Should be called the«Golden Pig Trough,» because that’s exactly what it is. Masses of people knuckle deep in self-serve food right in front of your eyes, on top of already low quality food. The chocolate fountain might be nice if I hadn’t witnessed a child stick their finger in it. Sure, you get unlimited amounts of food for a very small price, but you can be certain that you’re getting extremely low quality and probably contaminated food.

Very busy, which is a sign that people enjoy it. A little pricier than expected since we don’t have one in NH, but good food and plenty of it. Pleasant staff. I’m in a wheelchair currently and they were very accommodating. Liked the roasted chicken and the chocolate fountain. I saved room for dessert here. That’s for sure!

The breakfast options here were absolutely amazing! They have just about every single breakfast option you can think of. We came in with a large group(about 50) and we were accommodated well. The service was good but they could have added an extra server to refill drinks. We did go more than 5 minutes waiting for some refills. The food was hot and delicious, and they had the chocolate waterfall open for breakfast as well! I did not find anything here that I did not like. For the price, you can’t go wrong!

One of my friends and I decided to stop here after going to the Big E(figured it would be cheaper than pigging out on fried everything at the Big E) and we were not disappointed! Our waiter Juan was very diligent with our drinks and courteous to boot. There was a decent selection of food and we ate very well. I had heard there were 3 dessert fountains, but for some reason I only saw the semisweet chocolate fountain, which was by no means a hardship since I love chocolate and was more than content with chocolate coated strawberries and marshmallows galore! My only criticism is that some of the meats, in particular the roasted chicken, were a little cold. I know, it’s a buffet and these things happen, but there’s always room for improvement. I definitely would go again if I were visiting friends in the area, especially since we don’t have any Golden Corral buffets in Connecticut and it’s leagues ahead of Hometown Buffet!

Am I giving this place a 4 star rating? Yes, yes I am… breakfast buffet was a good choice. This chain snob was impressed with fried bacon on a buffet line. I can’t help it. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfect, and the hot, fresh bread was delicious with honey butter. There was a cook grilling smoked sausages and pork chops, another at an omelet station. Juices are free, but it’s extra for coffee or soft drinks — kind of dumb. Aren’t juices more expensive? Either way, it was great. A child in our(quite large) party was excited he could walk off with some cotton candy, and others really enjoyed the chocolate fountain. Service was also friendly and attentive.

This place of course is an overeaters paradise(if you want to get your money’s worth anyway) that serves a mighty feast including Chinese, Italian, American, Mexican and breakfast to boot! I’ve craved eating at this place after the countless TV commercials advertising«The best Buffet in the USA»! Well, I don’t know if the generous plug lives up to it’s advertised status, but then again… Who in the USAHASEATENATEVERYBUFFETINAMERICA and can make a meaningful comparison? No matter, it was a near 2 hour drive for my wife and I coming from Londonderry, NH. and it was worth the trip in my opinion. Good food, great price, good service rules the experience here as we indulged in the Lunch Buffet Menu. My personal favorites were the POTROAST, Hot Dogs, FRIEDCHICKEN, Fresh Garden SALAD, and of course the delectable raspberry vanilla swirl cake! My wife loved the overall eating experience also. Next time we will leave mid afternoon to catch the Dinner Buffet which includes Steak and Seafood. OH… My stomach feels the same as post Thanksgiving Dinner.

There are no Golden Corral’s in New York. The only other one I’ve ever been to was the one in Lebanon, PA on the way home from Hershey Park. We arrived for an early dinner on our way home from Massachusetts at around 5pm. It was packed but there will still several tables available. Kids under 3 eat free so it came out to about $ 40 for a family of four including drinks. You really can’t beat that for a buffet. When we have the baby with us we can’t exactly go anywhere too fancy so this place is suitable. The place was clean, the employees were friendly. The line at the grill was a bit long so I didn’t wait to get anything from there. There was enough ready to serve food around to keep me busy. The only complaint I really had was that the bacon wasn’t very crispy and some of the plates were very noticeably chipped. It is what it is, for a buffet it’s okay in my book.

Not bad typical buffet setting but oh duh it’s) to be expected because it’s golden coral. all the food was good this is not a place for people that hate people so if you are not happy because there were lines were too many people quit bitching and do not go to a buffet cheap good food equals lines and lots of people pay more go to a more upscale place and you will be OK :-). For me this place is great if you want to get super full on a budget

I have a very hard time with places like this, but I tried! Even though it is a Buffett place, they leave you several reminders to tip the person assigned to your table(very tacky). Our person(and I knew her name because there was a tacky card on our table with her name on it– its only purpose is to remind you to tip.) And then she also found the time to write her name on MY receipt that I had left on the table just in case the card was somehow not enough. But she did not have the time to clear our plates, ask about drinks(I wanted coffee but apparently that’s a secret to get any) or come over to our table at all. I left her $ 2 for writing her name twice apparently. The salad and fruit bar area really grossed me out. Right behind it, two very busy workers were doing a lot of work in the sink while they were surrounded by barrels of trash. Floor was really gross back there. The whole scene just kind of turned me off. I’m sure all kitchens are like that or much worse, but that doesn’t mean I want to actually see it. Bathroom needs some kind of ventilation system.

From the pictures I saw, I wouldn’t let a stray dog eat there. Was gonna visit the Boston area and eat here, but I think I’ll just find an Irish Pub to get some grub.

Large variety of food and dessert. There is no proper line as you would usually see at buffet. Just cut right into the area you want food from and have at it. The quality seems to be good and everything has its own individual flavors. I liked the grilled to order steaks, very tasty, but don’t count on the degree of rareness to be accurate. Atmosphere not so hot but a decent price. Both opted for $ 4.99 lobster tails. Absolutely horrible, chemical tasting crap. I’ll go again, minus the thing in the lobster shell.

A lot of very hungry people walking around a buffet frantically with small plates Germ fest. My guest and I both got sick. Skip it. Treat yourself to a decent meal.

Not bad. I like buffets since I have a hard time deciding what to get. Not a problem here. A little of this, a little of that satisfies my indecisive side. The food was tasty. Will definitely go back. Cotton candy was a big hit for the kids.

A buffet. That’s it. It is legitimately a corral of people. Sneezing, coughing, wiping noses and grabbing food. The ever so magical chocolate fountain is nothing more that a streaming goo of bacteria. SKIP

As far as buffets go, it just doesn’t get any better than this place. Huge variety, food is excellent, clean, quick service. Breakfast buffet is incredible. Dessert bar is amazing – who doesn’t love THREE fountains of chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel?! Highly recommend this place – and the prices are great, too!

Went to Golden Corral last night for dinner. First impressions… Ghetto buffet. Line was out the door. Two places to enter with no real order to anything. With that many people coming in there should be a greeter to help organize the chaos. People cutting other off no thought to the next person. Again, ghetto buffet. That kind of attitude just comes with the territory. Once inside and seated all is good. Expect to be rushed when getting your food because of how busy it is. People bumping into each other. No one really giving a thought to the next person. I can’t detract anything from the restaurant this is just the way it is. Not my idea of a nice dinner but clearly there must be a reason why people put up with it all. The food: Most of what I ate was fantastic. Certain things that stuck out as amazing were the chicken. Country style chicken fingers. Big hunks of white meat with a thick crust, all cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. Catfish was breaded and fried to perfection. Sweet Potato casserole was the best I’ve had at any buffet. The rest of what I had was still good. I didn’t eat one thing that I could say was bad. The server we had Dominique we loved! Cute girl and very friendly. Very intuitive to our needs throughout the dinner. Kept up on plate removal, drink refills, etc. Thank you Dominique! Prices were good. $ 12.99 per person. Can’t really complain about that. Most chinese buffets are more than that and the food quality can’t compare to Golden Corral. Overall Golden Corral is doing it right. I’d be back again. Maybe not during peak restaurant hours but being that it’s only an hour away I’ll go back again for the chicken alone. It’s a shame, however, to see how low society has become. No thought for the next person. People rushing and pushing to get the item they want. It’s just really sad and annoying to have to put up with when this is such a great place for dinner.

We had dinner here on New Years yesterday. We me with some friends from out of state here after driving 85 miles to get to it. The food was pretty good considering it was buffet style. Many options and everything was always getting refilled as it got low. I found it comical how serious some people were getting trying to get to the food, like it was going to disappear if they didn’t get there by first cutting the lines. A little annoying, but comical. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and probably shouldn’t have had to work on a dozen tables by herself. Our drinks only got refilled once after we chased her down and asked. We were definitely packed in there like sardines too. We would definitely go here again if we were in the area, but certainly not worth the drive just for the food.

After a long, tiring day at Six Flags, we were hungry. Very Hungry. This is where you come when you are… Very Hungry. I’ve eaten at a Golden Corral in Florida in the past, and it was horrible, so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The line was flowing out the door at 7:30 on a Saturday night, my wife and I looked at each other and commented that at least the food would be somewhat fresh. We were both pretty surprised. The food was fresh, hot, tasty, and for the most part appetizing to the point we agreed that we would return if we were in the area again. One note… unless your a fan of ingesting things that commonly found on kids’ hands, stay far away from that chocolate fountain. It’s a magnet for kids whose parents’ have taught them ZERO manners.
