Addi’s is my wife and my favourite breakfast place. When we travel we actually judge all of our breakfasts by our own«Addi’s scale». We have been frequenting Addi’s(about once a week), for more than 17 years…(When it was still the old Rose’s). Addi, and all of her crew are absolutely THE best, and the food is great. I am really picky about how my eggs are cooked. They are rarely cooked correctly anywhere. At Addi’s I can’t remember a time when they were not perfect. Besides they have Finger steaks for breakfast, what could be better than that? I’d give the place ten stars if you had ‘em.

We got the big pancake! It was really good and reasonably priced. It was so big that my husband and I shared it and only ate half of it! We didn’t get anything else but plan on returning and trying other stuff :) service was awesome as well. Going to give a 4 star because only tried 1 thing on menu so far.

If you are lucky to stop by this little jewel in Oregon you will not retreat specially if Abbi is available as she is always busy at kitchen. You will want to stop everyone. Ask for little pancakes and you will be in heaven. Kudos to everyone that prepares food there. Keep it up and don’t stop …

Bomb food! Don’t come here starving to the point you’re gonna pass out. It’s small inside and we waited 45 min to an hour for a party of 6 but it’s worth every minute. The staff is super nice and accommodating… they went over an beyond to improvise when they were sold out of a specialty item. I would highly recommend this place for both service and flavor.

This place is wonderful, but it is closed on Monday and Tuesday. I go on Wednesdays and Thursdays because it is not so uncomfortably packed on those days, it is a small Diner so everyone is pretty that way elbow to Elbow but it is quaint in that way. Addie herself is very sweet and adorable she makes my day when I go there for breakfast the food is always quick to get to the table, and it is good home cooking. The giant pancake is enormous and if your can’t eat it, your can at least have a photo-op with a huge pancake :) The whole place is decked out in Atlanta Braves memorabilia, so if you’re into that kinda thing, I’ve never seen it taken to quite this extent. This tiny dinner is gaining a huge following of college students with hangovers, so whatever you do… don’t go there in Saturday/Sunday

If you want a breakfast diner that is cheap, tasty, and gives huge portions, this place is for you. If you’re looking for something more up-scale with higher-quality, organic, gluten-free, fair trade, hipster-buzzword-of-the-week then give this place a pass. I judge a diner breakfast by their biscuit. Most of the biscuits people have recommended in Eugene have fallen far short of the mark. They either don’t have much rise, don’t have much flavor, have a bready consistency, etc. My reasoning is that if a restaurant takes an extremely simple recipe and does it well, that they likely put that same care into cooking the rest of their food as well. I arrived hungry at 10:30 for a mid-bike-ride refuel, and had a bit of a wait because it was packed. After being seated, I was promptly offered coffee and my order was taken. I ordered a chicken fried steak with eggs over medium, a pancake in place of potatoes, and a biscuit. The food took a bit longer than I would have liked, even accounting for the crowd, but that could have been my hunger making me impatient. The biscuit arrived first, and as I mentioned earlier, I was judging Addi’s by this moment. It was do or die time. Fortunately, the biscuits are excellent. They’re a baking powder biscuit that they make fresh every morning. It had a great rise, was perfectly golden brown on top, had a great baking powder tang, and was moist and fluffy. Hands-down the best biscuit I’ve had in Eugene. Of course Addi’s isn’t even in Eugene. The chicken fried steak was alright. It had a nice crisp batter, but there were some chewy bites. It wasn’t quite as tender as I’d like, but it did taste good. The gravy was quite nice though, a nice sausage cream gravy with a firm, but not overpowering, rosemary flavor. The eggs were a nicely-done over medium, just right. When I order a side pancake, I usually expect something fairly small. This thing, however, was huge, overlapping the sides of the plate it was served on, which a huge glob of melting butter plopped right in the middle. I couldn’t eat half of it, but it was quite good, with a mild vanilla flavor. The coffee was the big let-down of the meal. It was weak, although it didn’t taste burned. Overall I find this to be one of the superior breakfasts of the Eugene area if you’re looking for simple rather than adventurous.

The food was amazing and the service was even better! We came for breakfast with our 15 month old daughter. The servers made us feel welcome. I love the fact that they have toys for kids to play with and even have sippee cups and toddler silver wear. Very kid friendly! It was definitely a family atmosphere when everyone was asked to sing happy birthday to another customer. I had the train wreck which was so good! It was so much food that I probably could’ve split it with someone else. The strawberry lemonade was super delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

Addi’s is a special little spot to bring guests, especially children! Ordering them the huge pancake is a must! There’s always the daily paper and Weekly to read besides the décor that is very entertaining. I appreciate that I’m able to order a huge side salad, even if it’s not exactly on the menu. They aim to please and have never faltered on providing a special request.

This place is a wonderful place to take your family! We had so much fun. The staff was super friendly and they were having fun with our kids. The food was good diner food… not out of his world, but good and the prices are marvelous. We will definitely come here again.

This little place is fantastic. Thought I’d try it out this morning and I’m so glad I did. I’m not much of a breakfast person but I can see myself eating here often. I had the corned beef hash and eggs with a massive sized pancake. Everything was cooked perfectly. The pancake was so dang good it almost didn’t even need syrup. The staff was terrific and my coffee cup was always being filled. They’re only open til 2pm but that’s the only downer. There was a waiting line out the door and I understand why. This place is a true gem!

Addis is why I wake up on Saturday mornings. This is hands down the best breakfast place in town… No wait the entire west coast. Me and my friends have been going for 4 months consistently and can’t miss one time because it has become a staple of our weekend. The food is awesome with a ton of classic breakfast choices and includes the biggest pancake I have ever seen. Also the food is so reasonably priced I feel like I’m robbing them every visit. The staff is excellent too. They are friendly and create a pleasant dinning experience. And it’s clear that they cares about the customers dinning experience. To sum it up Addis is the best. If you want good food and a good time go here.

Great little place. Had to come check it out with all the great reviews calling to me! Great atmosphere, real dinner feel. The staff are super down to earth and friendly. Food was great, they have spam. What else can you ask for. Wait is that a trashcan lid or a pancake. The biggest pan cake west of the Mississippi. This is a great little addition to this part of town. Hopefully we will be in town again so that we can come back.

A quaint diner with good prices and even better food. The portions were great as was the food.(The country gravy was delicious!) The staff were all very nice but because it is a smaller diner, wait can be pretty long for a seat during a busy time slot and also seems slightly dirty in certain areas. Pros: –Good food –Good portions(HUMONGOUS pancakes) –Good price –Cute décor Cons: –Smaller so can be a longer wait depending when you go

The food is good, nothing spectacular. But it’s a nice place to go for breakfast. I can honestly make the same thing at home. I do like the fact it’s inexpensive and locally owned. My husband loves the finger steaks, which are pretty tasty. The giant pancake is obnoxious because it takes up almost an entire table. I ate there this morning and wasn’t thrilled. I had diced ham and scrambled eggs. Unfortunately there was a pretty significant amount of egg shells in this, which I found about half way through my meal. I ended up spitting it up and having to rinse my mouth out several times to get it all out. So it wasn’t a small amount. The owner took the meal off my bill, including the side of gravy, because I sent it all back. I didn’t want a new plate because the egg shells just grosses me out. But she took care of it without a problem and apologized. So I’m impressed by that. I will go back because they do have decent food and take care of issues when they arise.
