed time to decide, so instead of putting up a typical pressuring sales pitch that no one wants to hear, he excused himself for a few minutes. This is exactly the type of salesman we want to buy from. Not pushy or seeking the biggest sale. We ended up buying the exact couch we went in for and walked out satisfied. Tom was a friendly, easy-going guy who didn’t pressure us into anything, and we got a great deal and a great new leather sectional. Very satisfied.

After relocating and not bringing much with us we needed many different furniture items and didn’t want to pay a lot all at once, so we ended up at Rothman. Their furniture is not the best quality and the prices reflect that. We ended up spending over $ 4000 there. The salesman seemed overworked and to have a strange medical condition but he kept assuring us he was ok all the while wincing in pain. He took forever to put our order together and tried to overcharge us on a few items. In the end he undercharged us on an item and then went on about how in trouble he will be and asked us to pay more. All the while, who I assume to be his boss, was watching from afar the whole time which was very uncomfortable and the salesman kept going back and forth between him and us. When we finally got our furniture the people commissioned to put it together were quite insistent that I check everything to make sure it is ok. After I inspected the items, several items needed repaired. Their solutions for repair so far have not helped the situations at all and require several repeated attempts. For example, due to a damaged bedrail, two new ones were brought in but they put the bed together crooked and now the mattress has a huge slant to it.

Five well deserved stars for friendly, knowledgable staff, great prices, and good quality furniture. I purchased a bed and mattresses from this store and five years later they are still in excellent condition. The staff on both occasions listened to what I wanted, didn’t try to up-sell, and gave me time to think and try everything to allow me to choose the best furniture pieces for my needs. I picked up the things we purchased so I can’t speak as to delivery service. The parking lot is deceiving-go inside!

If I could give zero stars I would but sadly you can’t do that. Do not purchase anything from rothmann. They are a bunch of gypsies and shysters. I have been calling for 5 months to get the broken finials on my daughter’s bed replaced because the originals were broken when I got them. I finally received the new ones today and go figure those are broken too. I have received zero help from the or customer service and I had to speak to someone new each time I called and re explain the whole story again. Totally rediculous and I was told by the last csr that the president was going to personally make sure I received them. Ha right.

Upon entering the store, we were greeted by David. he directed us to the area we needed and left us to our own devices. He would check in every so often to answer any questions or give input. We bought a lovely couch.

Showroom is cramped, but they have a good selection. We have gone in there a couple of times to buy, both on weekends. Sales people don’t stalk because they are busy… We actually had to wait for a sales person on our purchase. The reason they get 2 stars is because of the merchandise. Let’s just say you get what you pay for…

You pull into the massive parking lot and wonder if they are still open. You walk inside and all you see are shadows of what used to be great. It very much has the feel of a St. Louis institution that once was… That being said, this location has a huge clearance section that we found a lot of great deals in. We ended up coming back later in the day to score a new rocking recliner from that clearance section for our nursery for only $ 188. If it has anything going for it… its affordability. Even the new items were notably cheaper than the current furniture powerhouse, Carol House. The employees were… sufficient? They managed to sell me(er, ring up) my chair. They did say they were understaffed that day… In short, don’t expect much and maybe you’ll find a good deal I’ll go back for the prices, not the service or presentation.

My God, I thought we’d never find a place to park. Searching for a parking space here was like holiday shopping at The Galleria. I do not know how many times we had to circle the lot before we found an opening. Ha Ha, just kidding. As George N. says, this parking lot is gigantic and only has 4 or 5 cars in it at a time. Makes me wonder, what this use to be before a Rothman’s that it needed such a large parking lot. Our salesman looked as if he were an extra on the show, «Jersey Shore». If you can stereotype used car and furniture salesman, he fit the mold. He was slick, smooth talking, but not overly pushy. He said something to the effect of, I am not here to «sell» to you, but to «assist» you in finding what you need. He showed us an area that had all of their club type chairs lined up in rows like little soldiers. He then scurried off to greet another customer. He was good at bouncing back and forth between customers. The row of chairs wasn’t much for visual merchandising, but it made it easy to walk down the row and say, «No, No, Maybe, No, etc. etc.». Our salesman also pointed out their clearance area which was in the next room. The clearance room reminded me of the Island of Unwanted Toys, each piece wanting to be in a home for the holidays. After living in Saint Louis for 33 years, I finally visited Rothman’s and I can tell you it is not my style of furniture. Not sure who their demographic is, but it is not me.

This place somewhat reminds me a small used car dealership. All the merchandise is packed together in a wide open building, with random home décor scattered around. I question the quality and craftsmanship of a majority of the furniture, and would not consider it for furnishing my home. I didn’t pay too much attention to prices since nothing in the showroom was too appealing.

Rothman’s …what can I say. I kind of feel sorry for this place. I think they are in the Guinness book of world records for having the most gigantic parking lot known to man, the thing is, only four or five cars are using it every time I drive by. Rothman’s specializes in traditional furniture predominantly. I found them to be outdated, but I guess that’s my opinion on it. Its stock probably suits the Crestwood/Marlborough community so I understand the location and the stock selection… more of a «county» feel to everything. Staff was real friendly, and actually came to see if I needed any help. The prices were actually a bit high for the said furniture. I recommend this place to more of an older demographic, nothing too appealing for younger people here.

Hmmm… I didn’t care for this place. Totally uninspriing and boring furniture that costs a fortune for what it is. The one thing I halfway liked was a small side table which was nearly $ 300 and looked like it shouldn’t cost any more than half that… craziness. Everything I saw was completely overpriced and outdated; of course I could only last five minutes, though.
