This restaurant doesn’t carry any beer except what they brew and Bud products. I sampled a few of their beers and they really weren’t good. I drink Ultra which the bartender seemed to find funny. She did make a good mojito however. We ended up leaving before we ordered dinner because we really wanted to just chill with a few beers(kinds we enjoy) and then eat. Oh well. The location is great, right downtown in the middle of everything.

Went at 10pm and they were serving only their late night menu(appetizers and pizza.) We were in no way disappointed — the pizza was awesome! Tried the Hefeweizen and the Chili Stout on tap, both were excellent beers. The Chili Stout had a very unique kick, and neither were bitter. The pretzel with spicy queso was good as well. Would definitely return. Great atmosphere also.

We went to a rehearsal dinner there(back room upstairs) recently and had a very good experience. There were only one or two waitresses for our party of 50 or so, but they did a good job keeping everyone happy. There was buffet food with barbecue that was outstanding. Their macaroni and cheese is to die for!

Great location in downtown Springfield. We arrived between 6 – 7 on a Saturday night, the place was packed. It looked as though there was an event upstairs consuming a bit of the seating. so maybe it’s typically a shorter wait? We were told it would be 25 minutes for a table of 2. Not a big deal to us, we chose to wait and grabbed a beer from the bar. We spent the 25 minutes checking out the merchandise, people-watching, following the basketball on the several TV’s, and admiring all the beer chalk art framed on the walls. The atmosphere is industrial but clean. A ton of brick inside with wooden tables littered throughout. The brewing equipment(possibly the bright tanks?) are only separated by a huge glass window so you’re able to see inside. Overall the beer was great, my mojito was not good. lacking in limes and mint, tasting watery. Maybe that’s my fault for going to a brewery and ordering a cocktail. Our server, Dalton, was fantastic and doing a great job with his constantly full section of tables. We shared the fried pickles to start. They were DELICIOUS. Perfectly breaded, crispy and served with a chipotle ranch. These pickles have a little kick. He ordered the burger & a salad and said it was ok. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying a few more things off the menu.

The foo, beer, atmosphere, and staff was awesome! I had the ribeye which was awesome! My friend had the bangers and mash which was awesome as well. I’d highly recommend Paul’s Pale Ale was a delicious beer too. They had a live band playing too when we ate. Very cool place to check out!

I’ve been here so many times and have never been satisfied with service or quality of food. We wait so long for over priced and unnecessarily greasy food. Once upon a time this place was alright, but the last several years I wouldn’t even consider eating here.

We had the best experience(service, food, atmosphere). We arrived at 12pm on a Friday, and although busy, the staff was very attentive and the GM Brian took us on a tour! Dalton, our waiter, was amazing. We ordered the chicken florentine pizza and it was great, came out quickly. I definitely recommend stopping by for a comforting, delicious experience.

Arrive early if you want to grab a table during prime weekend hours, I attempted to stop in for a quick bit to eat with some friends before a concert on a Saturday evening and was quoted an hour wait, so we declined luckily enough two of us were not going to the concert so we were able to stop back by later and grab a seat at the bar for a few drinks. Once we returned we quickly took a seat at the bar, the bartender was very friendly and helped answer any questions we had about their beer, she even provided several samples to help make up our mind. I ended up going with Paul’s Pale Ale and the Walnut St. Wheat, both were great beers. I also sampled the Aviator which was another solid choice. If you are unable to make up your mind you can always go with a flight and sample all their beers too. While sitting we noticed that there was a unique machine located on the bar and quickly discovered that it was for taking home fresh canned beer in a 32oz Crowler, the beer is poured from the tap into an empty can and its sealed. The beer is good anywhere from 3 – 4 weeks after being canned, I ended up getting a Crowler of Walnut St. Wheat to take home. In addition to beer, SBC also produces their own nonalcoholic root beer, it was so good that I even ended up getting a Crowler of that too go too. The atmosphere here can get loud, in addition to the dining room and bar downstairs there are also additional tables located upstairs. Overall SBC is a quality local craft brewer and if you are in the area I highly recommend making a stop.

Stopped in while on town for business – it was pretty much the same as I’ve come to expect from a lot of micro-breweries – great beer and ok food. The Rye ale and Pale Ale were both great, but the food was just a bit underwhelming. I had the sirloin with side of seasonal vegetables and sweet potato fries instead of the garlic mashed potatoes. On the good side, the 10 oz. steak was cooked right – pretty straightforward with a cross-hatch of balsamic reduction on top. The vegetables were a basic sauté of bell peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli in minced garlic. The sweet potato fries were«waffle» type and had a lot of cinnamon – it was almost like eating a bunch of slightly-sweet churros with your steak. It wasn’t bad, but the A-OK rating was won mostly by the beer – next time I would probably just go in for drinks, or maybe an appetizer.

While visiting my mom in Republic, Missouri we decided to check out the two breweries that we knew of in Springfield. Mother’s Brewery and Springfield Brewery. My mom hadn’t been to either, so this was a first time for both of us. We went to Springfield first because it opened first. We walked in and sat at the bar. I started with the Walnut Street wheat beer. This is a great beer to start with. Smooth and easy to drink. I also tried the Aviator and the Mudhouse stout. Both are fantastic beers. While sitting at the bar, a lady came over and noticed I was sporting a Colorado hoodie and CO purse. We started talking about breweries in Colorado. She then mentioned that there was another brewery in Springfield called White River Brewing CO. Another one to add to our list to visit for the day. Springfield Brewing has a great location and excellent friendly staff. The bartender was amazing!

Convenience, great atmosphere, and great food. Located in the heart of Springfield, Springfield Brew Co remains the top spot for many. As a place to go after a long week, this restaurant shines. The options of alcohol, beer, and specialties is excellent, the menu is full and flavorful, and hanging out with friends for a quick dinner before more work is wonderful. Although I have heard many good things about most of the food on the menu, a great«healthier» option is the California Grilled Chicken sandwich. The bun is average, but the chicken is juicy and is topped with a ripe avocado. Nice and fresh, reminiscent of Californian summers. The lighting and atmosphere is wonderful. Restrooms are clean and wait staff is really friendly. Food is delivered in a timely manner and checks are given in a «no hurry» but I’ll leave this here just in case basis. Overall, an excellent place to go to dinner with friends and enjoy the end of a fantastic week.

On our cross country drive we ended in Springfield, Mo. late one night. We needed a place that was good for us and our little kids. It was a saturday night, and 9 pm. We found this place off a list from the hotel where we were staying. The place was great for us and for our kids(4⁄5). The food was amazing. I ordered a burger and wished I ordered something else as what my wife had was amazing. My burger was good, but I wish we were staying longer so I could visit again. Maybe someday we’ll return.

It appears olé Brew Co is starting to get back to it’s old self again. The meatloaf I had was good, and the vegetables were fresh. I was a little shocked at the sticker price. Pretty much everything on the menu is $ 12… Which seems a little high even if everything is fresher, and healthier. I’d give it 5 star’s again, but the prices kept me from doing so… Other than that; good food, and great service as always.

I’ve always liked the idea of SBC, but I’ve actually never liked it. I ate there years ago and wasn’t in any rush to return, and it’s even in the downtown area where I like to hang out – so it’s not like it’s out of my way. I recently had my 10 year high school reunion here. They have a banquet room that was perfect for the occasion, and the servers were really great and made certain everyone had drinks, they cleared away our appetizer plates, and were quick to help, but… meh? I don’t know. The food that was laid out wasn’t outstanding. Like, it looked good: fresh fruit and veggie sticks, tortilla chips and a spinach artichoke dip that was good, but, like… how do you mess that stuff up, anyways? Then there were some meats like chicken tenders and meatballs. I tried one meatball and it really reminded me of a frozen meatball cooked in a slow cooker, which was probably exactly what it was. I don’t know. Kind of like my other experiences here: it’s fine, but why should I really come back? So the venue is great and the drinks were good, but the food just never really wows me.

Great meal, awesome craft beers, music on the roof and sports on the tv at the bar. Perfect for any group. We visit Springfield once a year and this is our annual end of vacation meal. Great way to wind down and mix with the local flavor. Love.

I’ve been to to a lot of different brewery’s and they all make there own different kinds of beers. So I ordered a flight of beers. Out of the six beers the Walnut st. Wheat was the only beer I liked. The other five had no real favor. The food on the other hand was great. Had some hot and BBQ chicken wings for apps. The hot sauce wasn’t to hot and the BBQ sauce had a sweetness to it. The chicken wings where fresh and pretty good size wings. I had the Brewco nachos with pulled pork. The homemade queso was the key to the nachos. The pulled pork was tender and delicious. The jalapeño were HOT! If I ever go back hopefully they have different beers on tap.

I don’t know where these reviews are coming from that slam the food here. I think Brew Co has fantastic food, and a lot of it is made in-house. You can tell it’s not frozen and pre-made, and that’s hard to find. I’ve had lots of things on the menu, and my go-to is the black bean burger – it’s delicious and I always opt for the peppers and onions on top. I’m not a vegetarian, and I don’t always default to the ‘healthier’ menu options… the black bean burger is just THAT good. I love their sweet potato fries-granted, they are different every time I order them. Sometimes they are soft, sometimes crunchy, sometimes tossed in lots of sugar and sometimes not. I don’t care. That shows that they are always cooked fresh and I like that. There are specials written on the chalkboard on the stairwell if you want to try something new, but the menu is full of options and the portions are huge. I tend to sit upstairs at the bar-the bartenders are very nice and the service is often faster than if you sit at a table. I HAVE been seated at a table, and the service is notably slower… but I could be spoiled to the speed of the bar. The servers have more tables than just me. :) Another plus to going upstairs is you can also sit outside on the patio if it’s pretty(plus, they are dog friendly! I’ve brought my dog here plenty of times). Plus, there is a lot of times I’ve been there with live music and there is never a cover… good food and good music-what’s not to love? I also do not agree with their beer selection being slim. It is a BREWERY. Don’t expect a bucket of cheap domestic bottles. They brew everything served in house and will give you a detail sheet about each beer if you want to know more. They make limited batches of seasonal brews(which stinks if you get attached to something like their Mudhouse Stout and want to drink it during the summer). You can get six packs of some beers as well as order kegs from them. Plus, they are active with the homebrew association and if you’re lucky, you can get a special release that could be brewed by someone you know! Another plus to BrewCo is that they are active in our community. You could have a fireman or cop for your server, and their tips go to charity. It’s nice to have a local place with great food who is willing to host events like that. They have something for everyone and aren’t snooty. That’s a definite plus!
