The Premium Lounge is a laid back bar in the Grove. I usually go here when I don’t want to deal with crowds or I want a chill night out. I’ve only found there to be about 3 – 5 people in there on a Friday or Saturday night. With that being said, I always get great service and the staff is friendly. I prefer the Flirtini like Jennifer B does, but I like the peach. MMMMmmm. I want one in my mouth just thinking about it.

The Bloody Mary martini is amazing. The bartender we had the day I was there was great and was really helpful in pointing out the favorites and what we might like.

The Premium Lounge provides a nice, cozy environment. They make a drink called a «flirtini» that is great! You can get it in a variety of flavors, my favorite is raspberry. It’s much better than a martini. Its a mixture of champagne and flavored vodka, among other things. Tastes great and you can’t taste the alcohol(my kind of drink!). Drinks are a little pricey at $ 9-$ 10, but for the quality, they are worth the cost. The only negative about this place is their smoking policy. I don’t smoke and don’t particularly like to smell like a cigarette when I leave a place and don’t like to breathe in cigarette smoke. But, most of the times I have been here, there have not been many smokers around at all, so it works out fine! If they had a no-smoking policy, I’d give them 5 stars.

the place is great. It’s a shame it allows smoking, though. I won’t be going back until that changes.

Awesome! We went here last night for a friend’s birthday party. None of us had heard of the place before so we were a little skeptical, but we ended up having a great time. Its a nice-sized place, with a huge long bar and the ambience is perfect for hanging out and having a drink. Kimmi the bar-tended was working alone, but managed to keep the whole bar happy. She offered great drink suggestions, danced along to songs and remembered everyone by name. They also had emergency shots — if an emergency vehicle drives by the bar with lights and sirens blaring, then everyone gets a bar-tendeder’s choice shot for $ 3. The drinks were cheap but good, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was amazing. Highly recommended.

Great bar in the Grove! I’m surprised it doesn’t really have any Unilocal reviews yet — how long has it been around? I’ll agree with Adam P. and say that the consensus of the group is that Kimmi really helped make the night. It seems from the info down below that she’s the manager, too, so it’s reassuring to know someone so on top of their game is in charge of this place. She was a lot of fun and professional and fast at the same time. This is a smaller bar that allows smoking. The lighting was dark and comfortable and there were plenty of seats available — a whole bunch along the bar, some leather couches in the back, tall circular tables and stools scattered in the front portion. It seemed like it was going to be small for a group at first, but that turned out to not be the case at all. They have this interesting deal going — $ 55 to buy your own bottle of vodka, after which you only have to pay for the mixers until it’s empty. Apparently you’d save a bunch of money as a repeat customer! I also saw those VIP cards floating around, too — if I could have gotten 20% off my tab for signing up, I would have liked to have known about that. The drinks weren’t particularly cheap, which was the only letdown; they seemed about average or maybe a trifle on the higher side. Oh well. I don’t get down to the Grove all that often, but when I do, there’s no reason not to include Premium Lounge as a hop.
