I love this Rocky Mountain chocolate factory location! I came here multiple times with my boyfriend and the salespeople are always friendly, giving out samples, always trying to help you with your choice and always tastes delicious! Even the manager who I spoke with a couple times is extremely nice! I love their candy apples and Carmel apples the most. I just wish they made their candy apples more! So good!

I went in to find out if they could do ELMO Candy Apples. I showed«Cheyenne» a picture from Pinterest. She said she would«test some out.» She made one with caramel, covered in red sprinkles, and the with hard candy. As promised, Cheyenne texted me the pictures. I ordered six of each for my daughter’s Elmo-themed Birthday party. I called the day before the event to addec two more to my order, and they graciously made two more. The customer service was great! Buy 11 apples, get 12th free PLUS a military discount. The ELMOCARAMELAPPLESWEREDELICIOUS! The red sprinkles did not taste like the«average sprinkle!» Although this was her first time making these apples, one would never know! I hope she continues to carry them too!

While I lived in Colorado Springs my family and I used to regularly go to Rocky Mountain chocolate factory because it’s the best. I’ve been in NOVA for a while and had no idea there was one right in Springfield. The owner Shyann is super friendly. In my opinion the quality is superior to Godiva, and the price is about half as much. When I lived in the Springs I had a desert tray prepared by Rocky Mountain and they exceeded my expectations. Bottom line, when you get a hankering for some amazing chocolate go here.

Very bad customer service. Bought an apple, had it sliced and left for less than 5 minutes. Caramel was a mess and came off Apple. Was all over my hands tossed it and went back to tell them. She will give me 50% off a new one. The caramel on the others are different. Never will go back. A great place is on old towne Alexandria to get same thing. Better yet… I was dealing with the owner s daughter. Will not last long.

Popped in here last weekend. It’s a cute little confectionary that reminds me of shops in Gatlinburg. They provided free samples and my wife and I couldn’t help ourselves. Staff were friendly and the store was clean. It’s not Godiva, but it is a good store to pick up some nice treats for a gift or personal use. Needless to say, I walked out shoving my face with a bag of chocolate.

A nice cute chocolate store that sells decorated candy apples, fudge, chocolate covered pretzels and assorted sweets. Yes prices are in the high side so this is a once in a while spurge at $ 22 plus a pound for chocolates. Candy apples look delicious and ready to break a tooth. Nice to have an alternative to Godiva.

Went shopping in the recently reopened Springfield Town Center(formerly Springfield Mall) and decided I would check out all of their offerings. This place caught my eye and I decided to check it out. If you’re a die-hard fan of chocolate and/or unconventional confectioneries, you’ll love it here. They have some stellar choices, ranging from a wide selection of candied apples to hand-dipped chocolate covered cherries to custom brownies(even white chocolate M&M ones!). It’s nothing short of impressive, and it’d definitely serve as a nice treat or gift for someone. I was given a free sample of the fudge here, and it tastes excellent and authentically homemade. EDIT: They seem to have wised up and rearranged the floor plan of their store to better facilitate customer movement, so I’m removing that issue with the store and upgrading my score accordingly. However, another issue still stands: while a few of the items here are reasonably priced, a large amount of the offerings here are incredibly expensive. I definitely understand the costs of making such intricate creations, though unless you’re fairly well-to-do, there’s not going to be much here for you(unless you’re willing to splurge a bit). Reviewing this place is hard since it would serve some well and some not as well. Basically, if you have a good income and you love chocolate, this place is amazing. If you have an average or below average income, this place will seem out of range for you. Additionally, no matter who you are, navigating the small storefront will present a challenge during busy hours. You’ll have to make your own call on this one! Overall: 4.0 stars — — — — — — — - Pros: — Excellent variety of delicacies, many of which you won’t find elsewhere. — Everything tastes great and is freshly made. — Employees are friendly and attentive. Cons: — Value of products is debatable due to pricing structure.
