Brisket and wings were ok. Nothing special. I understand they have live music so my ratings are based on the food alone not atmosphere/​music.

This is a really nice place in an unexpected location. Great décor, really good food, and terrific music on Saturday nights. Jazz and Blues comes to Sunset Hills. The owners are very friendly and will do very well here. 5 stars!

Passed the litmus test right of the bat. You can smell the smoke right when you walk in. Follow that up with a charismatic owner that really cares about what he’s serving. Menu includes the standard smoked meats as well as some unique ones.

Popped by this place after getting out of the airport, we were heading south to Memphis. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Great local spot with a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The sliders and wings were top notch!

Terrible place hate to say it but the food was so fing disgusting and the drinks are like 10 dollars lmfao

Ok who would go to dinner in an Econolodge when you live here? We did and it was great. We had smoked wings and sweet potato fries ($ 8) to start. Outstanding. Then I had baby back ribs (4 bones) with slaw) $ 8. Sauce outstanding. Hubby had beef brisket and baked beans (½ lb) ($ 10) cut with fork. BTW 2 lb lobster fixed to ur liking. Or meal plus 4 drinks $ 50 plus tip

Get the wings. And the ribs. Oh the brisket too. Add some shrimp and scallops while your at it.

LOVED IT! The food, the atmosphere, the Owner, Gary the server… will definitely return.

We ordered take out the other night and it was really really good! We had the brisket and it was sooooo tender! Also had the shrimp and the wings. Oh yeah. And the sweet potato fries. Very yummy! Not a whole lot to choose from the menu but what we did have was very good. I will definitely order from there again! I should try eating in next time.

my wife and I went there last night for dinner, the place was dead, the table next to us the lady ordered the ribs and I could hear her the ribs were so dry and tuff she couldn’t even cut through them with the knife, but they gave her a new batch and she was good. in our case the wife ordered the ribs and I ordered the brisket sandwich the food was mediocre my brisket was ok but not a sandwich it was 4 pieces of meat and 1 piece of bread toasted and cut diagonal, I have had brisket where they melt in your mouth but it was not the case here very chewy my wife’s ribs were just ok the best thing we ordered was the sweet potatoe fries. if they plan on staying the food has to improve

This place is new; opened in January. The food is delicious and they have a large drink menu. It was a good atmosphere and they put the Blues game on for us. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

Such a great place… City vibe in the county. Great staff and owner. Food is delicious. Had wing and pulled pork sliders.. Live music where you can enjoy music but have a conversation. Used them to cater my Super Bowl wings!!! The owners are very very nice. She actually gave me her cell so I could reach out to her. Great new venue in sunset hills. Owner, Nes, is a hard working guy with a dream. They also have a fully decked out VIP room to rent

Not too bad I guess. I had a drink at the bar and it wasn’t very busy and then I got some chicken wings to go. Decent enough, not crispy. BBQ sauce was fine. Neither here nor there kind of place. It’s a tough location to make it, best of luck.

Passed @Nesby’s throughout the week and finally decided to stop and check it out. Found the environment friendly and spacious. Amber, our waitress, was excellent and gave us all the information we needed to make our order. Man, that brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries was excellent and went down in a hurry! They were getting ready to have a jazz band start up at 8pm so we did get an opportunity to listen in while they were setting up and getting the sound just right. Got to speak with the man, Nesby Moore, himself, who has taken his jump to fulfill his dream of opening a restaurant so the entire community can taste his wonderful food. I do hope everyone comes out to enjoy and get themselves some of his smoked BBQ ribs. As a working guy I don’t want to purchase a draft beer for $ 3.75 a pint (I believe he had 5 draft beers) so I inquired about the possibility that pitchers of draft beer be sold for a cheaper price. I have firsthand knowledge unless those prices come down that beer will turn bad because folks won’t hang out and help make it disappear. Enough said, it is a new start up and Nesby has his own vision and a willingness to be flexible enough to listen to the patrons. I will keep putting out the word if he will continue to improvise.
