I always stop in here when downtown for clients! You can get a great cup of coffee for under $ 2.00! (unheard of these days!) and the woman who owns it is a delight! The shop is a bright, appealing space and a wonderful mixture of gift items, accessories, and even sodas and yogurt!
Right next to the Paul Brown lofts downtown. I’m all about supporting good local business!

Pro: Quaint little family-​owned business. Great service and smiles all around! Stop in for a quick cup of Joe, or to pick up a thoughtful yet unpretentious gift for someone. Owner/​manager Carolyn and daughter Violet are the unofficial «house moms» of the Paul Brown building. Their kind spirits fuel the warmth of The Perch.
Con: Perhaps a few outside seats could help draw in folks not in too much of a rush to ingest their morning caffeine.
Bottom Line: It’s like «Cheer’s» without beer. Go there enough and everybody will know your name!
