This food is just ok. I ordered it because my usual favorite Chinese place is closed on Sunday’s and I had my mind set on Chinese. The hot & sour soup is spicy, which I like. The Crab Rangoon is very sweet tasting — lots of cream cheese, not a lot of crab. I like Crab Rangoon that has a little more flavor like garlic so these weren’t that great to me. Chicken Lo Mein and Hot Braised chicken are both ok. Everything is just ok — nothing was really good in my opinion. I just know now not to plan my Chinese delivery for Sundays!

Love this place, and they deliver quickly. Love quite a few of their menu options, but my favorite is the Hot & Sour Soup with crispy noodles. Highly recommend!

First two times we enjoyed it. However last night they were busy and it was not as good. The sweet and sour chicken was too breaded and beef and broccoli was too watery, but both of them were still okay. The mushu pork was so bad we didn’t eat it. The other time none of these were problem. The prices are very reasonable and we will give it one more try.

Rewind to about a year ago. I was pregnant and seriously craving Chinese food. We called our tried and true Chinese food restaurant (which had been going downhill for a while) for delivery. Food comes, and it’s putrid. It didn’t look or smell right. I wasn’t about to risk my own health, let alone the health of my unborn child, to test the cashew chicken that sat before me. I immediately threw away both my food and my husband’s and cried. I just wanted a delicious Chinese delivery dinner, was that so much for a heavily pregnant and hard-​up-​for-​Chinese-​food woman to ask? I then consulted Google to find the next closest Chinese restaurant. Found one, called it, no answer. On to the next listing, China 1. I ordered the cashew chicken and my husband ordered the hot braised chicken. It was the best Chinese food either of us had eaten in a long time. It was so delicious, and piping hot. We’ve been ordering regularly ever since, and they have yet to fail us. Every time the food comes hot and fresh. We love China 1 and wouldn’t ever consider going back to the last place. If you’re considering trying this place, DO IT! You won’t regret your decision.

This is the best Chinese food in the area. I’m thankful to have found a reliable, inexpensive, and yummy Chinese delivery place! The lunch special is fantastic! So big and only $ 5! The egg rolls and crab ragoons are my favorites. But I also get the Orange chicken, beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian beef.

Decided to try a new place for my chinese fix and loved it! Beef with broccoli was HUGE and I loved the chicken fried rice that came with it. You could actually recognize what type of meat it was, which I’ve come not to expect from most chinese restaurants. It was 16.25 for a beef with broccoli dinner and a general tso’s dinner and each came with an egg roll and two crab rangoon, which I thought was generous. It also arrived at my residence incredibly quickly so there’s not much I didn’t like about this place.

I really like this place. Owners are friendly and the food is wonderful. We try new things when we go there but we always order their crab rangoons. omg those things are wonderful!

China1 is our «go to» for fast-​food Chinese! Their sweet & sour chicken is excellent. Lunch & dinner specials are great bargains, too.

Food is amazing. Service is great. There are few places in St Louis where you can consistently find food this good. I love the fried rice, General Tso’s chicken, and the egg rolls are some of the better ones around. Don’t forget to try the spicy dishes too for an extra bit of kick!

I practically lived off this place when I was going to school. My parents also own a Chines fast good place in California, and when I came here, it’s like having my dad cooking for me again. Food is always super hot and fresh and portions are huuuuge.
Orange beef is the best thing ever. I usually switch between BBQ pork and ham fried rice. The lunch and dinner specials are absolute bargains.
When I’m back in St. Louis, this is one of the places I’m stopping by.

This place is very near my home and great place to go when I need a quick meal.
Family owned, very nice folks — very accommodating to special request, extremely cheap prices and fresh food!
My favorite dishes are the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce (the shrimp are huge) and the Mongolian Beef. When I need something quick and healthy my go to special order dish is the Shrimp with Broccoli Steamed with no sauce. I put a few squeezes of siracha hot sauce… so good!
They deliver locally on orders over $ 10.00.

I ordered beef broccoli w/​rice + crab Rangoon + egg drop soup for $ 4.75 (lunch special). Nothing beats that price here is St. Louis. The couple who works here looks polite.
