This place was just wonderful! It had a quaint coffee shop feel with friendly employees and bright atmosphere. The bubble tea was absolutely perfect and the food was well. Highly recommend!

Bought a «Coconut Dream» boba tea slush here the other day… Girl that made my tea was very nice! Slush was pretty gross though. WAAAAY too sweet and the boba were chewy and tasteless, a sign that they were not fresh. :(

Absolutely the best bubble tea in St. Louis. Bubba Tea has the friendliest service of any restaurant I know(everyone there always remembers us and stops by to chat), and the food– especially the homemade soups and Grecian salad– is so good. I heartily agree with the reviewer who called it the best Greek salad in St. Louis, a light, subtle version of the dish. The soups are made from scratch with very fresh vegetables; you can tell from the texture and taste. I had their rice noodle soup today and it was awesome. I never thought too much about most restaurants’ soups being pre-made or canned until I tasted the soups here. One reviewer remarked on all the bubble teas being made from powder, but they actually vary: some are made with powder, some with syrup, some from tea, and some are made with fresh ingredients. The banana flavor is over-sweet, but most of the other ones I’ve had have been home runs(love the black milk tea and green tea latte). I ESPECIALLY recommend their homemade soymilk, the most delicious I’ve had(though be aware that it is not always available, due to the process and its freshness). Bubba Tea is open for breakfast and lunch, though sometimes you can catch the staff staying late. Obviously I’m a chronic bubba tea addict. Drop in and stay for a bit… you’ll be glad you did!

This review is only based on the watermelon slush I got, other items may be better. The watermelon was not very good, artificial tasting, plus they charged extra for the tapioca. Place looked nice and staff were friendly. Think they’re only open for breakfast and lunch.

Another St. Louis surprise, but not in a good kind of way. We ordered a medium taro, the flavor of the tea itself was fine, unfortunately the pearls were so mushy that it ruined the tea completely. Overcooked tapioca does not work in any form in bubble tea. Cool place though.

Best bubble tea I’ve had in St. Louis. Way better than other places. I had the watermelon bubble tea, & it had this artificial taste. It wasn’t as powdery tasting as other places. I’m satisfied. I only wish they used the real fruit instead of the artificial powder or liquid.

I have stopped at Bubba Tea & Café twice for brunch and a smoothie. The smoothies are delicious and they come in a decent sized cup. The breakfast burritos are also tasty but they are a little small for the price. The staff have always been super friendly and talkative although it is sometimes tough to hear due to the loud air vents. Next time I go I am definitely trying their bubble tea!

The place was nuts busy at lunchtime and the line had to awkwardly go around some of the seats. And we were told that the bubble tea would take 30 minutes! ;_; I had the strawberry smoothie instead which was delicious. The BLT wrap with Ranch was also good, though a bit small.

I haven’t had anything bad happen at Bubba Tea, but I haven’t had anything spectacular, either. I’m likely just not getting the right thing. The few times I’ve stopped by Bubba Tea, I’ve gotten hot chocolate or fruit slushies. The hot chocolate hit the spot those times, but it wasn’t the best thing ever. Then again, I didn’t expect it to be; I’ve got Café Cioccolato for that. I thought that the slushies/smoothies would be made from real fruit, but it seems like they were made from a powder or syrup base. It was fine — maybe a touch too sweet — but it’s not the right thing for me, personally, when I’m craving a fruit treat. I haven’t had the boba stuff because I just don’t like it – not from anywhere. Blech. It’s just not for me. But I hear other people are ok with the boba tea here. They do sell darn fine muffins and cookies. Mmmmm… I’m all about their cookies. Yay for chocolate chip! Bubba Tea has a good selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads that I’d like to try one day. I don’t know why, but when each time I’ve walked by the café, I’ve only been in the mood for drink instead of real food. Since it’s only a few blocks from home, I’ll hopefully remedy that soon. The décor is great — sleek and homey all at once. You’re surrounded by light woods and steel. There are also a few cozy chairs for reading while you’re slurping your slushie. I get confused on their hours of operation. The hours aren’t posted on the door(not that I’ve noticed, anyway). Sometimes they’re open when I walk by after work, and sometimes they’re not. I just never know, which is likely why I haven’t been there for a sandwich.

Super friendly staff who went out of their way to reopen to serve my wife and I coffee. Can’t comment on the bubba tea, but the coffee was almost as great as the service.

Seems very much like a coffee shop when you walk in, but is very much little café with a huge selection of Bubble Tea. Paninis are made fresh and delicious, great place to get lunch and just chill out.

Completely unassuming yet smashing with awesomeness. The staff is friendly & make excellent recommendations. The food I’ve had is great and very reasonably priced. Their Greek salad is the best in the city — fresh, nice mix of green, tomatoes, pepperocinis, lots of yummy feta, perfect dressing and a soft wheat roll. This is the 1st and only place I’ve tried Bubble tea — and they have me hooked! A friend of mine that is a bubble tea aficionado says it’s the best she’s had. You MUST try a Blueberry tea on the rocks, with the boba AND fresh smashed blueberries. AND a Coconut tea — w/fresh coconut. Amazing!
