Pretty good. Good General Tso chicken was tasty. Shrimps in Lo Mein were a little dull(lack of charring from wok and needed seasoning). Noodles were solid. Min delivery $ 20 with $ 2.50 charge.

We got take-out… Good, delicious, and filling Chinese food. The crab rangnoons are incredible! We loved the egg rolls. The fried rice and low mein were also just as good. We will definitely be ordering again!

Yum! First time here and it was on a whim and last minute. Read a cpl of reviews and felt it was worth it. Definitely worth it, vegetable loMein and vegetable fried rice was great and the crab rangoon was awesome. The egg rolls were ok they were a little bit short on stuffing but had good flavor. We had hot braised chicken, Kung pao chicken and beef and broccoli. They were all good, great flavor not too spicy and not bland at all. Overall it was good well priced and quick.

Wow… The Rangoons are redonkulous… First of all, you get an endless bag of Rangoons, it could happily feed 2 people as a meal. They are crispy, stuffed with goodness and eyes-roll-back-in-your-head delicious. You get a ton of food, I ate maybe 1⁄3 of my meal and I was relatively hungry. I ordered sesame chicken and it was okay, kinda soggy and a little too sweet for my taste. The Wonton soup was awesome and the fried rice was decent. I ordered delivery, it was pretty fast, the food was very hot and well packed. I was at a hotel and the driver called me to confirm where it was at, which didn’t bother me too much, even though I’d already given that information, then she wanted me to wait outside, which was kind of annoying… she said she couldn’t deliver the food into the hotel… I was especially annoyed when she pulled in, gave me my food, then walked past me into the hotel cause she had to «…say hi to her friends». No issue with her saying hi to her friends, but why did I have to wait outside? Anyways, the Rangoons would have given this place 5 stars by themselves, they are that good, but the service was mediocre at best.

De-Freakin-Licious. Best Chinese food experience I’ve had in the STL area, and second probably only to Wo Hop in NYC, in terms of every Chinese place I’ve been to. Best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. I also had their shrimp egg rolls(unlike many Chinese joints, here you can choose between different kinds), shrimp lo mein, and steamed dumplings. All were fantastic. The egg rolls had small, whole shrimp(kinda…different, but hey, you know you’re getting plenty of REAL shrimp!), and I assure you that my order of lo mein had at least 2 dozen shrimp. No skimping here. The container the lo mein came in was bursting at the seams and packed full, and yet the noodles didn’t stick together like glue when I opened the package(due to over-cooking), which you’ll experience at many places. FYI the lo mein has mushrooms in it(yummm!)…just letting y’all know since I know mushrooms are a somewhat… love/hate food item lol. Icing on the cake? They actually give out fortune cookies with their orders. This is becoming a very rare thing *sad face,* but this Chinese joint still does it. They DO take credit cards, and they have a pretty wide delivery radius. Just a couple’a downsides: $ 20 delivery minimum is pretty steep. Still, at least they deliver and didn’t demand that I go to the bank to get cash lol. Further, I think they charge $ 4 or so for delivery. That, or the menu here is pretty out of date re: prices. At any rate, don’t expect a receipt. Mini update: I tried their shrimp with lobster sauce today(1÷5÷15) and sadly, yuck. The peas tasted frozen(and fermented, if you can figure that out), the sauce seemed watered down, and the shrimp were mushy. Blech. Won’t be ordering that dish from this restaurant again. Everything else, as always, was fantastic.

I chose this restaurant due to the convenience of its location. It wasn’t a good choice though. The food was not that good. Went in for shrimp fried rice. The rice was sticky and I could barely tell if it were fried or not. Also the shrimp didn’t taste that done. I ended up re-cooking the shrimp at home. But even with extra sauce added, I didn’t really enjoy the meal. I was so disappointed. Wish I had gone somewhere else.

The very first time we ordered they lost our ticket and so by the time we called and got our food it took nearly 3 hours. The driver was very unprofessional when she came trying to cast the blame on the fact that they lost our ticket order and never made it. We were promised half off our next meal and when we called back a few weeks later they tried to give us 10 to 15%. For having waited 3 hours and then not being given what we were promised these people shouldn’t even get one star. Unfortunately its the lowest I can give. VERYVERY unprofessional, the food wasn’t memorable and they are sloppy and untrustworthy.

Ordered via phone for delivery which was slightly difficult due to language. Without a receipt I’m not sure if I got only 1 order of Lo mien & crab Rangoon. The total price was $ 17 delivered which seemed a little high. I did get enough food for 2. The house special Lo mien came in an overstuffed container so there was lots! I’d rate it at average. The big surprise was the Rangoon. Yes, they were overstuffed with slightly sweet crab & cream cheese filling! The shells were cooked to a crispy perfection. Again, I’m not sure if 1 or 2 orders were delivered, but there were enough for 2. I’ll re-order from here next time I’m in town if only for the Rangoon. Best I think I’ve ever had.

Love this place. The food is always fresh and still piping hot by the time I get it home. Generous portions(meaning you will have leftovers for lunch the next day). The three things I love about China Mooon is the Fried Wonton(the best I have had in Saint Louis), the steamed dumplings, and the Lo Mein. I always thought Lo Mein would be perfect if someone added mushrooms. And, lo and behold, China Moon does! Why only 4 stars? Well, sometimes they are slow(for example, do not seem to start my phone in order until I come in and pay, which voides the whole point of calling it in) and sometimes make mistakes(but this is not very often and they are good about custom orders).

Rice wasn’t fresh. Chicken was dry. I asked for just two egg rolls and got 6 and got charged for all 6. Will never order from there again.

I give them more than 5 stars if I could — THEYHAVETHEABSOLUTEBESTCRABRANGOON in the area. I can’t imagine why Jean P’.s review says it was«disappointing»… My family usually orders 2 extra orders of the Crab Rangoon and I know that most of my friends absolutely love it. Their combination means are a good value and the Hot & Sour Soup is GREAT(especially when you have a cold!). We order from them frequently — why go anywhere else? You can’t fix perfect.

My food is always prepared correctly, even when I ask for it to be prepared a specific way, ie… no veggies in the Lo Mein. Other places never get that right and have actually gone all dyslexic and added extra. Grrrr! The coconut chicken is pretty decent as well. I have never had a problem with the food being incorrect. Unlike China Fun, always wrong, so no fun! The service always very good.

Ordered some of this tonight. I got General Tso Chicken and Veggies with fried rice. Nothing special, tasted just like any other Americanized Chinese food. The prices seemed to be around the norm too.

China moon is one of the better chinese places ive been. They are good at rationing the meat and veggies very well so that you get a good blend. You get a ton of great food for your money, if you get the dinner plate any ways, that what we always seem to get. I have liked all of the things that i have tried, they are happy to cater to your spice needs, extra extra spicy for me, i tell the guy i want to drink 3 gallons of water with it, then he makes it right around that degree of heat. Food is out quick, and behind the counter they are clean, friendly, and cheap. five stars

5 Stars because their food and service is tops + they now accept OTHERRESTAURANTCOUPONS! ;) This is an interesting little place that is(imho) completely overlooked by St Louisans who commute hwy 170 a lot. Its only 5 – 8 minutes west of the hwy on St Charles Rock rd and nestled into a small shopping center with a nail salon, Shop-n-Save, and a Little Caesars pizza. If you think this sounds like a hoosier commakazee its because ITIS! I have been venturing to this little café(small enough) for over a year now and still love it. My wife and I either get a chick+veg+garlic sauce or a General Tso/Hot Braised Chicken and Broccoli and it never fails to satisfy. We order all of them spicy and the veggies are always crispy and plentiful as proportionate to the chicken. We also never fail to get the Crab Rangoons because they are the best I’ve had in 12 years here in St Louis. Not imitation Crab. No fried egg rolls here. Besides the food here I really like the family who runs it. The lady and her two darling daughters(toddlers). The kids always call me a bear(because of the paper signs). You’ll usually see them sleeping if you come in for lunch time. This is a small company, but they work hard and really love to serve people. I love it and I hope you will too. Let me know!

Stopped here for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered a beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, egg roll, and crab rangoon. The beef and broccoli was actually pretty tasty. I enjoyed the sauce, and there was lots of big pieces of broccoli in there(and not overcooked, soggy broccoli). Hubby had the chicken fried rice, and I had a couple bites. Nothing special, but how special do you expect chicken fried rice to be. Hubby also had an egg roll. I didn’t have a bite, but when I asked how they were he shrugged and said«fine»; take that as you will. I was disappointed by the crab rangoon, but I also have high crab rangoon standards. All most seem to be is fried cream cheese. Give me some freaking crab! I hate super sweet crab rangoon. Ick! The guy that took the order was nice — though a little strange. Food was out quickly. The actual look and feel of the place was pretty stock Chinese take out. We probably won’t be back here, but it’s more a result of 1) Not usually being out in St. John and 2) Rarely getting Chinese takeout.
