My family and I often stop here when traveling to or through Eugene which we do about every couple of months. It seems we always have a great experience. The menu has something for everyone and the food is fresh and wholesome. Tonight and in my memory, the service is fast and friendly and we always feel taken care of. I love their Quiche Lorraine and Caprese Salad. Yum! A treat most places like this wouldn’t have. Someone in our party tonight also had the BBQ pulled pork nachos appetizer which were also different and yummy. And of course the pies are great. A great family restaurant!

We’re trying all the prime rib in town, so this review is only for the quality of that item and nothing more. There’s is pretty disappointing I must say, over cooked, tough and chewy.

Shari’s is one of those chain restaurants, just like IHOP, Denny’s, and Elmer’s. I would say it’s a high quality than Denny’s and IHOP, but not as good as Elmer’s. Typically I don’t go to Shari’s unless it’s late and nothing else is open. The food is always consistent. Nothing special, but it’s decent. I like the fact it’s consistent. The pie is always good. I love the lemon meringue pie and banana cream. My husband likes the chocolate pie. Service is really the hit and miss part. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s less than decent. I’ve had to walk out a few times because I was ignored, or a waitress has a bad attitude. It’s one of those restaurants that is fine for what it is, but it will never be raved out. Will I return? I’m sure I will.

I had the New York strip steak last night and was very pleased. The steak was tender, juicy, had great flavor and very little fat. The bonus was free pie on Wednesday nights. The coconut cream pie was fantastic. My server was Sam and she was terrific. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say. Great food and service, good prices. This place beats the socks off IHOP and Denny’s.

After waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated I received a menu and then was ignored for 15 minutes. Finally was able to place an order after I got up and chased someone down. Should have left when I waited so long to even be noticed at first. Probably won’t be eating here again.

I normally have a nice time at shari’s. Tonight the manager sat us and got us drinks right away. Then for the next 25 minutes not one waitress came to our table. They didn’t even come to our side of the restaurant. We were right by the door so it’s not like we were hidden. They were not busy the two waitresses we saw were just helping customers on the other side. We got up and left the money for the drinks and left. I called the restaurant, and the manager that sat us picked up. She was nice and said she saw us get up and walk out on the video camera. If she saw that then why did she not see that not one of her staff had not even came by to take our order. This was the worst service I had ever had. I have never walked out a restraint like that in my life. I don’t think I will ever go back to this location. Not any time soon that is for sure.

After a very long road trip, I went to get a late night meal for my wife and I. I ordered it to go, big mistake, on my wife’s cod, shrimp, and chips, they forgot the shrimp and the soup, the fries were cold and just bad. It’s always shame when a place does this kind of thing.

This has become a go-to place for eating with friends. It’s open late, affordable, and on Wednesdays… FREEPIE! :D We are almost always seated quickly, waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the food is always tasty. Typical American chain restaurant food, but it always looks and tastes fresh and good. Chicken fried steak… yum. Good mashed potatoes, and the veggies are good too. Sour cream lemon pie… try it, you won’t be disappointed.

I loved Shari’s. The food was great and at good prices. They even plate everything all pretty! I also really appreciated the portion sizes, they don’t give you too much or too little. I definitely recommend their pie as well. I took off a star because my server was a bit inattentive.

We love Shari’s and this one has great service. My wife and I recently stopped in for a bite when we were not overly hungry. We told them we wanted to share a dinner and waitress graciously split for us with a lovely smile. We will be back!

We love Shari’s. Good service, good food, great pie, and it’s clean. Recently I ate there with my sister. I had a garlic mushroom burger and it was just what I was wanting! Burger cooked nicely to order, lots of yummy juicy mushrooms, and just right on the garlic. She had fish and chips, and claimed it to be among the best she’s had. You could tell how crispy the fish was just by looking. We had a really pleasant server named Morgan, who was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. We tipped server AND cook — between them, we had a truly yummy, fun experience. I’m no Anthony Bourdain, but I know what I like, and I like Shari’s on Pioneer Parkway

This is pretty much a staple for my husband, friends, and myself. The service is always friendly, they keep my coffee filled, and always let us hang around for hours without complaint. No, it isn’t five star Michelin dining… But it’s always pleasant and fairly good. I’ll take this place over many of the restaurants in the Eugene/Springfield area. The pie is probably the best thing here. Just avoid the strawberry cream. That’s not so good.

OK, I’ll admit it – I’ve only had their pie. Or pies. And they are good, at least the ones I’ve sampled. Not like mom’s homemade – she’d never do a whipped cream topping like that. Who could? But the meringue on the lemon meringue? VERY good. Or do the lemon sourcream. I’m a fan. Now, I’ll probably go to my grave before trying the Smores creation, but it’s good to know that there is a place in America where you can find such a concoction.

To be honest this is one of the last places still open on a late Friday night. Meaning there really is not a lot to choose from. Plus it’s on our way back home so it’s convenient. The shakes are always good and they have several varieties to choose from. We all ordered burgers. Each one of us was asked about how done we wanted the meat, yet we all got dried out and overdone. Thankfully for me, I was having the Caprese burger which had tomato and mozzarella slices with balsamic on it. That saved this burger from being nasty. I also had that tater tots which I love. There ranch dressing though is different than most other restaurants and I don’t care for it. The service was ok, but slow and they really were not that busy. I have been to others but this experience was not that great.

This is always a great place for breakfast. The quality of food and service is higher than what you get at Denny’s or IHOP, but not the same as a individually owned café. It seems that no matter what location you go to, the food/service are similar. Good pricing & great menu options. I recommend it.
