Pro-Nails

Completely horrible.
I had to tell her what to do, she didn’t even take care of all of my manicure needs.
Everything was so rushed, and they were so Slow in there.
And what I walked out with, is embarrassing.

The reviews hold true. I went as a walk-​in and my experience was sub-​par. I asked for a French gel manicure and she only asked me twice what I thought of them the whole time. She kept saying perfect, perfect but I didn’t see what she was talking about until she went on to the next hand. I asked for the lines to be made thinner and she didn’t understand and just added another coat. I asked again and she said she would fix it later. With gel polish that is not really possible. The white lines are wobbly and not straight across. Not worth the $ 35 charged.

I go to Kathy only. She does a great job on my nails, and they never lift! The previous owners, I had gone to for many years but was just getting ready to go somewhere else because the nails lifted so much after just two weeks of a fill. Now I can go a month before a fill and my nails never lift! I would give 5 stars but the new owners do not keep the place very clean compared to the previous owners. Not filthy, just worn and not a lot of time spent on detail cleaning.

I’ve been going to this salon for many years. The biggest reason is it’s cheap and they take walk-​ins.
You get what you pay for, folks! Since the new owners took over about a year (or two ago) things have been going downhill for me. Unless you get «Kathy» expect to be treated with indifference and boredom. I usually get the older gentleman and he has injured me the last three times I’ve gone to him. Since I usually just drop in, I get who is available and it’s nearly always him. The first two times he filed into my cuticles and made them bleed. The last time he used the grinder under my nails and he ground into the top of my finger. When I winced and pulled my hand back, he was very surprised –almost as though he didn’t believe he’d done it and I made it up! Yeah, I can make myself bleed spontaneously; can’t we all? Even after that, I was charged 6 dollars more than I normally pay!
Three time’s a charm, Pro-​Nails. I’m never coming back. Convenience and cheap don’t cut it anymore.

I can’t speak about any nail tech but Kathy. She’s been doing my nails for 3 years now and she does a great job with shaping my nails.
The wait time can be LONG, so if you can, book an appointment. I see a lot of walk in people getting mad about waiting when she’s working on people who booked this time with her days ago. If your time is short, please just call ahead and solidify your spot.
I gave this place four stars because Kathy, Tony and Kim do a great job on nails and pedicures, but I cannot speak for the other techs and the wait time can be long, I’ve waited almost 2 hours once (last time I ever did a walk in).

I took my 92 year old mother there this morning to get her toenails and fingernails done.
The tech was very quiet, although I’m sure he speaks English. There was no communication problem. When I walked in, it was about 10:30 am and there was only one customer. Mom was up in a chair in no time, and so I went to sit on the uncomfortable waiting area to wait.
He did a great job! Moms nails look good, he didn’t hurt her and she was happy.
Will return… but bring my own reading material.

Very disappointed! Got a basic gel fill that was bumpy and tips of nails were crooked and jagged. Had made appointments to get designs for a trip to Disneyland, showed pics of what we wanted and was told they could do it. When we got there we were told they couldn’t do it. Why say yes if you can’t?!
