Nephews

Nephew’s is a StL staple, but never had it, considering that it was located all the way in North County (Berkeley, Mo). But when I saw on their official Instagram account that a 2^nd location will be downtown, I was elated! I live in South City, so I can patronize whenever the hell I want, lol.
Nephew’s-Downtown is located on Broadway, right across from the White Castle, Broadway Oyster Bar and BP gas station. It’s a storefront, NOT a dine-​in spot. You can either call in your order or go in the store. However, there is seating in place to wait for your food. Nephew’s has a great food and very reasonable prices. They serve breakfast all day and is open 7 days a week. They have an assortment of items, including: burgers, wings, kiddie meals and even STEAK meals. But what they’re really known for is their philly sandwiches! Their chicken philly is AH-​MAZING. Again, this is a BURGERS and FRIES joint, if you’re looking for something «upscale/​super fancy», don’t bother, it’s not here. So don’t waste time and save the negative reviews.
The workers and cashiers are very nice and pleasant. The customer service is really good.
My boyfriend and I are foodies and decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day over food from Nephew’s. It was perfect: he had the shrimp and steak philly, I had chicken. Both meals came with fries. The portions were more than enough, and it was great.
If you’re looking for a new place to try out or have a hankering for burgers or wings, definitely give Nephew’s a try.

Delicious food & great portion sizes! Try any of their phillys — pepperoni & chicken or chicken & shrimp are my favorite! Open all night — best take out in north county!

This Restaurant has great food at a reasonable price. I love the catfish dinner and the huge chicken club salad. They also have a wide variety of philly sandwiches. The only negative aspect of this restaurant is the location! This location does them no justice in regards to building a strong clientele in that area. I am happy that theyve decided to open up other locations.

Our office had Nephew’s today. We were impressed by the food, it was very good. However, on the menu, it states that they accept all major credit cards. When we went for payment we were informed that they do not take American Express. I think the menu should be changed to reflect this.
