If you are really hungry and want to eat quickly, drive to the McDonald’s on S. Florissant near I-70. If you are slightly hungry and have a decent amount of time for lunch, go to Cathy’s Kitchen or Vincenzo’s on S. Florissant. Only if you have two hours to eat lunch should you go to Marley’s. It takes around 90 minutes for them to serve an order of burgers and salads. The waitresses are not friendly or even aware of what is going on. When it got to be around an hour after we ordered we had to track down a waitress. The wait staff did not come by our table to refill our iced tea or water, so we were unable to ask about our order. The only thing that prevents me from giving Marley’s one star is that they had the customer service sense to give us our meal for free. One other note(a positive one only if there’s a game on TV you’re interested in): it’s rare that one can watch an entire college football game during lunch, but with Marley’s horrible service it’s possible there.

I have visited Marley’s several times. Some were to eat while other times it was to partake in a cold brew. Today I went to eat. I ordered the special, «open faced roast sandwich with mashed potatoes». It was a couple of slices of deli meat between two pieces of bread(not the traditional method of an open faced sandwich), instant mashed potatoes, and some subpar green beans. I feel bad for expecting more but it was on the special. Couldn’t you take a little time to peel some potatoes. Today it became apparent that most of the income and focus is on those that purchase alcohol. It is not about the production of quality food because that takes too long. Peeling a potato takes longer than the bottle of beer opener. Go somewhere that makes you, the one paying for a nice meal, a priority.

The heart of Ferguson. My favorite place in town. My friends and I were there again the other night. Sat on the deck. Good food. Great service. Great prices.

Quick service with a great patio. However, I wasn’t impressed with the food. I tried the special for the day, Open faced roast beef sandwich. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes were great but I don’t anyone can mess that up. The roast beef lacked flavor and the green beans were meh.

This has always been a favorite of my fellow brothers in blue. I finally tried it myself, and found it was a fine establishment. The drinks were well made, and the staff was friendly. Nothing I would go on about, but overall I left with a positive vibe. Not much more to say here, but no complaints.

Great parking and close proximity to Ferguson Brewing Company. Often times the parking lot at Ferguson Brewing Company is packed. I would recommend horiztonal parking rather than the current angled parking format. A crosswalk from the Marley’s parking lot to the Brewing Company would be an incredible help.

Let me tell ya, I work down the street and I often come here for lunch or drinks after work. The food is great and I’m currently drinking a $ 13 bucket of Bud(6 beers). Killer. I usually get the wings but I highly recommend the jalapeño chicken(grilled) sandwich. I like this place a lot. Here’s where the lack of the remaining star goes: Have you ever played one of those time-management games where you’re a restaurant and have to tend to customers as the come in and out? I don’t think anyone at this place has. When it is busy they are often over-visiting your table or or rarely ever checking on you.(I just saw a couple wait about 15 minutes before finally leaving.) It really only happens when it’s busy but it still sucks. That’s my only complaint. Overall: It’s a great spot and I usually prefer it over it’s neighbor Ferguson Brewery(which is also a great place.)

Great staff and friendly service makes this bar excel. I had the fish sandwich and would rate it one of the best, especially for the price.

Very impressive! Great little corner bar. Nice crowd for a Monday night. Not too many, not too few, just enough to not feel bored or alone. People are talking and smiling and the bartender has been fast and attentive. Most here are in their 20s with a few 50+. Jukebox is playing and the football game is on but muted. Prices are more than reasonable. $ 8 giant loaded nachos, $ 6 burger with fries. I will be back many times

Ended up here after we found out our local favorite wine bar was closed on Mondays(see Cork wine bar for that review) anyway… We wanted a bite to eat and a couple drinks so we saw the glow of Marley’s fluorescent signs beckoning us to try the establishment. No it’s not swanky Yes there are patrons of all ages. Yes the food is good! Yes the spirits are flowing and jukebox plays tunes from all generations now, then, and in between. Yes they have a nice patio. And No you will not pay a lot for your good time! For a Monday late night dinner drinks I was pleasantly surprised.

Me and one of my besties were hungry as heck and wanted something close to home, so we stopped in. We sat at the bar and was greeted with a «hello» and a menu. I ordered wings and an amareto sour because it was a weekday, LOL. Now let me just say that as simple as this drink is, NOTEVERYDIVE, BAR, CLUB, ETC. CANMAKEIT!!! So they made it good, with my fav Disaronno, which every place does not have as well. My wings came out and they were hot and good! They have flatscreens, so you can watch whatever is playing. The atmosphere was cool and there was parking off street too. The best part about coming here, which I always say, is that its local for me and I love supporting local businesses. I will definitely visit Marley’s again.

I love Marley’s. I love it for what it is. I love it for what it doesn’t pretend to be. I love it most for DJ Money. This place is the best on Tuesday nights. There is a hysterical mix of people, music and activities from darts to beer pong to booty-dancing. Seriously. I have never left this bar in a less than shameful state. The beer is cheap. There is fantastic people watching. DJ Money is clutch. His black and gold hat and particle-board DJ booth make my day every time I’m in there. I can’t thank him enough for entertaining me on a hot St. Louis night.

Thanks to my Grandma June, I discovered this place, as well as the budding restaurant/bar scene in Ferguson. All of which, including my Gma, are great. Marley’s with its relaxed bar feel, is spacious and fun. A great place to go with a family or a group of friends looking to shoot pool, throw some darts, or talk/drink for hours. The food is also superb. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, and was delighted to find that it not only comes with a choice of a side(a plethora of options ranging from different fry types to a side salad), it was enough to last me for two days! As a young lady with menial means and bills to pay, I was overjoyed that this meal kept on giving. A wrap saved is a penny earned in my book. Additionally, the side salad I opted for was the most surprising find. When I envision fun bars, rarely do images of good salads come to mind. Burgers? sure. Beer? obviously. Grandma on the bar with Jim and Jack? A given. Yet, salads are hardly ever a selling point, but with Marley’s I stand corrected. The side salad had great cheese and great croutons, and the dressing was fantastic. The light Italian was delicious. I was expecting the prepackaged type of dressing they serve in hospitals or fast food chains — the kind that force one to open with his/her teeth that then results in grand frustration and dressing everywhere but on the salad. Thankfully, Marley’s provided a flavorful topping to my greens that left me both clean and satisfied. The grilled chicken, be it in a wrap or on a bun, is also great. It is cooked to perfection with appropriate char marks and seasoning. On the other hand, sampling from my Grandma, her fried chicken strips and waffle fries were pure grease heaven, and, again, the portions were plentiful. From where I sat, it seems the menu can do no wrong. The service was also great. The waitresses had a sense of authority and professionalism needed in the bar scene. I wouldn’t cross one of them, but I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for a refill or extra napkins either. They all presented the perfect blend of business and friendliness. Super nice and super great at their jobs. Added bonus at Marley’s: The sodas are HUGE. Not once was I itching for a refill or feeling like I was drinking out of a child’s cup. I felt like a real woman holding the XXL cup full of cola goodness. You can drink for hours, which is what Junie and I did. We ate, drank, and talked the day away with the greatest of ease and the fullest of bellies.
