So so good! Place is very clean, atmosphere & staff is great and enjoyable and food — even better! Started off with one of their breakfast specials: Eggs & Avocado on their homemade multi-grain toast(DELISH) I’m from California, so I love me some avo!!! My son had one of their hearty omlettes with potatoes and devoured it, he loved every bite and their OJ was fresh squeezed — what more can you ask for?

It doesn’t get any better than this! Great grub. Eat here. You will love it. Guaranteed. Ignore all of the marginal reviews as those people have lost their minds. They must have voted for Obama

My meal was tasteless, bland, unseasoned, gross. Maybe it was just what I got because the rest of my family likes their meal, maybe I’ll give it another try one day.

The food was amazing so yummy! But felt super rushed from the moment we sat down! 1st time we have been there so we kinda wanted to look over the menu they really didn’t have patience with us and as soon as we took our last bite they brought over a party of ten waiting for our booth! Super uncomfortable so we left! Thank goodness the food was good! Next time we might sit and enjoy our breakfast ! Or maybe we will try the crepery to enjoy our Sunday brunch!

First time visiting this restaurant and all expectations were held. I sampled the Kale Cooler, which was delicious. I ordered the Texas Skillet and the Key West sunrise to drink. They were both absolutely delicious! The waitresses were very nice also. I will most definitely be back for Sunday breakfast!

Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had was at this place. Pretty much everything you get is delicious. The location seems good but you can’t see it very well from bluff street or sunset but it’s in the stadium 8 parking lot.

We stopped here after reading fellow Unilocaler’s reviews. Visited on a Thursday at 10am with no wait to get seated. Decent bathrooms and clean atmosphere. My husband ordered patriot waffles and bacon which came out perfect. I ordered the Colorado scramble with bacon instead of ham and unfortunately the kitchen didn’t know what that meat waw and gave me ham anyways. I hate the texture of ham so I sent it back politely and the waitress said she would explain better to the cooks. A different waiter came back with my eggs and this time no meat at all inside. So again, I told the waiter politely and she apologized and got her manager who then brought me a couple slices of bacon but by this time my husband was finished eating and I was over it and te the scramble plain. The manager did take the whole scramble off our bill and was very nice but it took us way over our time limit for a «quick breakfast stop» to stay on time for our long drive back to California today. Probably won’t come back due to easy instructions not being handled properly twice. ***update: The business has reached out to me on Unilocal and are sharing this to help coach their staff in the future. I really appreciate businesses caring and quickly providing help so I upgraded my original review of 2 stars to 3. Good job!

We drive through St. George for road trips a great deal and we found the best breakfast spot at last! The hostess and our server were just delightful. Attentive at just the right times through out our meal. And the food was yummy!!! Our family ordered the Cambridge Skillet, Eggs Benedict, and Belgian Waffle eggspress. Everything was delicious and hot! I’m a hot tea drinker and my mug came already pre-warmed! And with a pot of hot water and a good selection of Tazo tea bags :) Rarely does this happen and it’s greatly appreciated.

So we were in st George Utah for a family function and looked up a local breakfast spot on Unilocal and we found this place. The service was good and the food was solid. I had the breakfast croissant and the bread was fresh and the eggs were pretty fluffy. Glad we found this place while out of town visiting the great state of Utah

Wow, we loved our breakfast. Great food, fast service, and friendly staff! We came after a long night shift. I enjoyed their choice of music too. The coffee was a little strong for our taste, they need a lighter roast for me.

When ever visitors or family come to town we have to take them to the«Egg & I» not your usual breakfast hangout but a unique menu full of delicious breakfast and lunch items. I like the breakfasts most but the lunches should not be ignored. We have tried several items but we have our favorites(I don’t want to influence you’re choice we are all different). We have family in Sandy and they say the one in St. George is far better. You owe it to your self to try it out. Be warned that it will be busy and they close at 2:30 p.m.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We enjoyed biscuits and gravy(fluffy biscuits, creamy gravy with actual chunks of sausage), veggie Benedict(fresh and well prepared), and a fabulous Acupolco egg white omelet. Service was quick and attentive; food was fresh and properly cooked; portions huge. A great choice.

This visit answered a lot of questions I had about this chain in other cities. One was whether or not it was a great option for being on the road. That is definitely a no, but it is AN option. Food quality was more or less the same level as Salt Lake, though I’d lean towards the higher end of breakfast places with The Egg & I overall. Definitely beats IHOP& Denny’s, but not up to The Original Pancake House. Technique here is a bit hit or miss. Waitress seemed to want me to throw down on over-medium eggs for the Hiker’s Benedict(same as I had in Salt Lake), so I did. It was just barely into over-easy, so I guess that’s mostly a win, though they missed over-medium by quite a bit. Flavor was only so-so, which is also what I’d expect from a kitchen at that level. Coke Zero mix was also slightly funky. Service was overall solid and the speed of getting the food was pretty decent as well. Very solid, middle of the road, nothing too out of the way on either side of the spectrum, neither particularly good nor bad.

It is the best breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at. I love it so much. Benedicts are to die for, and the cordon bleu skillet is AMAZING. The general manager is a clean freak so even the picture frames get dusted once a week. Adorable outdoor seating area and service is usually above average. I worked here for a few years and it is hands down the best food I’ve been around. The waits look longer than they are. The staff usually gets you in under or at the expected time. If you see a big crowd outside don’t be afraid of the wait, it’s probably a huge Mormon family or something. If you have 2 – 4 in your party you should be fine.

After a disappointing experience at Black Bear Diner, I stayed up, and visited this spot bright and early in the morning. I walked in at 7:00AM, was greeted after only a minute or two, and was seated. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and gave me time to review their menu. Once I put it down, it was only a few minutes more before she came by. The place was fairly empty, but nonetheless, I consider that exceptional service. Another reviewer had mentioned Sunrise Chile Rellenos, and their description sounded divine. After reading about them on the menu, I ordered them, along with a temporarily-offered iced mint green tea to drink. A peaceful wait later, the tea came, and then, the dish. It was perfection. The ranch-seasoned potatoes were perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and never unpleasant. The eggs themselves were wonderful. Wrapped around fresh, flavorful chiles, these eggs were soft and moist, yet not runny – and the cheese they were buried in was beautifully melted. I didn’t mind the lettuce shreds so much, and I understood what they added to the overall flavor. The dollop of sour cream, too, was an excellent complement. Oh, and their in-house red jalapeño sauce had a great flavor. I didn’t use much of it on my dish, but I just wanted to sample it; I then wound up buying a bottle to take home. In the end, I took half of the dish home – simply because it was so good, I had to share it with my fiancée. I wish they were open longer – I’m normally asleep when they’re open, and I can’t wait to go again!

Went for breakfast and it was great. Good size portions and great variety of food. Huevos rancheros were excellent. Liked how they left a carafe of water and the pot of coffee on our table. There was a long wait but the staff was nice and the food was worth the wait.

This was mine and my husbands first time eating here and I was really impressed. My husband got the texas skillet and I have never seen him eat a meal so fast that is how much he loved it. I got the crab cake eggs benedict and it was amazing. The crab cake tasted so fresh, like the crab had just been caught in the sea. Our waitress was amazing. She was really nice and helpful with giving us some ideas of what to order. I will definitely keep coming back here and I will ask for her every time.

I ate here for an early lunch today on my way up to do some hiking in Zion. As I went in by myself they left me standing there for a while before they would get me a table(it was ¾ empty) and that should have been a hint. I ordered their egg sandwich which in all my life has to be the worst egg sandwich I’ve ever tasted. First off, half of it was some nasty salad dressing/mayo that they seem to have applied by the tablespoon. Then the eggs were overdone and miniature, with tomatoes that were half green and I never could quite discern if the cheese had melted into the mayo or if they simply forgot the cheese altogether. . My waitress was good at some points but then would just up and disappear for twenty minutes(it took forever to get the check and then she never took my money or told me to go to the front). Based on both service and food quality, I suggest against going to this restaurant.

Visiting at. George for New Years, this morning we stopped in for breakfast, and overall it was a really good breakfast spot. Even though they were busy, they worked hard to get everyone seated our wait was a lot shorter than I expected. Our server was friendly, and took our order right after we were seated since we had time to pick out our meals while in the lobby m. The food arrived in a timely manner. The only areas of improvement, our server didn’t come by shortly after we received our meal to see if we were missing anything, or needed anything. I would have ordered an extra tortilla since the one I got was really small. The server didn’t check back for refills at all, which kind of sucked. Tip for the cook on the Mexican skillet: more potatoes than beans please. Otherwise it was super super delicious! Comments about the food: TASTY! My husband had the Persian Benedict I tried it. It was so tasty. My 8 year old had the strawberry banana waffles, he said it was the best breakfast he ever had. My daughter who’s 5 said: mom this food keeps making me more hungry I can’t stop eating.

«Well, sorry buddy, you should’ve thought of that when you were eating cheese omelet’s and sausages for breakfast every morning for the last thirty years.» — Kramer, Seinfeld Our 1st stop in the beautiful state of Utah on our western roadtrip. Clean, quick service. Fairly solid/standard breakfast fare. Very attentive staff and bottomless coffee cup. Hot sauce was refrigerated, came to the table cold — LOVE that. Good option for those taking the drive up to Salt Lake City or heading to Zion National Park.
